[So, Chroma's Defense Mission... (Solo Complaint)]

Alright, so let me just preface this statement as me being an anti-social A****** that just doesn't want to play with other people in story missions and enjoy the scenes by myself. This is something that's incredibly specific, I know, but for me, someone who's gone to the point where I made my own clan with only three other people just so that I wouldn't have to interact with others, this is a hard sticking point.

 

Now, look, I don't know if this is just me using the wrong frames or something, but so far, I've run my Valkyr, Rhino, Vauban, and Nekros and every single time, Chroma's New Strange defense mission has just proven to be such a huge and unnecessary challenge to do on my own. 

 

There are ten waves focusing on a rather large target in the middle of a room that is hard to maneuver around properly. The target itself heals at such a sluggish pace there would be points where I'd have to leave my game on idle to do things for ten+ minutes at a time for it to heal. Even worse, though is that, once Chroma shows up, you also have to to all the kinesis synthesis stuff to it while trying to fight off all the other corpus? It just seems like too much. 

 

Am I wrong in my opinion, or do other people agree with me? I just want to know if there's something I'm doing wrong or if this mission is just scaled to feel unfair for solo players.

 

I mean, if anything, I'd just prefer if the defense target was something with a smaller hitbox or faster regeneration on its health.

[Lotus/language Ui Issue]

I haven't seen posts of this myself, nor have I had that problem.. I don't know quite what to tell you other than to re-install (which I know is a very... big task) or Verify the download Cache or something.

 

Also, if you run it from steam you could try verifying it through that.

I verified the dl cache and everything is fixed, much thanks, guy.

[Lotus/language Ui Issue]

I don't know what in the world is happening, but whenever I load up the current build of warframe today (2/12/2015), every single button option in the UI is broken into reading what it says in code with lotus/language starting at the base of all of them.

Not only that, but whenever I bring up the mods interface to upgrade, I get a screen that shows a placeholder mod with excal looking to the right, plus it is locked and incapable of being exited. I have to hard close the game from windows. 

What is happening, is this for everyone or just me, send halp, pls.

[Warframe Won't Load: Freezes On White Screen Upon Starting]

I got mine to work by loading it in on non fullscreen. For whatever reason, though, the game is playing with very significant frame rate drops and skips.

[Archwing Agility Trial]

race mode! i want that too! its not like we dont already pretend its a race (even when we were only on foot)

Yeah, that sounds like an even better extension of what I just said. Use that along with the the stuff Escantell said and it'd be great.

that would be a fantastic MASTERY RANK test.

 

so far the last 3 mastery rank test have all been the same. lets get something different to test our skills Lotus!

Oh, man, I never thought about it like that, that's even better than what I thought of just a dojo free, fun, thing.

[Archwing Agility Trial]

Hey, so one thing I'm starting to notice to be the most fun thing to do with my Archwing, so far, is to rush through different levels that don't require killing to test my agility, reflexes, and control in it while in those tight Corpus tunnels.

I was just thinking, wouldn't it be interesting for DE to put into Warframe, maybe as a new mission or area to the Dojo, an agility trial specifically for the Archwings? Everyone loves those scenes from different media where someone in an exploding spaceship is dodging everything perfectly to escape, so why not implement that as a game mode?

 

What're your opinions on the thought, Warframe community?
