  1. I was doing an invasion, supporting Corpus against Infested, Sabotage on a Corpus ship. I tripped the lasers on the two coolant cells and destroyed the cells, put the fuel cell in, hacked the console, broke the... cells(?), and then I was on the blast door part of the mission. I could not go through the door that led towards the blast door console. All other doors worked. I was not on lockdown.

I have several pictures, but this is really the only one that you need. I am standing right next to a closed door, and you can see the inactive security console.

  2. Important bugs:

1.There are no consoles to hack on the extraction tile, so lockdown is permanent if you're on that side.

    2. Itzal's Penumbra ability used my energy for activation but did not make me invisible while I was under water. I don't believe it drained energy either. I think It just turned off immediately.

    Less important:

    3. I got to the end of the map, killing every enemy on the way, and I was still 40 or so short of enough to clear for extraction. This is an issue for some other exterminate missions as well.

    Not really important:

    4. I was able to attack enemies on the other side of the door by putting Wisp close enough to the door and using her 4. It doesn't have punchthrough, I'm pretty sure. I was just able to put Wisp's hand far enough through the door to cast on the other side.

    5. By being that close to the door, I counted as being on the other side of it for the tile I was in, and enemies spawned.

4 and 5 helped me complete the mission.

Below are pictures of the extraction tile that has no consoles, as well as one of me by the door that won't open.

If u use that exploit u won't get any drop except mod, I've tested it 5 times so yeah 🤔, I think it isn't supposed to be that way either

Whatever your opinions are on the use of the exploit, this is straight up false.

Dude tests something with a 1/3 (35%) chance 5 times, gets a negative result 5 times, and then tells us all he's really bad at statistics. The odds that you won't get a drop in 5 runs at 35% chance per run are 11.6%. Those aren't exactly "improbable beyond all reason" numbers.

    I confirm that:

    - You won't get a sledge drop from the "final" wolf if you use this exploit.

    - The "no drop" looks like NOT related to have used the Liset alarm bypass, but for the reason you have not killed the previous mobs as intended.

I confirm these are both false. "Final" Wolf (only real Wolf) drops parts at 35% chance, regardless.

For my part, I never thought of it as an exploit. It is doing what Liset is intended to do... shutting down enemy systems, in this case, to override lockdown doors. But it's also clearly causing weirdness in the mission and making it go faster than intended.

Then someone called it an exploit... and, well, I can see both sides of the argument. However, DE bans for exploits, so I'm going to play it safe from now on, just in case they decide it is an exploit.

  4. Apparently, my post about Wolf of Saturn Six's difficulty has been merged into this thread regarding his appearance rate. I have no idea why.

Regardless, I went into Taranis, Void to do a defense mission (Still on my alt account). I was on public, but no one else joined. Wolf spawned in. I did what I could to deal with all the enemies before taking him on. I then focused on him. He destroyed the defense target before I had whittled down even a fifth of his health.

Thanks, yet again, for the guaranteed failure.

People don't want to learn how to overcome obstacles in this game, they just want to throw little hissy fits to have the obstacles completely removed for them, so they can go back to their "press one button to win" gameplay. There's low MR weps that can still be highly effective against the wolf if you just mod them properly for crit and radiation (vectis for example).

People don't want to pay attention to the topic, they just want to throw a hissy fit about people who don't need advice getting advice in a thread that has nothing to do with advice.

In all due respect trying to help you with the knowledge i use atm :blush:

This is a feedback thread, dude. I was not asking for advice. If you find my feedback erroneous, feel free to explain why.

You also clearly didn't read my post, because I said nothing about not knowing how to beat the Wolf. I indicated that he causes serious problems for low level groups in Defense (on Earth, mind you) and for almost any group in Interception.

I also said I'm on an alt account. I don't put a lot of stock in MR, but since you do, I'm MR27 on my main account. I have 1400 in-mission hours in this game. You can stop "helping" me. Thanks.

    Arcanes

    - Magnus Lockdown -

Operators best friend atm to have against those Fugitives

You put them to sleep for couple sec .mostly more than enough to deal with the wolfs armor+armor+Syclone yes you can do it like the rest of us can

its an hard battle that iam sure of it

but with that arcane you can win an couple sec more, than beeing instant hit by them and beeing unable to catch the wolf

Please, you realize how far into the game you have to be to get that (unless you buy it for plat... even then, you need War Within)? And being forced to equip it to deal with Wolf? Why not suggest I always play as Valkyr, too? Ooh, instead maybe today is the day I really want to play Vauban or Equinox... and tomorrow, and the next day, and the next...

Keeping in mind, of course, that I may not have these frames, and I certainly don't strictly need them for anything else.

Unless you have a suggestion that will work for any collection of players at any time, your input is not addressing the issue.

  8. I've been playing on an alt account, and nearly every time the Wolf has appeared, it has ended in mission failure.

One was a defense in the Dark Sector on Earth. Everybody was too low level to deal with the Wolf, who was level 35-ish, and his minions killed the defense target.

Thank you for the guaranteed failure.

One was an interception with one other player, and he and his minions kept us from capping points until we dealt with them, but since he's super tanky and they're invincible...

Thank you for the guaranteed failure.

Another was an interception fissure with four players, "and he and his minions kept us from capping points until we dealt with them, but since he's super tanky and they're invincible..."

Thank you for the guaranteed failure.

I do love having failures on my record that have nothing to do with my personal ability to complete a mission, but are instead completely RNG.

While I notice he's already been changed due to player feedback, I feel like this points to a larger problem: DO YOU PLAYTEST YOUR GAME? Do you even consider how your actions will affect the players?

Tried him recently, a level 103 on a kuva flood. Can confirm it no longer works. At 92% resistance and 4.4mil hp on a kuva flood survival we had to run.

"It no longer works"? It what? Valkyr's Talons?

Oh they hurt him. They do less damage, but if spec'ed out for radiation damage they hit a pretty good amount. He doesn't take procs so unconventional methods of armor stripping is required, such as Oberon, Mag, or Frost. Even still most frames aren't dps tanks. Rather than be varied and somewhat hazardous like the shadow stalker is and nullify abilities he's a T4 boss fight with even less ways of attacking the player. cc works on him, mostly. He's boring and still too rare and his weapon is rather lackluster.

But what about the "immune to abilities" thing? Is that not the case? Has that stopped being the case? I could have sworn that was established.

  11. @tarfeef:

A group can do more things at once. One person does kuva, one does the mission, two search for caches, as an example. Obviously, I don't have that coordinated with the group, but it'd be nice if, in public, I could at least partially benefit from the value of a group without getting a serious rage-inducing negative.

    @Elvenbane

I have played a fair amount, but I have not noticed this issue.

However, I'm often the host or on my way out with the host, or on my own.

I've left my friend behind a few times, though, and he hasn't had that issue. Maybe it's a PS4 thing?

  12. I just got forced out of a mission because two of the four players didn't want to fight level 140 Wolf of Saturn Six. Sure, that's understandable, since he's trash, but I wanted to stick it out and take him down. Presumably, so did the other guy who stayed. However, because two players didn't want to let us, we got screwed out of it.

I've been forced out of Naeglar, Eris repeatedly while trying to find caches (often the third cache), when the mission is a void fissure or Kuva. And you know what that isn't? Fair. It is, however, extremely aggravating, so if that's what you're going for in your game design, kudos, you did it.

You've already made it possible to extract without your team in Survival and Excavation. Keep going. Let us decide when we want to leave on all missions.

This might raise some complications with, say, Rescue, but I'd just have the Rescue target extract with the first player and let everyone else do their thing. It's no different than staying on a map after Exterminate or Capture is finished.

Killed level 70 Wolf with hysteria with corrosive talons. It took 15 seconds. Kid you not. If I'd have known he was that tough I'd have recorded it.

So, I believed Valkyr's Talons, being exalted weapons, would not hurt Wolf.

However, I was able to hurt him with them today, April 03. My friend thinks he stripped his armor with Oberon. Has he been made vulnerable to abilities?

  14. Wolf of Saturn Six Is a completely trash boss. Quite possibly the worst design I've ever seen in a game that isn't poorly designed across the board (That's not hyperbole). Take away all of the things that make Warframes unique and interesting in offensive combat. Make him ABSURDLY tanky. Take away the ability to strip his armor, other than with Shattering Impact or Corrosive Projection, and even if you do that he's still stupidly tanky.
What they've effectively done is go, "oh, I have an idea for a boss! Let's have one with a ton of HP so he's hard to kill! I bet we'll be the first ones in history to have this ground-breaking idea! But wait, Warframes or Slash can make that trivial. That's okay, we'll just stop them from doing anything!"
This is the laziest way to make a boss. Hands down. It doesn't help that armor's damage reduction has been broken for years.
And yes, there are some ways around it. As an example, Rhino's roar providing a damage buff would help, but does that mean I need to bring Rhino on every mission, just in case of Wolf making his 1 in 200 (as a pure guess at his spawn chance) appearance? Also bring a radiation weapon (or four) and a Shattering Impact melee. Make sure your kit isn't centered around status-related damage, mind you, because how dare you try to customize your loadout to your liking in our game which expressly gives you the opportunity to customize your loadout to your liking?

I just fought a level 140 Wolf (Kuva Flood), and got forced out of the mission by two of the players who refused to even give me or the other player a chance to fight him.

I should mention that, at level 140, he was able to SHRED my Nezha. Two Arcane Guardians, Adaptation, Health Conversion, Magus Repair and Elevate on my operator. I had 100k Warding Halo at one point after absorbing some of his damage. It was gone in less than 10 seconds.

This has all probably all been said, but I just needed to rant, and hey, it's another voice for DE.
