My dojo has been an evolving project over the past five years. The main goal was to create a dojo that was efficient for its members but still invoke creativity and wonder. It's always a joy to have new people explore the halls and I want everyone to have that chance.

Rewards would go towards expediting the construction of a space commune:

I had the same problem but i found out what it was causing it at least on my side.
    My warframe

Aperantly your warframe has an area where u can't place anything near. On the grander hall, i had to be on the right side of the room to place anything on the left side and vice versa.
Try it and see if it is that

This was the problem! Thank you

I still think placement should be fix so where you're standing doesn't affect placement.

  2. With the new decorations I was excited to add them to my dojo. I found however that a lot of decoration placement is not possible, requiring most to be above a certain height. I noticed how one of my trees was off the ground, when I tried to replace it I was unable to place it anywhere on the ground.

  3. With the current grid system there are cases where there is enough space for placement, but the system will not allow rooms that will fit. The provided picture demonstrates how the gird lies and the space where I would like to put a reactor, but currently I am only able to add most labs, a short hall, L and T connectors and an elevator.

  4. Today I entered my dojo to do fund research, and found I had forgotten to place a statue. When I was trying to place the statue, it rotated to face in relation of my warframe. This change will make it near impossible to line up decorations in the dojo and I hope it is addressed in an upcoming update.

  5. I think DE has been planning to implement this eventually. If you look outside, what started as a big version of the Tigris, has turned into a dock that has been evolving to fit more landing craft types.

  6. Of my over 500 hours of gameplay, I have used Loki 51% of the time. I find myself using each of his powers consistently, but the most underwhelming is radial disarm. Currently it works quite literally, all enemies within a radius lose their ranged weapons. My idea for a power rework could add a new edge to the master of ruse.

What if instead of simply disarming enemies in a radial blast indefinitely, it became an effect on all enemies within Loki's power range for a set duration. Mods would effect duration and power range. New utility could also be added with the power affecting the Infested, possibly a rooting effect or a speed debuff.

Loki is one of the original Warframes, but most of his power reworks have been visual or underlying tweaks. With his Primed version on it's way, why not give one of the older frames a bit of the Orokin Buffer.

  7. I have rebuilt my personal dojo three times, because of this I was able to create new and better systems each time. Before the release of U13 I rebuilt from the starting clan hall, and have created my best design to date. But if DE come up with better dojo management, I would be more than willing to start from scratch, with all of the resources and plat I used to create the previous dojo.

  8. I believe with the major updates to come, this will be integrated in the game. On the last Dev Stream they talked about "little birds" that bring up UI elements in a hologram. I'm hoping that after player ships are shipped, DE will put some focus on Dojos.

  9. After seeing the latest Dev Stream I decided I had to completely tear down my personal dojo, down to the first two halls and my reactor floor. With all the resources sitting in my vault until Wednesday I also thought I should invest in some decorations, even creating a challenge for people to attempt.

I already have plans on how I'm going to implement the observatory, as well as the various labs, dueling rooms, and obstacle course. The new gardens look great and I can't wait to implement them in the dojo, I think this update will finally turn the dojo into a more prominent part of the game.

Who else has started to change their dojo for U13? I'd also like to see how others decorate their clan's or personal space.

  10. ((I originally posted this on the Dojo Feedback section but thought it would get more traffic here. If a mod wants to move/edit/delete either of my posts I understand.))

    Overview:

The obstacle course is one of the two current "activity" rooms, but it has seen little to no rework since its implementation. It also a very unsocial aspect of the dojo, with no ability to view the full course unless running through it. My suggestion is to allow for modular building of the obstacle course to create a new form of play content, as well as an observation deck to allow others to view the techniques the players utilize to traverse the course.

    Modular Building:

Currently the obstacle course is a static room. If it was possible to implement current and possibly new obstacles through a modular system, new life would be brought to this room.

    Above:

I simple layout for an obstacle course that can use modular building (within current room size). The modules could range in size from one to four "lengths". Modules could be completely encased to avoid exploits and feature windows or cameras to allow a view from the observation deck.

    Observation Deck:

A large area with windows or screens adorning the walls. This space could also hold decorations unlike the current room.

    From Floor to Deck:

With an observation deck above, an elevator could lead up from the entrance.

    Conclusion:

The obstacle course has been lacking all the other updates to the dojo. With a modular system, more excitement could be brought into this space. There are many other ideas that could be incorporated with this concept (multiple runners/betting/using powers) but a new base system needs to be implemented first.
