  1. So 1 conduit in steel path destruction was a bug? Lol, I haven't even thought about that. I remember thinking that it was deliberate choice, since steel path demolists are pain in the back to kill. I'd say that in at least half of SP Destructions first conduit is a fail. Sometimes it's 4th conduit that finally success. Also bunch of players are leaving game after 1 or 2 failed conduits in search of other teams that would carry them faster. You turn a quick but challenging mission into mission that just doesn't worth the time. Not a big thing for me, as I don't need more essence anyway, so I can just ignore destruction missions, but still I think it's completely unnecessary change to the worse.

  2. Unlike others here, I actually looked forward for this protea augment as my build is heavly depending on having sentinel or moa alive. But I am buffled at its implementation. You can only have either one or another dispenser, not both. Why? In what world would I keep repair dispenser running over normal one? I would just repair my sentinel and then switch to normal dispenser, so nobody would be able to benifit from it except me. I think it should allow you to either keep both or what would be even better it should just modify dispenser to have repair capability as additional to its normal ones.

this is just unfair i have missions that are legit impossible to do like the profit taker one because i cant get enough standing to actually unlock it in time....

In time for what? Last intermission lasted for more than a half year. You have enough time for everything. If you don't know it yet - there's catch-up mechanic for weekly challenges.

  4. I'm a little surprised that DE desided to make boss fight skill based. It's not usually how warframe bosses work. It's not hard per se, but has some little annoyances. I did it on 3rd attempt, so it wasn't too bad, but that puzzle jumping looks very annoying on repeat. Especially when you have already touched the stone and forced to wait almost minute while Nora and Nihil are talking. I think it would be better to make that part skippable.

On plus side sword looks very cool, can't wait to try it.

brutal honesty kylo but to be honest we should definitively get another way to get that because we all know that twitch drops sometimes dont works ^.^

    magicly unlinked accounts poof !

We will. It would be either Baro offering like glaxion vandal or drop from some missions like spectra vandal.

Wait.. So you're saying it's lazy to have the option to skip a challenge you don't like?

And that's not the only sensible answer. There's tons of things to gild. There's tons of standing to earn. There's tons of players that desk with it without angst

Lol, Are you trolling? Please, say, that you are, because it makes no sense otherwise. It's almost comical, how you're pretending to not understand what other people tell you. At least I hope that you're pretending.

I'm really confused why "skip it" isn't a solution.

Because it's lazy? If the only sensible answer for something is "just skip it", then this something shouldn't be the option in the first place. As I've said, I'm not even concerned about it, as I'm sure it's just a glitch and it will be fixed.

I am genuinely curious for how many people this Act is a complete waste/skip.

I'm MR27 right now and while I've done all the Zaws and Kitguns and Moas (once), I've probably gilded less than half the game's Amps. There is still a lot for me to do, I haven't been in a rush to max all Amps, and I always craft something new and useful* when the task comes up. I've also done it only once for each strike/barrel/chamber/head that I've made, meaning I could do repeat chambers for variety beyond just the MR points.

I genuinely have no idea how many people take zero benefit except the NW Standing from gilding a new Modular, but I have a feeling it's not a huge percentage of players.

*at the very least for the MR points

For me, MR21 player, it's not a big problem as I can just create zaw or moa and gild them. I have resources and I have slots. Also I have 2 moas and 8 zaws I haven't build yet. But after that I'll be  forced either skip it or just do pointless work on maxing item that I'll just discard anyway.

But where this challenge sucks most, it's for new players. I was one of them. I started playing when NW was in second week of season 1 and this challenge was horrible for me. Too much grind for something I didn't need and couldn't even keep after that as I had no spare slots at the time.

not if the reasoning is "i'm too entitles to realize i can skip this challenge". no, i'm not being a hypocrite. i skip challenges all the time...by CHOICE,

You are. You've literally made argument that it easy standing for you so it would be problem if it would be removed and in the same time just repeating 'just skip it'. That's hypocrisy.

It's bad challenge by design and skipping it isn't answer. I don't even care much about it as I'm sure it is a bug and they just accidentally activated disabled challenge when they added new challenges.

yeah, that was a time when people thought that missing a few challenges meant coming up short on rank 30. We KNOW thats not the case now, and they added more ways to opportunities to get standing per week.

removing it now is just removing an easy 4500 standing for some player because others refuse to practice self control on a small NON issue.

Lol, what a hypocrisy. So it's not a problem if other are missing out on 4500 standing, but it's problem if you do? Even more, you don't really miss standing, you're just missing 'easy'(for you) standing.

Star chart bosses (except Ropalolyst, Ropalolyst Sortie when DE?) can be included in Sorties, so rewards for Veterans shouldn’t be a problem. Deadlock Protocol achieves what all the whiny vets scream about “Revisiting old content”.

Jackal's already in sortie. In fact it's in today's sortie. So how making his fight longer because of invulnerability phases will reward old players?

I actually dislike the new Jackal boss fight from the preview. The original fight was definitely boring and too easy, but this new fight is just exactly what the Exploiter Orb was: A long drawn out mission with flashy animations, cutscenes, and invulnerability mechanics where the damage you deal is hardly relevant. The old Jackal and the new Jackal have the exact same amount of damage requirements (atleast from what we saw). The new Jackal is just stuffed with eye candy that artificially draws out the fight.

It wasn't too easy when I first kill him. Neither it was boring. In today's sortie it was probably 20 seconds fight I think. Which is exactly how it should be. You shouldn't drag high MR players through stupid mechanics like invulnerability phases to artificially increase required time to kill. That's what makes fights boring.

now if we can just get something of this caliber for the bosses that REALLY need it, namely Sarge and Phorid..and maybe a Vay Hek rework wouldn't hurt either..

Vay Hek yes, he's stupid and annoying. Sergeant and Phorid is a big no-no. They work just beautifully. No stupid phases, no health gates. You kill them and collect your sortie reward. No need to change that.

I noticed it when playing oberon today, with renewal active, using a medium squad energy restore wouldn't give any energy. It did work without renewal being active.

It's worked like intended. All abilities that drain energy over time works like that.

  15. I did notice that, but how about range? I'm not kidding about 10 meters. I did get much worse result in Fomorian now than when I first used it there. And that was with no good mods, no catalyst and no forma. Projectile type shouldn't matter much if I shot stationary targets.

  16. I tried Fomorian few minutes ago and it's horrible. It literally have less range than catchmoon after last nerf. It haven't register a hit unless I'm about 10 or less meters away from my target. I can only hit power node that's right in front of me. It couldn't be intentional, could it?
