  1. Yo, if anyone is having trouble getting the mad lads to spawn, it looks like the event of the glass fracture spawning to glass some boys follows the same spawn rules as an ambush like stalker, IE, you need to be in a mission for >4 minutes for it to spawn. Try doing something like disruption or doing sabotages and looking for the caches.

My experience could be distorted coz obviously the more time you spend in missions the greater the chance of spawn, but this is how its been for all my fracture spawns

  2. IMO its fine when people need to afk for a reason (and if they take too long the system will actually suspend their reward) I've had people who really need to go to the bathroom in the middle of an arbitration, and its like, ok, you'll probably die but its a choice of ending the mission or dealing with one person down for 5 minutes. It's the people that have anti afk macros and stuff that really annoy me, you've dedicated some amount of time to deliberately subvert the system so you can afk through bounties or people doing 3 cache sabotages (Marduk is where I've seen the most, only seen one or two on hydron and none in ESO)

Don't waste time, Just add them to ignore and don't revive them... Most players  report other people for no reason so it's a total mess.

This is probably the easiest thing to do. Lead the enemies to them, highlight in chat what they’re doing and let them die. They’ll AFK and won’t get any rewards as they will no longer be moving.

Yeah that's probably the best way to like.. punish them in that single session, but it irritates that they'll be doing it to someone else in a few minutes time, and they're eating up a slot in the game that could be someone to actually play the game with. Like if you're doing an endless fracture, its really neat to get a team of 4 people that want to go for a while, yes that doesn't happen all the time, but the afk'er makes it literally impossible

Support ticket, ideally with video proof.

That's a lot of effort expected on behalf of the player for something that's probably the most common reason to report someone, I don't think I've ever seen a chat spammer, only had like one person doing what I'd call offensive/abusive chat, but I've had two separate afk macro people today. I don't have video recording software and there's no way in game to submit a ticket.

  5. When you go to report a player, you get the options of Spam, Offensive name/language, Harassment and Real Life Threat.

I have been putting it under "harassment" coz I guess I'd call it a kind of gameplay abuse? There's no "cheating" or "botting". Or is this a thing thats totally acceptable? I don't mean someone going "oh S#&$ brb *reason*" (altho those players actually get punished, because they'd be taking no action at all) I mean the people using afk macros to run in a corner somewhere, doing 0% on everything

The ignore function worked well enough for me when I got somebody trying to buy 4 primed warframe sets from me for 20 plat, blocked that sucker real quick.

The statistical odds of running into the same person more than once in any mission is nigh impossible, hell on the Switch version I've only run into a name I recognized one time by dumb luck, and neither of us ever talked the first time or the second.

This might be true if you play on the american or european regions, but I'm on oceanic. Even if this game has a massive playerbase beyond Overwatch, WoW, or LoL, there'd be people you'd see over and over simply because there's a smaller pool. This continent has less people than California.

If there's only 5 people that you've encountered that meet a criteria of 'ignore player' why do you need it?

If it's literally only .1% of the population, as you presented yourself, why would anyone implement this? Why would developers waste precious time on adding this insanely insignificant feature for an insanely insignificant target range?

Also, how have you ever played with a random twice? I've never had the same random more than once.

Maybe your region has higher player numbers around the clock, or maybe you don't recognise names as easily. I've got a fair number of people I see regularly. Some are people that seem to farm the same missions over and over that I'll see when I do those. Overwatch has a version of this where you can avoid a player being on your team for a 3 day period, and you can only have a couple of people on that list at any given time

  8. Maybe you always get a godawful connection to them, maybe they always dissolve groups before you can get back to Fortuna so you lose bounties. Maybe they've griefed you. Maybe you just don't want to play with them. None of these are reasons they should necessarily receive a ban, but they're definitely a reason you never want to see them again. Ignore only stops you getting messages from them, it doesn't stop you getting matched with them.

inb4 play solo; I want to play with 99,9% of the players I've encountered, there's only about 5 people I've encountered that would meet this criteria (and a few more I think should actually be banned or warned, but thats what reports are for)

  9. IMO the rubbish drops he has should just be removed/replaced with something else. Things that are useful or vaguely interesting so youre like "oh, neat" rather than getting another cold damage to pistols mod you have 100 of. Maybe give him the spy mods or easy rathuum stances or something, so each kill can give you something you don't already have

  10. By the time I got the screenshot 2 of the 4 ppl in the group had left, but the 3 of us experience huge tanks, down to 4 fps (as you can see in the screenshot). I *think* it started as I used my 1 and 2 together on mirage but it could have been general or due to host. The host said they were NOT experiencing terrible issues

  11. I've seen this happen to myself and others several times, it seems that if you rez someone and the animation is still starting when they get back up/hold x to die the rezzer will either get stuck in the rez animation and be unable to move, or just unable to move with no animation

No. Theres a bug that rips groups apart as mentioned above and i dont think you can report someone for accidentally leaving their matching to global when they go to the vallis.

There is a matchmaking bug currently that will pull groups apart into their own individual sessions.

    Check out @sj_sinclair’s Tweet:

Cool, wasn't aware it was a mm bug

  13. Basically I see this a LOT in vallis free roam. You join it, it puts you in a group with someone, and they instantly leave before you can even load in. This means I can never get groups with people actually doing anything in Vallis, because there's apparently 70 open groups and they always do this (also it has a solid chance to bug the zone by reloading you into an instance that doesn't have things in it). Can we get a "report player for screwing with the public game"? or can people just stop setting their damn games to public if they don't want people to join? I spend more time trying to get in a group than I actually can spend in said groups

EDIT: I now know that the internet strangers I've been getting cranky at are probably suffering the same frustrations as me and its likely a matchmaking bug

  14. I'm trying to find solutions and I'm seeing complaints about him bugging and becoming invincible. I'm not even using strong guns and I've had it happen twice in a row now.

EDIT: 3 times in a row. I'm using a latron prime that takes like 10 shots to phase him, no stupid instakill nonsense. This is just bad

  15. I've had times where ppl join my game and are like "oh sick we're fishing, guess I'll get that weekly done too" and they'll show me a good spot, then later someone newer than me has joined and I've been able to pass that along. I've had groups want to do fissures without complaints that I have to k-drive my way over. Basically matching people that play differently together helps, and it makes the game more dynamic and interesting.
