hey all!
update, with sketch I'm working on these days :)
Excalibur holding hm... either Fragor or something similarly badass is my idea so far.
I intend to use MyPaint from start to finish on this one just to see how much this software can.
Cheers!

Plus, you can always head to fan art section and ask people who post there if they could help you visualize your ideas- such cooperation will be beneficial both for you and for artist.

It has punch through of obstacles on a full charge (railings, grineer shields, etc.) but doesn't seem to go through enemies to hit other enemies. Don't have Seeking Force to try that with it (charged and uncharged). I recall someone talking about the projectiles only lasting through one bounce and disappearing on the second object they hit so maybe that's part of it.
I use it with both Acc Blast and Seeking Force- spam-firing without charging kills whole waves of enemies going directly trough them, when enemies run in a row, I noticed i could kill up to 4 of them, including shield lancers. That is observation made on the move, it's likely that I was shooting angled in relation to their advance so pellets with gun's high spread might have covered whole area rather than just punch through soldiers one by one.
In any way- modded for puncture Drakgoon is really great for clearing whole groups

I really dig Sobek, forma'ed it twice already, great RoF, tho bit slow on reload with default 20 cartridge clip
Drakgoon is also fun weapon, it struggles a bit at first levels but then is made of awesome, especially with pellet count and punch trough mods :)

Doh... Next time I'll leave writing essays for when new waves start :/
This should be covered in tutorial :P

Hey!
On Friday or Saturday I was playing infestation defense as Vauban and something weird happened.
During countdown when you choose whether you stay or go, I checked "battle", opened chat window, and wrote to guys I was playing with that after those 5 waves I will have to quit. Real life, etc. When I finished writing, I hit enter, saw one of guys writing "sure" and bam: mission complete! :/ Haven't touched mouse and directional keys on keyboard, so I am almost 100% sure I haven't changed my choice, yet game decided I chose to exit mission.
I am puzzled, was angry with myself and embarrassed because it was entirely not okay with my team (one guy was relatively new, asking questions, had to revive him once), rest was more experienced, but it turns out I put them at the risk of loosing the mission, without me ever wanting to do that.
Is this some kind of bug I didn't know existed, or did I do something wrong and there's some key-combo that can switch my choice like that?
Best regards

what is booben
baby don't hurt me
don't hurt me
no more

I feel like every time I use it I should be typing an apology to people in squad chat
During defense I ask if anyone experienced lag due to vortex- if yes I try not to use it (if no i spam additional 4 and repeat question :P ). Seriously tho, I give warning before casting whenever I can.

ZT0100- thank you for feedback!
I realize it's far from perfect but I'm at experimenting stage and this build works fine so far. I don't use Shuriken almost at all and rarely use teleport but don't have anything better to replace them with, so they stay for now. I'm trying to max out duration without trading it for power efficiency/strength, so I'm using flow to make energy pool big enough for SS spam. This is most definitely not a build for higher levels but I'm not there yet...

yup, well I wouldn't throw players too much premium content for rewards, DE has to make money to keep this game rolling, but treat everything I wrote strictly as ideas, rather than well balanced list of well thought-out content

No, completed Cicero and missed both Dilemma and hunt for Alad V :P

Hello everyone!
I often have mixed feelings about topics suggesting DE to do/add/fix something and I certainly don't like rants, but heck, here I am, writing my idea. Hell, I feel bad right now :).
I really like Oxium event idea, it made me do something else than usual waiting for infestation outbreaks and survivals, I started doing solo missions in Sedna for fun of it and to get some of that new resource. Here's a thing: I would like to get distracted like that more often!
I played Guild Wars 2 and World of Tanks a lot, and while in GW2 most events are pretty massive updates, in WoT there are many small weekly/biweekly events that make players either use specific machine more, complete certain tasks or simple discounts in stores.
I don't know if that is hard to implement and how much work would such small event system demand, but posting some ideas probably won't hurt, so here goes:
Promotions/discounts:
-"midweek madness-que" platinum discounts - irregular promotions, lasting 24h
-in store discounts for components/blueprints/modpacks etc. - again irregular, lasting 24h for couple items
Tasks with rewards:
*eliminate given targets (e.g. Grineer are boosting their ranks of Bombards, kill 50 to maintain balance)
*eliminate faction command chain (e.g. disrupt faction operations in Sol System by killing their commanders)
*complete massive raids on enemy force (e.g. complete 10/20 20minute survivals against given faction)
*gather data for research (e.g. get rare resources in given amount/ complete given amount of mobile def missions)
Tasks could last from couple hours to couple days (5-7 max for most demanding) and upon completion grant rewards:
-rare/uncommon mod/rare cores
-affinity/credit booster
-badges - referring to killing certain enemy
-plat discounts
-rare resources/components
-researched tech- e.g. Fieldron
-credits
Rewards aren't meant to be big or very sophisticated, those tasks are strictly linked with what you already do ingame, often you can complete them by just playing, not necessarily focusing on job at hand, while other tasks while simple will require that you start doing something out of your normal routine.
Any feedback, yes/no, would you like such little things added to the game?
Best regards!

chaotea got it mostly covered, as Volt you are very energy-dependant. energy shield is very useful in defenses against corpus/grineer. Best to keep distance and spam #1 from behind shield for stuns and use some fast firing weapon with big clip to kill enemies fast
-
Dera is overkill and very efficient ammo-wise if you use it like Twin Wraith Vipers- short click, 3-4 energy "bullets" out, scan for next target. Serration, Shred, Metal Auger, some elementals and it's your basic setup. Rifle Ammo mutation isn't required if you keep it calm, tho I'd recommend it for longer missions, like survivals/defenses- at some point enemies tend to get ammo hungry and you don't have that much time for careful aiming anymore :)
Supra... I formad supra second time now, and before you get it to level 15 or so, and slap on some mods it can be pain. I like it though, once maxed it really is a monster. especially in narrow corridors and metal auger. I have a feeling though, that it's projectiles travel bit slower than Dera's. Or maybe it's low accuracy that kicks in on longer distances- it's best to use on shorter distances and have secondary with decent accuracy for long distance engagements- I use Aklex.

I'm running around with those mods:
I forma'd Ash 2 times and they fit in there, 4 forma build like that is aesthetically pleasing tho :) Basically i spam Smoke Screen most if the time, sometimes helping myself with teleport to get closer fast. Bladestorm seems useless outside of solo missions
-
Booben! I would drop bastilles on cars and vortex in overcrowded metro, and I would use bounce to get to high places to roast pigeons with teslas! :)
-
i don't have to lower my settings yet, but I noticed increase in situations where my fps drop. I keep my OS and hardware clean, frequently check for errors, and don't install crapload of software which runs in background, so my bet is on game itself getting slowly "deoptimized"
-
Also, you could stay a bit longer on Mercury and repeatedly kill Vor with other players- he drops some blueprints that you can sell for roughly 3000 creds each- assasinations don't take long to finish so you would have plenty of BPs to sell after hour of "farming".
-
Vauban's clown shoes are worse ;)
-
When you unlock couple of planets, like Venus, Earth, Mars, maybe few missions into saturn/phobos or so you'll start being able to participate in infestation missions- factions you're helping will give you 20-30 thousand credit rewards for completing each node after infestation ends- for me it was first time I started making some "real" money, since if you're lucky you can get 80-100k creds per infested system.

The only game I had hard times running on Windows 8/8.1 was Dark Souls but from what I've read and heard everyone on Windows had issues and problems running it. Never had any problems with win updates messing my config. Most of my games are installed through Steam, WoT and Warframe being only titles I downloaded separately and didn't link to steam. Direct X11 runs without problems, same as 64bit mode.
I guess majority of issues are more linked to hardware configuration rather than OS itself
-
Got Win 8.1 x64, works well for me- never crashed, never had any issues. That said I can't enable PhysX, but that's as far as I know issue with SLI graphics rather than OS fault
-
Stun might be too much, IMHO, but I think you should be able to stagger multiple enemies if you teleport into cluster- that way you have "headstart" over those pesky shield lancers but it doesn't compete with your smoke screen.
That said I really think Ash could use some rebalancing- he is good solo but at least one of his abilities could add some more CC into mix- maybe darts which aren't quite useful now could discharge something to overheat weapons for a short time in small area- that would make this Frame even more fun as he could cripple ranged units

running same res and display size here- i haven't logged yet, but from what you showed, it looks okey to me, I find it easier to locate needed info. Plus what F3llyn said- with ui bit more centered it will be even better
