What is a void mission and how do i join one? i'm pretty sure im too low level to join one as i dont know what it is.

I'm way too weak for the mission and i dont even have it unlocked. I understand that someone else can start the mission for me if they have already completed it though? i was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to boost me through it once. i just want a control module so i can build a sentinel.
