  1. Alright, now for Volt.

This speed buff drop and having teammates to pick the drop seems.. silly. I don't understand the reason behind it, other than people not wanting to have the skill in the first place and complained about motion sickness. Why not stick to the speed being range casted and such, like before? I understand that it's simple enough for the teammates to pick the orb up, but like say people would not be able to find the orb because.. well, the orb could be dark coloured. Maybe someone put a dark coloured energy for their Volt? Some people use black as their energy sometimes, but now people using Volt would have to use a bright colour for their energy now?

Also, why restricting Volt's Ultimate in where we can't cast it in the air? Previously, we could cast it in the air just fine but with this rework, we couldn't in the end. I would prefer that we could cast the ultimate in the air, if DE doesn't mind.

Other than that, I think the rework for the shield and everything else are fine. Nevertheless, DE, thanks for the work and just hope you'll listen and consider everybody's feedbacks.

  2. So.. let me get this straight. You went ahead and reworked some abilities for four different warframes, but DE went ahead and did a change with Trinity's Blessing as well? Limiting the range for Blessing seems.. very restricting. Even more with the new formula to calculate the damage resistance.. Just imagine if someone bring a Rhino Prime or a Valkyr, maybe an Inaros whose health would not go down that much, but their health is calculated in as the average tenno health within the whole squad itself.

Imagine having to do LoR with this recent trinity change.. I tried it actually, and it was a nightmare. And we were going for the normal LoR. I can't imagine the pain for the players wanting to JV or even the nightmare version.

    Ouch.

If you want to limit the blessing range in some way, at the very least let us put range mods in our builds to increase the range of Blessing to affect our teammates if we have to. Also, revert back to the old formula, since I really don't see a problem with the old formula for Blessing whatsoever. At this point, it seems like it's either we bring Trinity for solo play, or bring Oberon for being a better healer at this point.

At this point, me being disappointed is an understatement.

Decided to try my luck here, and noticed on how the female Warframes are getting more love, as in making them humanized, so I decided to try with Frost here. And yes, I purposely made him a blonde, and with blue eyes. >__>; That was my perception of Frost anyways.

  4. The mechanics of World on Fire haven't changed at all, they just updated the animation to be less hideous...

Uh, no. The explosion only attacks like a small area where one enemy was standing and surrounding it. The old WoF hits enemies within the range around the user. Had you actually play an Ember and check WoF for yourself? It definitely had changed, and even more on that even the DE had stated on the change on WoF for Ember.

  5. Wow, I'm actually pleasantly surprised of the very quick change to the elemental table. Better than the previous one, but eh.. Definitely need more adjustment and I would still had preferred the first Damage 2.0. But this would do, I guess? Eh.

I know I had forgotten to add something to my previous post. I also would like to ask is... Is it possible to get Ember Ultimate, as in World of Fire, back to its original mechanics and visual effects? I don't really understand on the whole, oh fountain shooting out, and mostly just killing one enemy per fountain shoot when I have multiple of enemies surrounding me. Eh, it makes me wonder on why the need have to nerf Ember's Ultimate when you just only introduced Ember Prime?

And, Ignis energy. Goodbye to coloured flames of doom, since the flames follow the elemental mods on the weapon.

Still, thank you so very much, DE, for hearing us out on some parts and quickly doing hotfixes for us all. Need some adjustments here and there, but definitely appreciated nevertheless.

  6. I actually wonder on how many of the posters here actually check the Damage 2.0 table in Warframe Wikipedia and see the new elemental damage there?

But anyways, it takes a lot for me to come to the forums with a post that shows my disappointment when it comes to an update. I had been playing this game for more than a month, and was introduced with Damage 1.0 previously. It took me a while to get used to Damage 2.0 but I adapted myself to the change. What I didn't like is that, I had been reading the forum posts and seeing that there wasn't really a direct saying on that some things had been changed. The only reason we know was that, some people checked in the Codex and noticed that Infested now is more weaker towards Radiation than Heat.

This new Damage 2.0 is extremely confusing, and it doesn't help that Corpus Crewman has shields and flesh. Do you expect me to use a primary weapon that is magnetic to take away the shield, and then change to a secondary with different elemental damage alltogether to tackle the flesh category? I also don't understand on the reduction on the Slash damage, when most melee weapons have high Slash.

The previous Damage 2.0 was more simpler, easier to understand and made sense. Now, I feel, you had destroyed a rather good system to begin with. Definitely, this new elemental table needs some great adjustment and some briefing.

And also, from what I'm seeing, the XP had dwindled quite a bit now as well?

I have to mention also that I'm not really too happy with the Infested now only being available through these kind of invasions. The thing is that, most people would just rush it to just complete the requirement to gain the prize. It doesn't help that we have to do 5 times, including survivals or defense missions. I do think the invasion is a unique idea and appreciate it nevertheless, as well as understanding on why the DEs want to introduce this idea; also being aware that this is mostly just introduced and they do want some feedback for it.

I enjoy this game a lot, but it saddens me quite a bit that this being the first time that I feel disappointment for an update. I can accept the Infested invasions, though I would miss playing in Mimas and doing long survivals there, or even Xini and Phalan. But the new Damage 2.0 needs readjustment, and the DEs need to ask themselves on what they were trying to accomplish here. Just want to add though, that I do appreciate what the DEs are doing, and I really can see the passion and drive and so much effort they put into this game, and yes, this game is still in Beta. But we can definitely voice out our opinions nevertheless, and I shared mine.
