  1. The game chugs quite heavily on mobile defense no matter what hardware you throw at it - seems to be CPU bound and not using multi threading enough.

This. I think it's premature to call this a hardware issue immediately. There are other indicators this build is in dire need of optomization.

  2. It's a defense map. And for whatever reason, my framerates drop into the toilet when I get in that huge room where you're supposed to defend the artifact. I don't have framerate issues like this on other maps, in other big areas, or on other defense missions. I start off fine in the landing area, but as I move into the actual defense room, you can see my GPU start to choke.

This room, or the entire map, is in sore need of optomization.

  3. They've been extremely hush hush since the update hit. The lack of communication is really getting annoying.

The only thing I saw Steve post on for example in the last few days was on the Open Beta Trailer.

So they're obviously reading the forums, just aren't giving us some feedback or open discussion.

    ----

Actually, Steve posted in the reddit WF sub that Fusion prices and Fusion core sell prices in particular will be worked on and changed after they finish up at PAX.

  4. I get that the lore covers the flashlight, that only you can see it ect ect.

But I loaded up the game expecting to be a stealthy ninja, and I'm plopped into a game world where I can't turn my flashlight off?! I know the mobs don't react to it. But. Can we have a bindable hotkey to toggle the flashlight effect at least?

I think this would go a long way towards cutting some of the complaints about firefight target washout, aside from just being aesthetically more pleasing. I never thought I'd find a flashlight so jarring, but... the inability to toggle it just seems to fly so glaringly in the face of atmosphere that's otherwise quite well done!

Thanks for making an awesome game and more importantly, LISTENING TO YOUR AUDIENCE. Keep up the good work, I want to play WF for a long, long time.

  5. You add another +70% armor mod. Your armor is now 245(144*1.7). Multiply your health by 3.45(base +245%). Now that sawman has to hit you3.45(4) times to kill you. He is doing 28 percent of his regular damage.

And so on until you have all 8 slots filled by armor. That gives you a max armor of 3487(multiply health by 35.87). You'd end up with around 97% mitigation(rounding. All damage rounds down to remove decimals when it is applied to an enemy/enemy applies damage to you)

::edited:: to not be stupid. If you add a +70% mod, you don't multiply by 1.7 and also add in the previous level. That's why you use 1.7 instead of .7(1.7 is base+70%). I'm really unorganized.

Finally, a plain clothes explanation! You're doing great work, more organized than anyone else I've come across so far! Thank you for all of this!

  6. Callsign: RoninTetsuro

Hey all, I was looking on Steam last night for something fresh and came across this. I got about halfway through the first teaser video before I mashed that download button.

Space Ninjas in the Future? How could I not!?

I'm new, but hardly a noob. I only managed to get to Player Level 1 last night, but I've got a fresh sword cooking and ready for tonights session, as well as having leveld my guns quite a bit, having already been an expert marksman in a few past digital lives. Looking to team up and make things bleed. Add me and message me when you see me on, I want to help you (and by extension me) get dem mad lewts.
