    What warframe did you use?

I can't recall, but it wasn't a farming frame or anything built for farming, I just got lucky I think that time. If you wanna run a Hydroid or Nekros it'll probably help you but not mandatory.

  2. I'm also thinking this could have been a "self inflicted" bug as well. It could have been network during transition as I'm forced to play on wifi due to living situation. Although the wifi is impressive it does have the occasional spike.

My build is also pretty budget. The game isnt super demanding and I do consistently run 60+ fps, but something about the conduit materializing brings me down to around 30.

There's a few factors but I think it may have been on my side since it seems it's not regularly experienced and has stopped for me too. Strange, maybe if someone else replies with a similar experience then I'll post it, but since it happened sometimes for some zones and some not I'm pretty certain it wasn't a perception thing.

    Thanks guys helping out!

Could be perception related, what frames did you play before? (also any sprint mods on them?)

Altough he is slower than most frames... At base, if I'm not mistaken.

Had something similar with Gara after playing with Gauss for a wile. But nothing had changed, so...

Hahaha, no amigo this definitely wasn't a perception one. I play a lot of different frames, fast and slow but this was literally slow motion. As said above, could have been a sanctuary transition stuck with me. I never play anything with sprint mods nor do I really play many "speed frames" on a regular.

Was this a one time thing or has it happened multiple times? It’s possible the transition between zones caused the bug; passing through the conduit slows down your actions and it might have bugged out.

Also would you say he was moving 20% slower or something higher like 75% slower?

That's kind of what I figured happened too, but since it never occurred until I started playing frost, I wanted to be sure. It definitely happened more than once, once for basically an entire run through every zone, another had a couple entire zones.

It was definitely a minimim of %50 slower. Hasn't happened again for some reason, just a few consistent runs which is what confused me.

Some levels can have an "extreme cold" effect applied to the area, which will slow you down. If I recall correctly this can only happen in sorties though. In general, frost only has 5% lower movement speed than normal (0.95). Maybe you're used to playing frames that have faster base speeds like 1.2?

I considered the movement speed, but of course ever since I made this post it hasn't happened. I've been running onslaughts so I can level and forma. The movement speed was not a slower frame speed though, it was basically slow motion as if a cold status was applied. Not sure why it happened but definitely wasn't a regular movement speed lmao.

  6. I just got Frost Prime and never experienced the original frost. I'm moving as if I always have a cold status applied to me? I understand the name is Frost but this don't feel like a feature. Anyone else experiencing this? If so I'll make a post in the bug section.

  7. I think it'd be something super cool to see honestly, but with the amount of frames out, that's a lot of voice actors (or few voice actors with different voices). I mean, if we're talking like none of that mattered and they were all voiced, would the operator matter then or would the voice change to the frame? Male operator just switching over to female voice lines from the frame would throw my ass for a loop but would be super entertaining lmao.

Unless you gave them their own mind and personality even, that S#&$ would be wild. Having a frame input their own ideas and stories into the game would be wild. Voice actors can really make or break a game sometimes, my heart still aches over Ghost from Destiny switching from Peter Dinklage. That was a weird one to adjust to.

    This definitely helps a lot!

A couple of things about Saryn though -

    - Most Saryn builds I find run pretty low efficiency. Does she not need energy that much? Tbh I'm not familiar with her spore-spreading mechanic and was assuming she spams her abilities and would require Hunter Adrenaline or something.

    - Speaking of spreading spores, what kind of weapons are good for her? I have an Orthos Prime condition overload  build as my go to melee weapon, and I think it should fit right in with Saryn as she has built in corrosive/viral procs, but I'm not sure what primary(s) synergize with her abilities.

    - Kinda random thought that just came to my head, but how does Mirage compare to these two? I've heard she's a pretty good  DPS frame too.

For my Saryn, My efficiency is just below 100, maybe around 80? Basically you cast spores onto one single target, kill the target then it spreads to every other target within your ability range, slowly scaling damage (ability strength). The more you have infected, the faster it rises. As the enemies die, is usually spreads well on it's own. Miasma helps spread spores also. Your starting energy should be enough to get you going as you pick up more. Regenerative Molt is a good augment mod which allows you to recover health so you don't need to worry about anything else for survivability.

As for weapons, it's personal preference to me. I like the Ignis Wraith for Saryn, but usually run things like Fulmin or Arca Plasmor. As for melee, I like running Atterax, but I don't find it has much of a difference with spores (although more veteran players might be able to lean into this more than I can).

Mirage is a very good DPS frame but can be tricky sometimes depending on the map. Her 1 is her "clones/holograms" that will do additional damage as well by mimicking exactly what you're doing. Her 3 is tricky, because when in darkness she receives a damage absorption buff (there's a better word for that, I can't think of it) and in light she receives the major damage buff that makes her output insane damage. However, a lot of maps are real dark so sometimes it's hard to get that buff. She's built for Duration and Strength, the rest don't matter at all. Again, I like using Ignis Wraith for her because there is major AOE with her clones for large mobs, and I've noticed that while spamming slide for some reason, it provides a light source to receive the damage buff.

I'd go Sayrn as the power of mesa's peacemakers depends on how fast you can press the trigger, as on PC, you can't just hold down the fire button as if it was an automatic gun, as it is on console versions.

If I'm understanding what you're saying correctly, you're incorrect as I'm on PC and definitely just hold down left click and it automatically fires at everything on my screen until it's dead.

  10. Mesa is gonna be your boss fighter. Shatter shield absorbs damage, and the 4 can be really good fast DPS per single target (and can wipe out mobs if you're putting out the damage). If you're running something like ESO, then Saryn is gonna be the one killing literally everything as she's best with max range and a decent amount of power strength.

As for builds, check out youtube. Lots of great builds out there. Saryn becomes straight forward to build for, but tweak to your liking. My build is like max range is a must, duration should stay at %100 or at least close, and strength depending on your activity. I can't recall my exact amount, but I have the power strength a little higher than necessary since I typically use her for ESO. Regenerative Molt is an important mod with her for higher content.

My build for Mesa focused a little bit on everything. Efficiency for less drain on the 4. Strength and Duration for 3 (shatter shield) and the tiniest bit of range (although I have no clue whether or not range has effect on the regulators) for the 4 as well but sits at like %115 anyways.

    Hope it helps out.

I activate her 3 (95% Damage reduction from received shots above 130% Strength) and Bullet Jump around the map/objective and activate Peacemaker while Aim Gliding. Peacemaker keeps enemies locked on for 5 seconds even if you lose line of sight. So by jumpgin and gliding you can cover a wider area without the need to use Mesa's Waltz and also stay mobile so enemies won't hit you as often

Good to know, I have a long way to go but appreciate the help.

Saryn does fit your discription pretty well but as for all frames you need to invest heavy to be rock solid.

Build her for 230+ Range and positive Duration. Put a Spore on an enemy and pop it with Gas Damage (Ignis is very good) or use your 3 (Toxic Lash) to give yourself some toxin buffs to pop the spores.

Another good frame and which is a bit more tanky is Mesa.

Thanks man, appreciate the info! Like I said, still pretty new to the game and have a long way to go until end game and learning mechanics, but super appreciate the build advice and everything. I actually bought Mesa too but also didn't know how to play the frame either so I'll have to give them both a shot.

Saryn is a great AOE frame, with a little bit of investment she starts to melt enemies. Another great allrounder frame is Gara: you can be tanky, you can protect things and you have large AOE damage.

Choosing a single "main" is not really something you should do in warframe. Different frames just do extremely different things in certain missions.

I actually haven't looked too much into Gara, thanks. And yeah, I guess different frames call for different situations which I'm sure I'll learn more about as I go along. I guess it's more which one to level and build the most as I progress and then start more work as I get closer to end game. Appreciate the help!

  13. Hey all, so I'm still pretty new to the game but I'm having a blast so far. However, I'm still trying to choose a frame that would fit my play style some more. Right now I've been playing Rhino Prime and enjoying it, also bought Nyx Prime but haven't invested any time into it so far. I've still got a long way to go before end game, but I was wondering what this fine community would recommend is suited for a fast paced, kind of AOE melting frame? I've given Saryn a try but didn't invest much into her because I didn't know how to play her, but will give it another go soon but would love to hear some recommendations in the mean time. I'm sure down the road I'll give more a try, but for the mean time I guess I'm searching for my "main" as I progress through the game.

    Thanks all :D

  14. That's weird, I bought Platinum through Steam last night twice and got them instantly. Some games require restarts for premium currency to show up sometimes. You've restarted your game and it still hasn't shown? Did you receive confirmation e-mail and that your steam transaction has actually gone through (your funds aren't still in your steam wallet, or were never taken out of your account, etc.)?

You might have to make a support ticket if it doesn't show, maybe give it an hour to ensure that the delivery just didn't delay, I've experienced that in a couple other games before. I'm new to Warframe but currency purchases are pretty straight forward across the board.

  15. I'm a little confused, I've only just started playing but I'm having fun. I was wanting to buy the Rhino Prime pack from the Prime Vault. The FAQ says it's a "Prime Access extension" but doesn't have an answer that I can see. So what I'm asking is, do I have to purchase one of the Prime Access tiers in order to be eligible to buy from the Prime Vault, or can I just go ahead and purchase from the vault? (I'm only asking on here cause I'm stuck at work otherwise I'd just try it lol)

Thanks for helping the noob 🙂
