I hate clans that do this. And before you yell at me, let me tell you why.
You are promoting people to be LEADERS, to set an example for everyone. Sure, they can be good players, but the main skill you are looking for in a leader is, well, leadership. Testing how well they can use a melee weapon is utterly useless. Testing how fast their computer is compared to other people is ideally all you are doing. Promote people based on how well they organize clan members for events, recruit new players, and treat newcomers.
But then again, what do I know? -
What the duck is a jewel? I don't see any diamond necklaces in game.

You could do that yourself... I mean. They aren't going to add a feature for something not everyone wants, and you could just make yourself.

It annoys me too. After spending resources on assuring that we could maintain our tier ranking, and building and planning new halls, now up to 500 capacity of excess, the rules change again, and we need to find some other place to put these barracks. Blech. DE, pick one rule and stick with it.

I would just like to see the emblem appear in more locations. I mean, for 150 platinum I would hope it would have a larger role than it does currently. I would love to see it on banners, on flags, on holograms, the works. But I know that it is unlikely. Maybe when they add the new layout for dojos they were talking about in the livestream.

There are a suprising amount of uses for something like this, and I already know exactly where I would build it. Good thinking. Bump.

The equivalent of a skate park kinda thing. Where every parkour move can be done and tested, but its up to you how you wanna go about it.

Now before you get ahead of me, no this is not like most other lab suggestions. I have read through the forums many times, and seen plenty of ideas for labs, like sentinel labs, or orokin labs.
But this lab has an added feature.
We've all been plagued with the unfortunate clutter that is random bits of prime weapons that we cannot use because well, they are duplicates. Obnoxious little odds and ends that waste inventory and serve no purpose after completing their blueprint. So let's give them a purpose
This lab, instead of others, would require the bits and bobs of extra prime weapons we have collected, to be smelted down into raw research material. A bar could associate the amount of parts donated in the lab, with each bit, giving a certain amount of raw research based on the rarity of the bit. So let's say a Fang Prime blade is worth more research than a Latron Prime stock. Ect. Ect.
Now what would you research with this raw orokin tech?
Sure, we would love some more Prime items in game, but I think those need to be more exclusive, if you ask me.
The prime reward (ha, bad pun, don't hurt me) for this scrapped orokin gear would be the ability to research void keys. In retrospect, you are trading your extra equipment to craft a random void key. These keys could have a chance to be higher tier based on the amount of raw research you put into them, and then the key its self could take plenty of orokin cells.
What Benefits this will have:
* Players with a large amount of extra bits can donate those bits into the "raw research pool" which other players could use to power up their void keys, and craft some of their own.
*It would give another Free To Play option to void keys, because RNG God knows how much platinum has been wasted on T1 exterminates. And as they are now, void keys are intimidating to new players.
*Add more benefit to clans, and a reason to join them, as they could create a key generation.
*Possibly in the future, if any prime weapons are added to the research list, they could go in this lab.
This was my food for thought that I came up with after looking at the sheer number of Paris Prime strings I have. Feel free to bump and vote if you found this interesting, or add your own ideas.

Destroying rooms doesn't refund the materials. Canceling them when they are building does.
Having a moon level clan locks you at a moon level clan, as confirmed by Rebecca, it is currently a permanent decision to upgrade your clan through the great halls.
Resources will still be the same. -

So, after having our clan insignia approved, and added to the game, confirmed by the account page, the hologram projector is now not showing anything. I wanted to know if any other clans were having this problem, because all members of ours are having issues.

Did approved clan emblems make it in yet?

I will try to answer with what I've gathered from asking similar questions.
The insignia you can put on in your warframe customization menu (the same place you put on different heads). They sit on your shoulder, and project either a white lotus symbol if you don't have a clan emblem, or your clan emblem.
To upload a clan emblem, you must be a warlord. Then go to your account information on the warframe website (not the forums). It should be pretty obvious from there. They take a long time to get approved though, and even when they are approved, which mine was, they will not be implemented until next hotfix or update.

They clearly stated it can ONLY be a .PNG file.

Also, what is up with charging every member 30 plat to use the emblem you payed 150 plat to add? Where does the cost come from for members, when the work is already done? If anything, a member's clan emblem should be a BP you have to make just like the Clan Key.
I agree with this to a large extent, however, my idea is slightly different. I agree that the clan emblem projector should be free, and added to a members dojo upon joining the clan, or, say, being promoted to soldier.
However, if DE still wants to make some extra money, they could make a larger, more professional looking display of the emblem. Examples of such, being clan tabards in WoW, or clan capes in Runescape. Maybe, some sort of clan head? Or a half cape? Something of the such.

I don't think people realize the amount of work these emblems are going to take. Programming each individual emblem for each clan is a long process, esp considering they have to manually screen each emblem too. The coding involved with this is pretty complex so the price and wait is understandable if you knew how much work went into coding and programming video games, which is A LOT.
This guy has the right idea. You know why they charge you? Because they are making a game. If it bothers you, then don't buy a clan emblem. The clan emblems are for clans who want them enough so that they will pay for them. To incorporate 1000 emblems that people paid to have added? Thats hard as hell. To incorporate a few million that lower tiered clans add because it's free? Impossible.
I am a little upset however that the lack of feedback with the approval system. Yes I understand it takes time, but some sort of more information would be nice. I sent mine in within the first hour, and nothing has changed on its status. I would like some sort of updates, such as "Your emblem is in the approval stage" Or "Your emblem is in the development stage" or "Your emblem has been uploaded!"

If I may rant a little bit, I'll give you my input that I have always had.
A holographic table, that projects a 3 dimensional map in the air, but when walked up to, and access, displays a drag-able, multi floored layout of the entire dojo, complete with hover over to see names of rooms. This seems so necessary, and yet not that difficult to implement. Get on it DE.

Also why are their no long hallways or normal hallways, only small.
That too, we have spent sooooo much on small hallways just because we needed to extend further than something would allow. Often stacking multiple small hallways ontop of one another. Makes the place more cluttered than is necessary.

The only flaw with your kick player refund idea would be that, while you cant demolish the rooms the clan has created, because that would cause major issues, that means your resources would be duplicated. And that, could be very quickly exploited.
I advise you to contact support, because yeah, thats a pretty $&*^baggery thing to do. But you've done everything you can for now.

That is exactly why I made this thread. I don't want connectors to be free, I just don't want them to require a rare drop resources that you farm up a key to even have a shot at getting the BP and then have to craft.
I agree with this fully.
We have a wide array of hallways to connect to all the important rooms DE has added, stunting construction by making a simple hallways cost as much as they do, is ridiculous. A small hallway, that takes up maybe a 1/30th of a clan hall, should not be almost equal to said hall in resource costs. Especially a resource as specific as Forma.

When I try to place koi ponds on the wall they are not flush with it but will be skewed to an angle. No matter how much I rotate it the angle will remain the same. This happens more often when I make the pond large.
I believe the problem here is that you are trying to place a koi pond... on a wall...
Clearly they are meant for ceilings.

i guessed that but i don't want to sent stuff in blind, you can if you like but if the don't like it there time and your plat are wasted.
They also said no copyrighted material other than warframe copyrights, so you're fine if you have a lotus symbol. However, to give you some insight, I sent in our request for approval last night, a completely 100% original design, and have heard absolutely nothing back. I would hope that if they reject an idea, they would refund the platinum.

It is possible. We just did it. However note that the first elevator cannot be destroyed unless you destroy the entire top floor. The second elevator however connects fine.
