  1.

Then you should have posted it there, because tips/guides don't belong in General Discussion.

    Please read and understand:

    Moved to the proper section.

Sorry ComMod, the intention was equal between helping players and seeing if anything is more efficient, the ladder being a general discusion topic. Thanks for the fix.

  2. I love everyone recommending to do the void for credits... not really realistic with credit sinks we have right now and having limited amount of keys you have. Its much easier to do dark sectors endless without being tied to keys!

    I agree. Thank you!

    Him... Its an interesting take.

Will you be doing one for beacons? (Though they only spawn on certain sedna nodes)

I could, but the thing is they are soooo inconsistent. Also, they aren't too useful

Great guide and excellent work fellow Tenno.

Just wanted to point out that if you would like to max out on your Affinity (EXP) there is no need to drop your sentinel or Kubrow. They both get doubled EXP wich doesn´t subtract from the EXP you get for Frame and/or Weapon.

REally? This is news to me

  3. OMG, please put in top of your OP that you're trying to give advices for a STAR CHART only farming, possibly in caps lock, bold and fluorescent font.

Sweet Jesus, after reading the first 2 pages I coulnd't believe so many people were keeping suggesting Void or even worse calling your job bulls**t cause you were not including keys related missions into it.

Some users really can't spend time to read 2/3 posts on a multi pages thread before posting their comment....I suggest you to explain your aim clearly at the beginning!

    Keep up the good work!

    EDIT: sorry for double post..

No problem about the double post. It also says at the end of the first paragraph that this is for the STARCHART. I do get fairly perturbed when someone doesn't seem to know that. Good luck, Tenno! And Thanks!

  4. Watch DE nerf these places in the name of /NOT BEING OP./ while we all know the real reason. Money. ;)

Well take Kappa, Sedna for example. Kappa has been a good source for XP for over a year. Having said that, I PRAY they don't nerf them. Except Draco, I know that'll be just Viver 2.0. and yes, money XD

Good guide indeed, I like that it offers strong alternatives to Void runs, well done!

Thank you very much, I put a good amount of effort into it. Good luck, Tenno!

  5. Is Xini really that consistent a place for Neurodes? I can get consistent drops for O. Cells and Neural Sensors, but in time playing, I've found Neurodes to be almost impossible to find on a time vs effort ratio, Eris, or Earth.

It is. When it comes to Neurodes though, i'd say that RNG surpasses the guide, but Xini is great. Good luck Tenno!

Correction on the usage of a speed Nova on infested, for this you must be sure you also have a Vauban in the group or else you have nothing to slow them down and you will get overwhelmed since infested is already coming at you like freight trains this is a common mistake some Nova players make.

Added recomendation for Vauban, thanks. Good luck Tenno!

  6. To be honest, you'll be doing so much damage with the bows, it doesn't matter their primary damage type. I prefer the Dread because it seems to have less arch to the shots and it red crits more often. Though I like my Vectis, compared to a bow, it is pretty hard to recommend.

This isnt entirely true. My roomate got to 75 minutes on T4 survival, and the dread just wasn't cutting it everytime. Now by this I mean that the one instance in every few minutes where you don't red crit, and you don't get a head shot, and you don't status, and you are hitting a bigger enemy. Other than that, you are basically right. I do recommend Paris Prime

  7. This should be tagged. Some people get into this game and forget how important READING the menus is. To check every little icon and tab available. Instead they go full derp and spam chat with the silliest questions, "like where can i find morphics?" " how can I invite my friend to squad?" where does X primed part drop?" ugh

If it got tagged I would freak. It's nice to help people out, and having my little 15 minutes of internet fame would be cool. Thanks for the feedback, and good luck, Tenno!

  8. I think this thread is good except you are missing one detail- Rhino has all of those abilities in one single Frame. No other frame has a movement ability, a survival ability, a buff ability, and a "stun"/AoE damage ability in the same package. If you are only considering one ability, then Excalibro has the best AoE with radial Javelin, Mirage has the best buffing ability with HoM, Valkyr has the best survival ability with Hysteria, and Volt has the best movement ability with speed. On top of that, Oberon has the best direct damage ability with Smite, Trinity has the best healing ability with Blessing, Vauban has the best support ability with Vortex, and Nekros has the best "other" ability with Consecrate, and Loki has the best stealth ability with Invisibility.

By that logic, I would argue that-

You like Ash? Ya well nothing he does is better than anyone else, so why even ATTEMPT to use him. He's even kinda squishy

You like Banshee? what are you going to do silence them to death? ya right, Banshee sucks

You like Ember? wait no one likes Ember never mind

You like Frost? Nice snow globe ya big fat loser, doesn't even compete with Radial javalin in terms of AoE

You like Nyx? Ya well how does it feel to know that virtual all of her potential is based on the AI not brutally messing up when you need them not to- AKA she's worse than Mirage in every way, as well as Excalibro. cmon man.

This is sort of a poor position to take. I think that their overall worth should be measured on a sort of point scale, with each ability having up to 10 points, and then 10 points for their health/shield/speed. This totals 50 points, and measures their value. Let me make an example

    Rhino-

    Rhino Charge;

Being that this ability costs 25 energy, does virtually no damage, and only lets you travel a short distance, it's not worth much

    4/10

    Iron Skin:

A 50 energy ability that can double your health UNMODDED and makes you virtually unstoppable on the star chart is very nice. While it doesn't quit make it through the longer void missions, it is still very handy to have in your back pocket

    7/10

    Roar:

While it does cost 75 energy to cast, it lasts for a fairly long time and can  significantly increase your damage, which is very helpful late game.

    6/10

    Rhino Stomp:

A whopping 100 energy cost ability, Rhino stomp is extremely useful lategame. It suspends enemies in the air for a VERY long time, it has a massive radius, and can deal pretty good damage.

    8/10

    Stats:

Rhino has great armor, shields, and health, all of which are great in the starchart. However, he will NOT be living through more than one or two shots after 30 minutes in T4 Survival, where you're best asset is your abilities and your speed- in which Rhino lacks in the latter.

    5/10

    4 + 7 + 6 + 8 + 5 = 30 / 50

Now let's take a significantly worse frame, such as Limbo

    Limbo-

    Banish

Yes, the whole Material/Rift world idea is cool, but for a cost of 25 energy you can put a SINGLE enemy into the opposing world for  up to 25 seconds, and 300 damage? That SUCK! Soul punch is better

    2/10

    Rift Walk

It is really awesome that this ability is worth 15 energy because if it cost any more, this frame would be beyond useless. Even with synergy to Banish, you are using 40 platinum to get a SINGLE enemy into the rift plane, and it is only temporary. Not only that, but you can't damage anyone else! While it is nice that they can't damage you, that also means you are USELESS to your team

    2/10 - even with synergy

    Rift Surge

50 energy for this? Really? a 3x damage multiplier is nice, but guess what IT ONLY WORKS IN THE RIFT WORLD! If you cast this with Rift Walk and banish, you just spent 90 energy being useless. How does that feel? And if you spend it with Cataclysm, you just spent 150 energy being a nuisance to your team. Way to go, jerk.

    1/10

    Cataclysm

The one ability that I would consider almost more of a troll ability than Vauban's bounce house. This does nothing but make me angry when I see someone cast this on a cryo pod and make everyone in it useless. Plus the 100 energy price tag? 4Realz?

    1/10

    Stats:

Nothing really shines about Limbo. With mediocre health, shields, armor, and energy, the only thing he does "okay" is his speed... Emphasis on okay

    5/10

    2 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 5 = 11/50

  9. It all RNG. I spent 2 weeks doing missions on Jupiter and ending up with 0 Neural Sensors.

It is all RNG, but the chance of you doing 2 weeks worth of missions on Jupiter without getting 0 Neural Sensors is about as possible as me winning the MegaMillions 3 times in a row. If you aren't lying, then I can almost guarantee you didn't do more than a handful of missions, and you definitely didn't do the mission I recommended. Especially because I just ran that mission to round 20 two times, and ended up with 9 Neural Sensors. That took no more than 40 minutes.

  10. stephano - uranus

    best polymer/plastids in the game

    Orokin derelict defence

best nano spores/neurodes in the game

both of these places in terms of "farming" require a nekros.

    In terms of credits

    t2-4 ext

    t2-4 caps

dark sectors for credits is extremely bad advice.

Stephano is good, and I would recommend it, but not as much. Nekros should be used for most resource farming. I don't know if you read my post, but I specifically said that I was not going to include void/OD's because to be honest, keys aren't readily accessible to everyone, among many other reasons. Dark Sectors are bad advice for credit farming EXCEPT THE ONE LOCATION I MENTIONED. It is extremely easy to farm credits there, and often more efficient than some void missions.

  11. If I was able to do it only 1 month into the game, everyone is. Nova solo, Phage with corrosive and blast damage.

Trust me, not everyone can do Lephantis. I understand your point of view, but this would require new players not only to figure out how to build a key, but also to figure the right gear to get, etc. It is much more worth naming the starchart location as the best, and realistically Lephantis is only marginally better if at all.
