  1. Have two options that essentially boil down to "longer group-based content" and "Shorter session time solo mode" and let the players choose which experience they would like to play for that week.

I gotta say I really enjoyed the 60 minute survivals and the play with friends missions gave me another good reason to be like "hey friend lets do this mission together!"

No, Conclave was created to sate the need for a very minority to kill each other and some to try in prove they have bigger brains than the rest (Yes, a player has used that term in the forums).

    Yikes!

Some people are so strange. Conclave is at best a goofy chaotic mess that I enjoy randomly jumping into...... rarely.

The real issue is Warframe was never ment to have any sort of PVP incorporated into it. The majority of players that seek out warframe do so for its PVE experience. There are already enough PVP Focused/Enforced titles out there.

If it depended on me, i would have [DE] completely retire Conclave, have Teshin give out random Daily and Weekly challenges that awarded standings with him for players to purchase those special skins and new stuff that could come in time.

Its not like conclave was created by accident though?

PvP exists in this game, and just cutting it out completely would probably do more harm than good. Honestly I'm not sure what good that would do at all?

If you don't like pvp, don't pvp?

I'd rather they take chances than play it safe.

Make PvP better by completely stripping away everything that draws people to Warframe in the first place. None of the frames, the weapons, the mods, the gameplay people use in every other part of the game.

    This is ridiculous.

Thats only to begin with. To have a baseline to work from and expand on. People who want the 'warframe experience' can PvE for tens of thousands of hours. DE has shown they are willing to change up the gameplay with Archwing and the open world zones, why not try something different with pvp?

  5. We have a war going on and two massive factions. Why not make pvp into something that adds flavor into the Warframe universe by highlighting the war between these two factions and allowing us to take direct control of a grunt on the frontlines.

The real heart of the issue with Pvp in Warframe is that frames are not designed to be balanced for pvp. This is for obvious reasons, balancing out every frame would be a massive waste of time. So lets remove frames from pvp (conclave FFA and Lunaro can stay as a fun chaos filled mess for those who are into it).

Give me a Grineer and a Corpus, the most basic units to start with and the most basic weapons. Make my movement slow(er) so that I think about cover instead of speed/agility. Slow paced, close(er) quarters combat between two large groups of NPCs with players on each side. Use the interception maps that are already in the game. Have 4 premade loadouts for each side specializing in Attack, Defence, Support, Ranger. Keep it simple. Gain credits and resources for winning comparable to doing any mid tier PvE activity. Add in a slight chance for the boss frame parts from the planet the battle takes place on to drop to create an alternative to farming bosses. Give us a few customization options for our Grineer and Corpus characters that get visually cooler/weirder the higher level we get. Have it tie directly into the invasions/infestation systems.

This would create a clean slate to over time build up a pvp system that rewards participation by acting as an alternative to repeating the same PvE missions over and over while also adding more texture, context, and variance to the game.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who has had this idea, and I also realize DE is very busy with other more important things, but I felt like I needed to put this out there.

  6. Fight the urge of buying any frame with platinum!

If your heart is set on one of these frames then you should consider joining an established clan and buying the Zephyr parts from the clan lab using credits. Zephyr has some really fun abilities and can fly around and make tornados!

Use your platinum on slots and cosmetics!

I've found that one of the most gratifying experiences in Warframe for me is when a new frame finally finishes being built in the foundry and you equip it for the first time and smile thinking "Got it!"
