  1. Honestly I think the abilities like this are a good combination

    1. Cleanse

    2. Reap (can be applied to Spectral Avatar, but only if activated before hand)

    3. Soul Pull (If an enemy has had cleanse cast on it, this does extra damage to that enemy)

    4. Spectral Avatar (If an enemies soul is out of its body scythe does an automatic critical for 2X damage on that enemy)

  2. I was thinking, for his 4th

Spectral Avatar: Anima's spectral force expands past his Warframe taking the form a Giant Wraith with a giant scythe for a duration 12/14/16/18sec. Slow attack and movement speed, large attack radius(Effected by ability rank-size of Wraith, not range). The Giant Wraith Hits with 500/600/750/900 slash damage 100% proc (175/210/262.5/315 damage per tick).

    Thoughts?

I like it! Will add it as an alternate in a bit.

  3. Not sure about the other abilities, but Reap makes a lot of sense, considering it's the Grineer he's most geared towards (because he's vowed vengeance on them). I think the other abilities could use a bit more synergy, but I haven't thought too long on them.

I could always edit the story a bit. It wasn't that I was meaning for him to be geared towards grineer but that was just my initial idea. I didn't think a grineer/corpus/infested ambush would make much sense. But if he is gonna be mainly geared towards grineer than yeah. Any ideas on this?

  4. Ok I get it light some people souls on fire! Scrap what I said before then. Be nice if something synergies with Nekros soul punch.

I was just thinking straight up mechanics I wasn't considering the lore.

If you check the updated alternative abilities soul pull might be something that could work well with nekros's soul punch. Assuming Nekros got a bonus if their soul is out of their body.

  5. Thanks man,

For his 2nd (I love the name btw), its a little like rift walk, so as a idea... perhaps, it could be a defensive version of desecrates... instead of raising items from the grave, you summon sprites that spin around you (and allies?), reducing damage based on the amount of bodies or something....?

Or... like frost avalanche creates ice sculptures that block enemy fire and create cover... it could summon ghostly specters directly above dead bodies that (unseen to them) enemies can't shoot through but you and your allies can...  Or it could just reduce enemy damage but buff allies shot through a specters...?

Or something. Just a idea. Its 3 am here.

Hmm, have never played limbo and haven't really checked his skills till now. It is pretty close. Ill think of some ideas. Doesn't have to go the idea of a defensive stance. Anima is meant to be a pretty offensive frame because he is seeking vengeance for the death of his fellow tenno, and his soul won't rest until it is finished.

  6. HA Anima sounds like... well it sounds like Anima...

I like this! Abilities could be fleshed out a little more. 1 & 2 seem very close to Limbo. But we don't have a revive frame in the game so I think that might be interesting.

Also +1 for Reap! Stripping through enemies armour, yes! Could it effect allies too?

Thats a good idea for reap! I think it should take 50 energy if it affects allies as well, but thats an easy edit.

  7. Hello everyone, I have come up with a warframe idea, and would love some constructive feedback and suggestions.

Story: Once alive, anima and his squad were transporting a new prototype warframe. He and his squad was ambushed by grineer and slaughtered. Anima's soul would not rest in peace, and he refused to pass on to the next realm. The grineer were trying to open the box containing the new warframe when they saw a glow come from inside. Anima had attached himself to the prototype. He then proceeded to slaughter the grineer. He vowed to get vengeance for all the fallen tenno, and fought from the shadows. Now he has been revealed, and joins our ranks.

    Health: 100

    Shield: 150

    Energy: 100

    Armor: 75

    Shield Recharge: 20

    Sprint Speed: 1.0

    Abilities:

     1. Cleanse - 25 power pulls the soul from 1/2/3/4 enemies and their bodies fall to the ground. Does minimal damage, and their soul returns after 4 seconds. If the body is killed, the soul explodes causing enemies within 5m(?) radius to flee.
     2.  Reap - 50 power when meleeing ignores enemies armor for 4/6/8/10 seconds. Affects allies within a 10m range. (If Spectral Avatar is used before the duration of this runs out, it can still be in effect for Spectral Avatar)
     3. Soul pull - 75 energy Creates a rift that plays tug of war with the enemies soul within 6/7/8/10m. The lower the enemies health gets the closer it's soul gets to the rift. Slowly drains the enemies health. If an enemy dies while being pulled on his soul gets absorbed into the rift. After 4/6/8/10 Seconds the rift collapse causing blast damage to nearby enemies. Every soul the rift claims adds 50 blast damage to the explosion. (If an enemy's soul is outside it's body (Cleanse) then the rift has an extremely forceful initial pull on them, dealing 200/300/400/500 damage to them initially)
     4. Spectral Avatar: Anima's spectral force expands past his Warframe taking the form of a Giant Wraith with a scythe for a duration 12/14/16/18sec. Slow attack and movement speed, but large radius attack(Effected by ability rank- size of Wraith, not range). The Giant Wraith hits with 50/600/750/900 slash damage 100% proc (175/210/262.5/315 damage per tick). (If an enemy's soul is outside it's body, the scythe has a 100% chance critical on them. Crit. Multiplier is 2.0) (thanks to BloodForTheBloodGods).

    Alternate Abilities:
     1. Avenger - 25 power 4/5/6/7 seconds Anima's soul partially leaves his body. This allows anima to fire his primary and secondary weapon at the same time.
     2. Ghost drive - 25 power lasts for 6/8/10/12 seconds bullets go through him, but do not damage him. While performing attacks, he does materialize and can take damage.
     3. Soul Return - 50 power - revives on ally by returning their soul to their body. 4/8/12/16 distance
     4. Vengeance - anima's soul leaves the frame and grabs his weapons. While in this state the original body can be hurt, but the roaming soul
cannot. All bullets go through anima's soul. This ability drains 25 energy every 6 seconds. Melee is increased by 40% while in this state. Will give a warning when body is down, but can still roam until energy is up, or time is up and Anima dies.
    4. Retribution - 100 power summons a swarm of ghosts/ souls that pull on all enemies in a radius draining health and healing players in the vicinity
  8. So these are just some suggestions that I think could make warframe 10 time more epic. The ideas behind these are to give players more options, make it feel more driven towards player interaction, and to give more customizable options to the players.

    1. Raid bosses that either acquire more than four tenno per match, or more matches than one to defeat.

    2. Add a tenno level that is seperate from your warframe level. It would increase your base stats and potentially have

its own set of passive abilities such as; increased attack speed, boosted shields, added defense, etc.

    3. A quest system that has a story feel to it, and changes the mission and enemies based on the quest story.

4 Potentially have new mods that have 2nd and 3rd tier versions. For example have 3 different fire mods. The first is

common second uncommon and 3rd rare. Say the first mod has 10% base fire, the second have 40% base fire, and

the 3rd have 70% base fire. This creates more of a sense of taking time to acquire mods and really build your

    character and weapons.

    5. As it was stated in an earlier topic, reset the weapon stats according to rarity. This will make some weapons only

worth it at the lower levels. Also, having weapons such as the paris and the paris prime have very little difference in

stats makes the paris prime seem not worth getting.

    6. Add a few more maps that vary from the current ones. Using the same sets between planets makes each planet feel

the same or close to the same.

7.Allow players to define the feel of the game by allowing the interactions between users to be more open. This would

require a different type of user interaction. Some ideas to accomplish this are: To allow players to own land; to

change/expand the methods of making or forging weapons and frames; and to allow a more player created artistic

elements to be sold to other player.

    - Land could be used to: store resources; house equipment used to make weapons; to sell equipment or components

to make equipment; to host dueling tournaments; could be center of a guild hall; rent out land to other people; rent out

or lease equipment; can be fought over while the defender can hire people to defend; Land-owners could also build

defenses; possible property tax to prevent inactive players from owning large amounts of land; by allowing land to be

    owned jobs could be accommodated.

    - Jobs like craftsman would allow different levels that affect the creation of warframes, weapons, and sentinels. These

could allow the implementation of different qualities of the same item.

    - Player created art like decorations for your guild halls, houses, and land. Potential for signs, architecture,

    decorations, etc.

  9. Just experienced a bug on tolstoj. We were a party of three trying to kill the boss and the boss would not move, could not lose health, and could not  be knocked down. Also, the doors would not open and the wasn't any lockdown active. Not for sure why this happened, but it happened a few times on u10 as well.

  10. When you use volts overload or shock ability you won't be able to melee. This only happens sometimes and I have not found a specific situation that it occurs in. The only solution is to use overload, then you can melee again. I have not tested this with any other frame.
