as it stands since the railjack guns seem to do no more than tickle ships and the velocitus is much better i kill enemy ships in archwing anyway if possible

The best compromise would probably be an option to switch control styles. I play on keyboard and mouse, and this new one makes it nearly impossible to pilot my ship because of how it functions.

They changed it to be always centered in the recent hotfix

Well that's a rediculous change then. It does nothing except make aiming impossible and flying really horrible.

I have this same issue. I have no idea what caused it on my end, but it makes piloting the Railjack extremely difficult and aiming next to impossible. Here's hoping they fix it quickly.
