  1. The Helios Deconstructor, targeting and scanning drivers were still intact and updated. But its components were damaged, with fried circuitry, overloaded shield generators, clouded optics, low capacity batteries and heavily-battered hull. Some parts could be maintained, but a replacement for most of the components was in order. Fortunately, the Night Market was home to numerous electronics and hardware stores that were bound to have expansive stocks of spare parts.

Pulling out a ceramic data-pad from her pocket, Keya ran a diagnostic of the sentinel and drew up a list of the components required to repair the bot, and set out to find a robotic components vendor.

  2. Happy at sealing what he saw as a good deal, the vendor gladly handed the Sentinel over. The Sentinel beeped weakly as the vendor turned it on briefly to reset its ownership details and memory. A new slate for a new owner. With another soft, stuttering beep, the Sentinel powered off once more.

With the immense popularity of robotic labourers in the Night Market, the station had no lack of engineers capable in servicing robots, and several warehouses full of spare parts. Fixing the Sentinel wouldn't be hard, if credits are provided. One would wonder why the Night Market Hangar robot attendants still looked so run-down and battered, but the management seemed to feel that their war-damaged frames added to their charm.

Keya Packed the sentinel into it's new porto-locker and waved goodbye to the vendor. "Now then," She said to the damaged robot. "Let's get you patched up."

Across the boulevard, in the firing range of one of the freelance armouries, Sadarus was testing out some of the weapons on stock. He had in his hands a rare Tenno-made rifle, somewhat unfitting for a Corpus station. He was testing a Soma, a high-calibre Tenno rifle that was specifically designed for armour penetration. And he liked what he saw.

  4. "This pile of salvage?" the vendor asked, a little surprised at her apparent interest. "You can take him off my hands for 6000 credits, that's including his Deconstructor weapon drivers. His programming seems a little faulty though, and writing drivers isn't my field of expertise."

He hesitated a little, then added. "And uh, yeah his optics and batteries aren't working all that well to be honest. Well, that's why I'm offering it to you for such a fantastic price."

"I'll take it, then. All he needs is a bit of tender love and care." Keya reached into her pocket for the payment. "I'll fix him up."

Along with the sentinel, Keya bought a metal case to store it in. She was silently ecstatic, because she knew that Helios sentinels could scan areas for information, so she related to the robot. She had always been smarter than her brother, Sadarus. Where he enjoyed blowing things up, she enjoyed building and learning. So, this sentinel was a perfect match for her inquisitive mind.

  6. "Here you go, miss!" the cheerful vendor said as she placed a bun in her hands. The Arcadia Night Market was located in the orbit of Mars, its proximity to Earth meant that several trading vessels stopped here to sell produce that grew only on Earth's lush tropical climate. As such, the Market was a prime location to sell food products at lower prices, whereas other locations in the system had to pay higher prices or make do with nutrition goop space food.

"I've never had a bun before, I'm so used to the dry nutritional food we have to eat in space, because it doesn't spoil..." Keya thought to herself. She flicked a chip containing 50 credits onto the stall's work-surface. "Thank you!" She said, and walked away, pulling pieces of the bun off and eating them. She looked over to the other side of the market, towards the arms dealers. She hoped to spot Sadarus there, but he was nowhere to be seen. She walked over, and saw a stall with a sign above it saying: "Animatronics and Arms". She browsed the wears, and noticed a piece of gear that attracted her undivided attention. She had seen a Helios class Sentinel, Corpus by design, deactivated and gathering dust behind a range of Moa parts.

"How much for the scanner sentinel?" She asked the keeper of the stall.

  7. Several stalls offering specialty snacks from all over the system lined the streets, their aromas whetting the appetites of all who passed. Sweet, savoury, sour or bitter, the Night Market's variety promised to cater to every taste.

At the other end of the Market area stood secure armouries and hardware stores. These were typically run by dealers or retired war veterans, and counted on the Night Market's traffic to procure and vend their goods. Armament trade in the Night Market was also less restricted and regulated than in other civillian colonies, so more devastating and heavy pieces of hardware and explosive ordinance could be traded here.

Keya sniffed around, wishing she could have a sample of everything on the stalls. She wandered through the market, and noticed a small stall selling sweet buns dusted with what looked and smelled like Terran Cinnamon, bark from the cinnamon trees found in Earth's expansive forests, and supposedly a delicacy to humans far before the innovation of cloning. The inquisitive Nyx decided to buy one such bun, to try an ancient human delicacy.

  8. A pair of Tenno operatives, a brother and sister by the names of Sadarus and Keya, were scouting a nearby Grineer facility when the pod hit the ground. Keya, a red-and-white Nyx with a Vectis sniper rifle and Lex pistol, shifted in her perch atop a large rock.

"You hear that?" A gruff voice spoke through her comm.

"Yeah, I heard it. Sadarus, I just received from orders from the Lotus to check it out." Keya holstered her rifle and jumped to the foot of the rock she was on and began making her way to the waypoint.

"I'm already there." Sadarus said, silently smirking beneath his Rhino's helmet.

When Keya arrived, she saw Sadarus waiting, leaning on the trunk of a long dead tree. He was a tall and muscular Tenno, who wore a green-and-white Rhino Warframe, with a Vanguard helmet in place of the standard helm. In his hands he held a long Gorgon machine gun, and a pair of Stiletto sub-machine guns hung at his hips.

    "You ready to rock?"

  9. So, after all their (mis)adventures aboard the Crimson Melody, a Tenno reconnaissance craft, Tenno siblings Sadarus and Keya found themselves in the hangar bay of a large cruiser, The Crucible. Sadarus, a tall, muscular and hotheaded Tenno, wore his Rhino Warframe with pride as they made their way through The Crucible's corridors. Walking next to him was his sister, Keya. A shorter and more intellectual warrior, Keya wore a Nyx Warframe and looked uneasy about the entire situation.

"I don't know why you're worried," Said Sadarus. "The Lotus wants to know if this 'Crucible' thing is a potential threat, so we're performing recon on the ship and it's functions."

"Yes, but I don't understand why we have to take part." Keya said, obviously thinking out a better plan.

"Look, the higher-ups want intel, I want to show how fearsome Tenno can be without having a warrant for my arrest floating around the system." Sadarus smiled under his Vanguard helmet. "Win-win, right?"

"I can negotiate my way out of a room full of rabid Kubrows, but I can't win an argument with my own rock-for-brains brother..." She grumbled to herself.

((sorry if I'm out of format, I'm new to thread RP))

  10. A helpful crewman had already taken it upon himself to perform the refuelling process. He waved the ship's pilots toward the Hangar exits, where the various facilities of the Night Market awaited them. He pointed to an Osprey attendant, who understood its directive to lead their guests out of the Hangar.

The two Tenno followed the Osprey to the main plaza of the station, and Keya looked in awe at the glass dome above their heads.

"You have to admit, Corpus architecture is beautiful in it's own way." She said, pondering on the design of the building in which they stood.

"So, the plan is the same as before, right?" Sadarus reminded her. "You go and pick up food and medical supplies, and I'll go and restock our munitions caches." He said, aching to leave the Corpus airspace.

"It wouldn't hurt to look around a bit," Keya pointed out. "I'm sure there are some things you could find interesting here."

Sadarus looked patronizingly at her, and she blushed. "You just want to admire the 'architecture' don't you?" He asked, and she blushed more. "Fine. I'll be in one of the munitions stores of you need me." He waved down an Osprey, and followed it to the only place he could feel at home: surrounded by explosives, blades and guns.

Keya looked around, suddenly noticing she was all alone now. "I suppose I'd better find something to do for the while. That maniac won't want to leave the stores when he gets there." She thought as she looked around, and noticed a boulevard of restaurants and cafés, lined with automated greeting boards. "It's a start..." She meandered down the road, looking for something to do.

  11. "Affirmative, captain. Proceed to landing pad 4 to dock at the Hangar."

A tugship covered with neon lights helped to direct the reconnaissance vessel to the landing pad zone, its illumination flashing bright red in warning to a cruiser that began to wander dangerously close. The landing pads were made to receive smaller vessels, though in times of congestion, they were also used to service cruisers, command vessels, freighters and battleships.

A crane lowered the landing pad to a garage as the ship docked, its course directed by a waving crewman. A cargo MOA was already waiting there with a sled of cells and liquid fuel.

"Much appreciated." Keya said, ending the transmission. "Come on, Sadarus. Strip your Waframe and put on some normal clothes. We may as well enjoy ourselves while we're here." She said, heading into her quarters to change.

Sadarus hauled his large body up from the command chair and strolled into his own quarters. After a minute, both of them emerged, dressed in traditional Tenno garments. Sadarus was holstering a silver Lato in his coat pocket.

"Do you have to bring that?" Keya asked, worried what the hotheaded Rhino was planning.

"Don't worry, sister. We're on a Corpus-controlled station, and we can't be too careful. I'm just bringing something in case some Moa tries to pull anything funny. I promise not to kill anyone." Sadarus replied, slipping in a magazine and pulling back the slide.

"That's reassuring..." Keya thought to herself, before they left the ship through the cargo ramp to meet the Moa and stow the the fuel.

  12. A sleek ship of Tenno design moved gradually towards the hangar bay of the Arcadia Station.

"Ugh. I still don't see why we have to come here of all places. We could have gone to Tharsis or even Augustus instead. At least they have cold drinks there. That pigswill they serve at Arcadia is warm." A tall and muscular Tenno grumbled, the white accents on his Rhino Warframe's helmet gleaming as it sat on the control panel.

"Sadarus, I told you. We have to pick up fuel and supplies here if we're going to make it back to the clan's ship. Now let me make this transmission." A slim woman, donning a Nyx Warframe, replied in contempt. She tapped away at the holographic projections of buttons and dials, and a short buzz of static began her message. "This is Captain Keya of The Crimson Melody Tenno Reconnaissance Vessel to Arcadia Night Market Station. We are requesting permission to land and resupply. How copy?"

Sadarus grunted in complaint at the uncomfortable silence between the request and response.
