How about changes to make it more apparent that something is in the rift? This is seriously one of the biggest and longest running problems of limbo, its extremely hard to tell what is in the rift and what isn't.

Honestly ... I'd like to see them make it configurable ... I'd make it so they turn completely grayscale, no enviromental lighting colors and whatnot, just bleach their colors out of existence while they're in the rift.

So I’ve been playing the game for a bit now and I’ve been stuck on mastery rank 3, I’ve tried everything from ranking up weapons and Warframes to defeating junctions and it’s not going up at all

You only obtain mastery from performing those actions "Once". If you've ranked up your MK-1 weapons to 30, that's it, you cannot obtain any more mastery from them, even if you forma, or build another MK-1 weapon of the same type. Each junction gives mastery points on completing it "Once", just like every other node in the star-chart.

When you're in the orbiter, press "Esc" to bring up the menu, hover over your name on the top-left of your screen, and hit the "Show Profile" button under it, it'll bring you to a page that contains all relevant material for your profile, which includes every single piece of equipment you can obtain.

Click the "Equipment" tab, and you'll see a list of every single equipment you can master and obtain mastery points from, click on "Sort by: Name" and change it to "Progress". As you scroll down on that list, you'll find that you have a few items that are fully colored and with a green laurel icon at the top-right of each entry, that signifies that the item is mastered, and you cannot obtain any more mastery on it, when they are greyed out it means you have not obtained and/or used yet, those are the only ones that count towards increasing your mastery experience, and Rank.

    Found this here.

    From EDFScout:

Got myself a -114,9% status duration riven and did a little testing.

      Reveal hidden contents

Damage types and their status effects with negative duration:

    Impact: staggers normally

    Slash: effect nullified

    Puncture: effect nullified

    Cold: effect nullified

Electricity: chain attacks and stuns normally but no visible electricity

Heat: normal panic animation but no visible flame

    Toxin: effect nullified

Blast: knockdowns normally but no visible explosion

    Corrosive: decreases armor normally

    Gas: effect nullified

Magnetic: effect procs, but lasts 0 seconds

    Radiation: effect nullified

Viral: effect procs, but lasts 0 seconds

Feel free to share my results.

All status effects now have duration, including corrosive, an effective duration of 0 potentially means any effects are now nullified, except for effects that force enemy animations to play, as even tho the status effect has a duration of 0, it still has to "Trigger" the effect on the enemy.

You're going to need to re-do your tests due to changes done to status effects.

  4. Honestly, I don't think this was a nerf, whatever you want to define it as, the fact is, their intention wasn't to directly screw with the stats of the tombfinger specifically.

I think they forgot to add different effects to the different grips when they first dropped the update, it was pretty clear, that the only changes each grip had, was less "fire-rate=+damage", my instinct told me "hold up, there's got to be more than just this, they essentially made tremor be the objectively best choice as the reduction in damage was significantly higher than the increase in fire-rate".

So I waited, and sure enough, they tweaked the stats, those of you that have poured 8 formas into it, you have my condoleances, but maybe you should play smarter. Not everything needs to be "Gobbled" up from day one, take your time every time, sure DE screwed up, if you had waited, it wouldn't have hurt you as much as it did.

But who am I to talk, I basically poured 5 formas into the Stropha, and am currently waiting for it to get a nerf, because it's just as powerful as the redeemer when compared to all other melee weapons (it's basically if Arca Plasmor and Redeemer had a son, and it has the best traits from both).

  5. Would you entertain the thought of having Valkyr's Ripline removed from her kit.
Replaced with something else that would be much more useful to the frame.
And have every frame be able to use a form of Ripline involving the parazon?
(yes, the jackal cutscene was the source for this idea)

  6. Wait ... bramma has an ammo problem? "Looks at my [Vigilante Supplies] and [Carrier Prime]" ... I really don't see where the problem is.

To put it bluntly, Bramma (and any other Kuva weapon tbh), was never intended to be useable by new players, it has always been a thing for those that have a better understanding of the game's mechanics, and how to maximize the potential of their loadout, the weapons themselves have a Mastery Rank required to obtain, but is completely bypassed by the method of acquisition.

That being said, the moment you say "This is a problem for new players" I roll my eyes, it's not a problem for them, as they shouldn't have had access to the weapon in the first place, it has been rendered non-effective for them precisely because they shouldn't be using it when they're new, unless they have the capability of bypassing the ammo restrictions (which is something players that have spent a considerable amount of time playing can do).

If you, as a new player, still enjoy this weapon, and have obtained the means with which to make it useable in missions, then congratulations, you're doing better than people that whine on the forums about it.

I was curious what the fastest way to build up credits is, preferably solo. I played for a couple months years ago, and am just getting back into the game. I just finished War Within quest lol..... don’t even have a railjack. Anyway, farming most things doesn’t seem unreasonable so far, but I cannot seem to figure a good way to farm credits besides maybe 25k at a time doing dark sectors as fast as I can. The Index hasn’t worked for me, I don’t lose, but I don’t win either. Is there a faster way? Credits, so far, are what is limiting me the most.

Well ... you're basically limiting yourself from being able to get credits faster than you already are by doing it solo, you're not at the point where you can potentially maximize your earnings without having to rely on a team to do it with.

Dark sector missions are actually not bad in earning credits, but the credits/min spent in a mission is directly tied to how fast you can kill enemies and get the loot.

Index is by far the fastest, with a good team earning nearly 750k in just under 30 minutes of play time (some take it to the extremes, but on average 30 minutes is good enough)
You can't not lose, you can only Win or Lose in the Index, since you can't get back the investment you paid to enter the index, even if it's a tie, you still lost.

Second to Index, would have to be Profit Taker, sadly that one is locked behind max standing with Solaris United, and is rather difficult to do solo without knowing the mechanics, and having a decent understanding of how to mod your equipment to pass the "DPS Check" at the final phase.

Next on the list is Railjack, recent changes have made it a lot easier to just blitz through missions on certain proximas, namely those that do not have secondary objectives and the only task is dispatching the fighters and crewships to finish the mission (it's also very good for leveling up weapons/frame/companions even while solo, as all affinity earned by killing enemies with the Railjack abilities/weapons is technically "Squad Affinity" meaning it is shared between your gear items as if a squad member has killed the enemies).

If you happen to have duplicates of blueprints that are not really necessary to you (kavat incubator segment from Hyekka Master, Oberon blueprints from Eximus enemies, etc) you can sell those for credits. Other than that, there's not much you can do.

by watching a cutscene 😛 , its not yet a mechanic.

Oh my god ... Yes ... Make the parazon a Ripline on its own, and replace's valkyr's ability with something more useful, mobility mechanics should have never been tied to warframe abilities, I don't care how unique it is, we're ninjas for heck's sake (Nova's portal doesn't count, that's literally using spacemagic).

  9. Then we can safely say this is a bug, it's basically not even an option to see if he can give you the next target, all I can suggest aside from a support ticket (which IMHO you should send one right away regardless of my next suggestion)

Try replaying the quest for accessing Sanctuary, and/or the training simulation and see if that changes anything.

Hi SocialFox, Cephalon Simaris only has one rank, "Neutral."  There are no options to rank up and there is no rank below Neutral.

I think I remember doing my 1st daily synth run at MR1 or 2.  I do not think there are any limitations on accessing Cephalon Simaris other than getting to the relay.

You do realize that even if there's only one rank, you can still be at Minimal standing (which is 0) or Maximum standing (Which is whatever simaris's Standing cap is) In no way did I refer to "Ranks". In some cases, when you're at the maximum cap for standing you're not eligible to receive more, hence why I suspected he might not give the next target as you're capped.

The only way a daily synthesis target impacts the UI beyond 1 day is if you complete it and fail to turn it in.  During this time the UI will display "remind me of my target."

The OP image URL shows an interface I don't think should ever be displayed because it is completely missing any reference to the daily target.  I'll verify when I do my target, today, and post an update.

Looking at the screenshot I'd have to agree with you, mine has the following options with 2/4 of my current synthesis target done. Not sure how it's supposed to look like with the target finished and ready to claim next, but I am 100% sure it shouldn't look like OP's screenshot. Simaris always tells me to "Come back later" when I didn't wait long enough since my last synthesis target was done.

Which reminds me, OP, are you at max standing with simaris? Not sure if that should be able to affect anything, but I suspect that if you have maxed standing with him, he won't give you a next target. I never have max standing with him for various reasons, so I never encountered this.

So i got this destreza riven that goes
    Cold damage +96.6%
    Damage +199.3%
    Toxin Damage 107.4%
    CC -176.7%

From the data i got from some dps calculator on some web, the burst and dps of this riven+condition overload and bloodrush build surpass nikana and kronen with the same build without riven.
As the title says, is it bad on field? or is it as good as the calculator said?

Wow ... I can't even describe how bad negative crit is on anything really (unless your base crit is something like 10% or less which would bake it not worth modding for crit).

But it would've been fun if it could overflow to the other end of the value and give you Infinity-Tier crits.

You mean the one where you stick a fuel cell in the coolant port?

This is actually a cool idea. If doing this automatically freed the prisoners, it would be a unique way of making it feel different.

Well, it doesn't, but it does make me feel less guilty of not farming the crowns before I start a sabotage mission, it's a matter of principle.

What feels worse is if in a reactor sabotage mission we go for restarting the reactor without coolant: we leave and the ship goes supernova!

We are literally murdering those NPCs.

I'd prefer if rescuing them has a monetary cost - liker Tiker's bonds, to receive exp or normal Solaris rep, while sacrificing granum crowns earns Vox Solaris rep.

As things are this leaves a really bad taste, considering those NPCs are restrained in the same cutting harness that we see tearing an excalibur to pieces in Alad V original cinematic introduction.

Which is why I decided to always do the "Blackout" route, even if I can't save 'em, there's a chance the ship loses power long enough for them to escape anyway.

  15. I too, would love to live in an ideal world, where nobody gets offended by anything, where politics isn't such a touchy subject, where people don't have to be afraid of getting killed for whatever reason, where nothing can be interpreted in any way/shape/form for certain individuals to reach their goals, where every single one of our desires can be satisfied with a click of a button.

Sadly, we're still in the real world, and anything in it, still affects the virtual, as long as the virtual still has to follow the real world laws. To quote Little Duck "You'll just have to wear it."

Clearly you haven't met the Sergeant yet.

You clearly have never seen Corrupted Vor yet ... I rarely even notice his existence till he starts his monologue, and then the whole squad just laughs cause we thought he was just another trash mob, well, he died like one, so we didn't feel the difference.

  17. Oof ... I remember when one of my clanmates sold a 6 forma Gram Prime cause they were selecting different random items in their inventory that they didn't need anymore, they only noticed it was gone when they tried to select it in the loadout before a mission start, we all chuckled for a while, and we're constantly reminding them of the blunder.

They contacted support about potentially retrieving it, since it was an accident (that, and there's no confirmation window of trying to sell/discard a built/forma'd/equipped item from any of the loadouts before selling), by the time suport responded, they already got a Gram Prime, and put 6 formas into it.

Not trying to make their support team look bad, just pointing out the reality of the situation, they're swamped with a lot of other stuff that they really can't respond in time, and there's also COVID19 measures disrupting their ability to respond.

    there we go again...

dont wanna make a new email account or use an existing account ? - use a very antique technique to trick the system

add the +Tag after the normal name before the @sign ....

Your mail program will get these placeholder emails under your normal account.

example :  warramssie@warframe.com = warramssie+yoursavior@warframe.com and it is still the same email as warramssie+WARFRAME@warframe.com.

    Thats all.

Special Tip You can make rules in your client for all inbound messages to filter the +TAG emails, so you know exactly what you did with what and when.

I'm genuinely curious now how that works, is there some documentation I could "Devour" to become a master of these "Tricks"? xD

  19. Whichever firearm you were holding before hitting your default "Melee" button, is the firearm you switch to when using your default "Aim" button. And if you press the default "Switch weapons" button to switch back to firearms from melee, you switch to the other one. Ex:

Held primary, used melee, aiming switches back to primary.
Held primary, used melee, switching weapons takes out secondary.
Held primary, held switch weapons to go full melee, aiming doesn't bring back other weapons, and instead manually blocks, using switch weapons, takes out the secondary.

Whichever weapon you last used, going full melee and using switch weapons to get out of full melee always takes out the other weapon.

Think of it as "Switch weapons" applying only to your primary and secondary, your melee is just a toggle (with two toggle modes), and switching weapons toggles off your melee and switches from whatever weapon you were using before melee to the other one.

Hope this clarifies a few things, as there used to be issues with aiming always pulling out primary, regardless of what was used before going melee (which forced you to drop whatever else you were carrying, like datamass, power core, etc), now if you use the scanner, or mining laser, using melee, and aiming brings back last held item.
