  1. So. Peacemaker. It's pretty great, isn't it?

Though, have you ever thought of what it'd be like to move while using the Regulator pistols?

Well, here we go with a fun(?) little suggestion

    SHOWDOWN

    • Mesa is capable of walking and rolling while active.
    • Fire rate reduced, weapons change to semi-automatic, but gain higher base damage and crit damage.
    • Can now target weakpoints when zooming in. (i.e.: Sargas Ruk's parts)
    • Can target a total of 15 enemies in zoomed line of sight.
    • Unzoomed doesn't target weakpoints, manual aiming.
    • Can Toggle between Default and Showdown modes by pressing the Alt-fire button.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could be an augment, could be just there, either way. This is something that help within sorties. [Like assasinating Sargas Ruk at level 100.] and other kinds of situations.

  2. I like the idea but would remove the enemy modifiers.

being able to set a mission to only a certain type of enemy, (eximus, heavy, manics, etc) would be detrimental to farming.

part of the fun (or horrow, w/e) of trying to get Oberon is the rarity of Eximus and that they don't always drop a BP.

but if I can just set a mission to Eximus only, I could get all BPs and spares to sell.

some mods are only rare because the enemies that drop them are rare.

    short TL;DR

    good idea but,

    enemy modifier would break economy

But here is this; you can choose your modifiers, that, and certain enemy drops should be disabled by then if any modifiers are active.

  3. Aside of what the strange looks and angry topics, let us have a view over the following: Mission Playlists.

(This may be a bit complex but oh well)

"What exactly is a mission playlist?"

It's rather simple, it's where you go into randomized mission tilesets and modes if you don't feel like farming a node, you can do this.

"How will we be able to tell what mission types we are gonna be put into?"

That's where we shall carry out with types of mission playlists.

Allstar Playlist: Random missions of any type will be executed to play.

Stealth Playlist: Random missions that don't trigger alarms will be executed to play.

Striker Playlist: Random missions that involve a lot of killing will be executed to play.

Defender Playlist: Random missions that involve defensive tactics will be executed to play.

"That'd sound fine and all, but what if I don't want to fight a certain faction?"

We shall contain your selected modifiers for such a thing.

Decayed Clones - Grineer are the only enemies in that playlist.

Profitable Merchants - Corpus are the only enemies in that playlist.

Virus Monsters - Infested are the only enemies in that playlist.

No Preference - No modifier, any enemy faction in that mission may be in that playlist.

"We get that, but most nodes are too easy, can we choose the difficulty for that?"

Yes, you can, Heroic and higher has to be voted for by the party if applicable.

Starting Out - Enemies range from levels 10-20 in that playlist.

Warming Up - Enemies range from levels 25-35 in that playlist.

Standards - Enemies range from levels 40-55 in that playlist.

Heroic - Enemies range from levels 57-65 in that playlist.

Danger Zone - Enemies range from levels 70-80 in that playlist.

Are you mad? - Enemies range from levels 90-100 in that playlist.

Rolling Die - Enemies range from levels 1-100 in that playlist.

"What about enemy types? Can we choose such a thing?"

You can, but those are voted for by the party if applicable.

Small Troops - No Heavy or Eximus units appear in that playlist.

Regulated - No modifier, enemy selection is unchanged in that playlist.

Big Boys - All encountered enemies are Heavy units in that playlist.

Leadership - All encountered enemies are Eximus units in that playlist.

Manic! - All Grineer missions only have Manics in that playlist, have fun.

Bursa? Hardly knew 'er. - All Corpus units are Bursa units in that playlist.

Proxy Army - All Corpus units are robotics in that playlist.

Cover or Crash - All encountered enemies are Sniper units in that playlist.

Fisticufss - All encountered enemies are Melee units in that playlsit.

Unchained - Bosses may appear in missions in that playlist, specific drops for certain bosses will be disabled.

    "What about behavior?"

This, again, shall be voted for by the party.

Angry - Enemies will not stagger nor seek cover in that playlist.

Grenadiers - Enemies will more often throw grenades in that playlist.

Cower - Enemies will deploy or find cover at first glance of seeing the player in that playlist, this includes Heavy units.

Precision - Enemies will attempt to fire at your head to deal more damage in that playlist.

I've wanted a few things like this before, and I feel it's a great way to test the limits upon your weaponry and frames.

    What do you think?

  4. So, I think there has been a little 'whoops' with the Lex Prime's buff, and that 'whoops' being that it appears to have carried over to Conclave, I would assume this is on accident, since it is not supposed to be that powerful when everything is on rank 0 health and shields.

    0uZmPZN.png

    What do you guys think?

  5. So, I am not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the Karak wielded by the Elite Frontier Lancer is a bit...stupid.

I mean, speaking from my own terms, in the Trial, I feel like they instantly rip trough a fully overcharged shield, and even at level 15 they could really screw you over.

I feel like this is a problem. Is this because of Impact, or an issue in it's weapon damage scaling? It's the strangest thing I've noticed to date.

What are your thoughts on this?

  6. Okay, I have little to no idea if this is the case for you guys, but just hear me out on this.

I have been having Stalker encounters over rather fair situations, about five or seven this month, but there is one thing that bugs me the most: Where are the blueprints?

I haven't seen not even a Dread blueprint from this guy lately. What is going on?

Since the many chances made to the spawning chances, don't you think blueprint drops should be a guaranteed chance again by now? This literally has been bugging me since, well, after the whole event, has any of you seen this before? If so, say so! This is a rather serious thing, actually. Don't you agree the blueprint drops should be fixed?

And no, the Stalker's chance is NOT linked in any shape or form to Conclave ratings, that was a hidden thing from the past, and it's gone. Stop thinking it still is.

  7. Tenno.

You may know of a particular alert-only electric-base sword weapon known as the Plasma Sword. A weapon that from the old days used to be a good thing, but now isn't anymore. I haven't exactly been in such system for too long, but I learned that that weapon needs a bit of an update, or rather, a little bit of rework, right?

Well, since the throwing weapons/Redeemer have a 'hold melee for secondary function' thing, why not give certain other weapons the same? Anyway, I wasn't exactly thinking of the old charge attacks, but like special abillities within these alert-only swords that moreso explains why they are only for alerts.A special attack, for example the user would send out a short-range wave of energy that deals additional damage, or perhaps slam the ground with it making a shockwave that procs electric on anything caught within. I'm not talking about making it a "god-tier" item [i'm looking at you, Boltor Prime], but rather a fun, yet usable sword to take anywhere you want. But you may ask: "What about the charge attack mods that are now channeling mods?" Well, channeling could be something to speed up the usage of the charge attack or strengthen the elemental effect's damage [if it has one], at the cost of a little bit of energy. [this might make REflex Coil useful], however it should be noted that this can be applied to also the Heat Sword. WHat about the combos? It's a simple Hold Melee thing, it shouldn't mess up stances, right? Now, a little look at the stats that can be increased.

    Damage: From 35 to 45

Attack Speed: From 0.7 to 0.9

Crit Chance: From 15% to 20%

Crit Damage: Should stay the same.

Status Chance: No need to change that.

Please take note that this is my opinion on how to change it, but I think this might be a way for giving alert-exclusive items a new jacket for the Melee 2.0 system.

  8. Okay, so we all know the Tenno Specter by now, and we also know their AI is at it's best in the Dark Sector conflict.

So I was thinking of what it also should be able to do.

Here are a few ideas on what they could all do.

    > They should switch between primary and secondary occasionally if needed.

    > With throwing weapons/Redeemer, they should sometimes use the throw/fire mechanic of the weapon.

    > For stealth, they should hold fire, and possibly do a sneak attack if the target is placed a marker on.

    > They should be assigned to target a different enemy if they get marked by their master.

    > They could go to a marked position, or follow Kubrows of other players marked by their master.

    > If their master is down, they should attempt to revive him/her.

    > They should use their ultimate if low on health. [in a manner similar to Stalker and Absorb]

And these are my ideas for the Tenno Specter, feel free to leave more of them as reply if you have them.

  9. Tsch, those who are way too depending on their abillitites are more likely to go down in the likely future events of a sort.

Think about it, there will be a time where there's an event that will make abillities are not going to work anymore. [other than Stalker fights]

So what is the smartest thing to do? Use a configuration as preperations for such a thing.

For example this setup for Zephyr:

    o1kaIeK.png

I tend to take a setup like this up to Tower IV, as I tend to get in someone's face with Dragon Nikana when I am not restricted by others.

But being too dependent on abillities or not is entirely up to the player him/herself.

I'll leave the rest up to the other people.

  10. So a few people have experienced something with the Peacemaker of Mesa.

There is a way [host-only] to do it yourself.

There are a few things to do.

Bind a key to selecting your gear slot with the Codex Scanner

Switch to your melee, and press that button twice quickly.

You'll have this on the weapon part of your HUD named "Unarmed"

    tyKnNt0.png

What you then do, is enter Peacemaker, and regardless wether you deactivate it or your energy runs out, you keep the Regulators active, you can move, quick melee, and that shiz.

    Like at here:

    R0kV8t8.png

Exiting this glitch is simple: Press your switch weapon key and you'll simply switch to your gun/melee if held.

    And that's all.

Hosts have fun with it while it lasts.

  11. >Will there be more of those weapons we can create from older weapons?

    >Will there be more Anniversary Market weapons?

    >Which weapon will have a Vandal/Wraith version next?

    >Maybe fix a few 'drop' issues with Stalker? [Like say, if he drops a weapon blueprint yet it's one the player defeating it already has, it becomes a different one, something like that.]

  12. I don't think its a bug. But the stance, as some do some extra damage within a combo or something. Like the Crimson Dervish giving an x3 multiplier on the first (three?) hit(s)

The thing is the damage multiplier is never stated anywhere in the Wiki or here, so I'd be assuming it's a bug, but I don't really know.

  13. Okay, so I am not too sure  if it's an actual bug or not, but the Fang Prime is doing something wacky with it's damage, specifically with Gnashing Payara. I was doing Apollodorus this morning and when I did the second attack on the Quick Melee with the stance, this happened:

    pHlKqax.png

I'm not sure why it would for some reason deal 557 damage like that, and all I had on it was Pressure Point, this is odd to me, and I'm unsure wether or not it's a bug with the stance or the weapon itself, but what I do know is that this is not supposed to happen. So I'll be leaving this here, and let others figure it out from there [as I don't know].

  14. Alright, it's been a while and a lot of you have the Brakk already, however, this is more towards the ones who haven't managed to get it yet.

Last night I've had rather two encounters of the G3 we won, both times all three bodies were desecrated. You'd think we're gonna have something for example a Brakk Barrel by then.

We only had a lone Brakk Blueprint.

Yep, that's what happened, two runs, both fully desecrated, only a single Blueprint, and some Neurodes and mods.

This seems to be an issue to a lot of people overall, the Brakk being a wanted weapon and just such a pain, and the drop rates are the reason: It's too dang low.

    So, I'm spreading the word for the shy Tenno out there;

Increase the drop chances a bit, we've had rather enough of being screwed over with no Brakk pieces at all during encounters.

On behalf of us, who hunt the G3, who take the risk to try and get the damn Brakk.

Please, do us a favor and make it easier.

  15. I remember my first time I encountered the Stalker. I was still fresh meat. I was hanging around with other new players...

There it was, the light flickering. I was curious. What was up with that?

He spoke to me, telling me I couldn't hide.

He spoke about Jackal, I was curious, who was this person?

He said "I am your reckoning!"

I was about to engage combat, while he quickly fired one arrow at me, and I died, simple as that.

I was scared from that point on, I managed to take one look at the name, "Stalker"...

At this point I am still semi-paranoid about texture flickers during runs, at the same time preparing my Dakra...

Sometimes I live, sometimes I die, it's all part of the cycle, I'd say.

  16. There seems to be a slight issue.

When I play the Infested Defense [in particular], and there are four or more linked to a Healer, an AOE weapon [like the Castanas] can cause a crash, may be related to a crapton of status procs at once to the poor Ancient, or just damage linking in general.
