    Switch U.26 - U.27 Bug Report

    Only on my Switch

    Pink squares replacing planet nodes, replacing item locations on the mini map (covers enemy locations), pink squares covering part of the liset. Mini map flashing, squiggles and dancing on Mars extermination missions (literally unreadable), icons in the orbiter replaced with large "Z" shapes. Part of the map (doors, hallways, walls) completely disappearing, sometimes I see the other side of the door or wall, sometimes it's blank. Enemy sometimes look like they zig zag teleport (just one of them or a few at a time). Falling through the ground/map in the plains by the lake with a continuous loop.

    This is what I am experiencing. Doesn't matter how long I play but is definitely worse the longer I play. Reloading the game helps but not all the time.

    You guys are just too good. I've played for years, first PC, then PS4 and finally Xbox one. I'm just an ok player. I played with family and friends until they finally had enough. I've never gotten to MR15. Bummer. I watch others play and read the bragging rights and I just shake my head. I have to admit I am both envious and intimidated. Mostly intimidated. That's why this time around I have been playing solo. I want to play in a squad but when I have there hasn't been much patience. I am handicapped so I'm not as fast as most and my reflexes are slower as well. Though a lot of the time you wouldn't notice, depending on the mission.

    To me the game is hard and with the Kuva Lich they turned on "Nightmare" mode. I feel kinda lost. I would like the "Easy" button please. I can't kill mine so he just mouths off at me all the time. I'm just not able to do missions that require a squad either.

    The game is a grind but I don't mind it if the reward is good. I wish they would have made a quest for every Warframe. Lately it feels like they are just having babies. Mind you, I'm not complaining. I like the Warframes.

    I can both complain and praise DE. I don't think I'm in their good grace atm. TBH I absolutely love this game but I hate the constant change. I wish they would add content, something new, a new race. Add an open world on each planet. Introduce new Warframes via quests. I do like that they add improvements and graphics. 

    If you go through the forums it's really easy to tell you simply can't please everyone. I'm part of that problem as well. 

    Sometimes I wonder if everyone was stoned in the boiler room lol.

    It definitely has some issues. All in all it's a great game.

    Wich ties in with your 3rd point. If you are not good enough to beat him how come he spreads to other planets?
    He only does that after he gets stabbed with the wrong mod.

    It might look like he takes a lot of recources and mods. but its not so much each time.
    If you realy have trouble killing your lich go in with a group.
    Even if you are a solo player just go in a group this time until your lich is gone.

    Not a debate with you really. However, a little off the top on every place he has control of amounts to a great deal if you play as much as I do.

    It's a long story about going into missions with a group. It was fun when it was with friends and family. They grew tired of Warframe and have no intention of coming back. I am not a great player. I'm just ok. I'm definitely slower than most. Playing with randoms is ok on some boards. Planning isn't possible.

    I really wasn't trying to dis what you said. It's just how it worked out. I'm an ok player but my thumbs are going to do whatever they want. Tremors. This Lich thing is very disheartening. I was on every day. Almost all day from noon to midnight. I've a PC account as well as a PS4 account. I've really enjoyed this game. It really good to hear that they will give you an option to get out from under his thumb. Stupid Lich. I was in the heat of battle when I made a mistake. Hopefully it'll never happen again. 

    But yes, this morning he had total control of Jupiter, Ceres and Mars making his way around. I believe I saw red on most of the planets.

    I'm not going to fight him. I'll just get crushed again. I feel like I wasted my money on the boosters. I'll never be able to recover what he's taken. It's not just credits. It's everything. Mods, Endo and resources aren't safe. Tellerium which is hard to come by isn't safe.

    Only if you haven't completed that planet yet would be my guess.

    But there is one thing that I agree uppon though.
    It is indeed easy to accedentilly kill a larvling.
    I mean it's a reaction.
    You see a mob, you shoot a mob. It say's press X you press X.
    Ain't nobody got time to read everything that is going on on the screen since its a fast passed gameplay thingy.

    So my suggestion is.
    We have to sellect if we want to farm murmurs to do the kuva lich controlled enemy.
    Why not have a mission allert just for kuva larvlings?
    That way you have to actualy choose if you want to do it. or ignore it if you don't want to have a lich.
     

    And lastly somewhat off topic:
    It's a shame that the stalker is already a enemy in this game.
    Cause I want to call my kuva lich my personal stalker.

    First, I don't want to fight the stupid lich. 

    Second, it's not just one planet. He spreads out to the other planets.

    Third, I'm not good enough of a player to beat him.

    I have a 90 day affinity, 90 day credit and 30 day resource booster. So if I don't kill him, because I can't, he skims a little off the top OF EVERYTHING. I JUST THREW MY MONEY AWAY! Fair, NO. Not only does he take credits and resources that I have been grinding my butt off for, Resources I need, Resources that are rare.

    Players have a RIGHT to be upset about this. Not only is this a distraction but it's annoying. He pops up often and rubs it in your face. And at the end of every mission it shoves it in your face again by how much he's taken.

    I didn't kill him on purpose. It was in the heat of battle. I was playing solo. I don't want him in my game, never did. I tried to kill him once. He killed me and leveled up. Now he's going to be harder to kill. Besides, if you don't have the correct order and think you killed him, You didn't actually kill him and he's going to level up.

    NOW, he's messed up my ENTIRE game!!

    You have a choice at every node he's taken. 1) do the mission and fight to find and kill him. 2) do the regular mission. Either way you're taxed!

    Whoever thought this up didn't think this through. What happened in the boiler room??? There needs to be an "Opt out."  And I'm not talking about quitting the game. I still have a lot of plat and a lot of time and money invested.

    I've been playing this game for years. First on the PC then the PS4 and now the Xbox one. I started over each time. That's how much I loved this game. I've invested a lot of money into the game to show my support for it as I wanted it to grow. At this point I'd really like my money back. Refund please. I know, Not gonna happen. Just my two cents.

    I wish I could like it but I don't. It's extremely annoying and aggravating. I never intended to mess with the lich but oops I killed what I shouldn't have in the heat of the battle. That's on me. Now it's spreading fast and soon I'll have all my loot taxed no matter where I go. I simply can't kill the Lich. There needs to be an "opt out."

    I just got a 90 day affinity and credit booster along with a 30 day resource booster. I feel like I wasted my money. Had I known I would have put that money into something else.

    I've had several accounts, PC, PS4 and Xbox one. I've enjoyed playing Warframe and I didn't mind supporting this awesome game. Now my emotions are running amuck. Honesty, it was hard to pick up the controller and play. I've got about 2000 plat, which may not sound like a lot to you but I scraped to get it, and now I feel like it's wasted. I'm not even remotely as good of a player as a lot out there but this isn't about them. It's about me and how I feel about it. I'm not looking for anything, no empathy, no sympathy and certainly not hater banter. But if there was a way to recover what I threw away I would not pass it up nor would I look back. It's that bad and frustrating for me.

    I don't hate the game and I'm not mad but I certainly am disappointed with what DE has imposed on their players. No matter how much you try to spin this it's only going to come out the same way. I've got a lot invested in Warframe, the years of playing, starting over to relive the experience, the money invested and I don't want to lose that. I know somehow, someway I'll try to make the best of it. But, unless this is fixed it's the beginning of the end for me. And that totally sucks.

    I didn't expect the game to go in this direction. I didn't sign up for this but alas I'm not in charge and I really don't have a say. I'm just voicing my opinion. Some feel the same way I do. Some have no problem with it. Please Give your players a way out. It really feels forced on them.

    I really miss my Warframes. They've gotten me through some rough times.

    Lol, I don't think you know what you're getting into. I'm not going to get any better. I'm a disabled player. I play some levels pretty darn good and others not so much. I can't speed run and have a hard time keeping up on some levels. On others I'm pretty much going to.

    Are you playing solo? If so you're awesome!! I wish I could play with you! I'm not being sarcastic, I am sincere. Of course you may not want to play with me if you're that good. I'm just an ok player.

    Okay, so I just checked out my theory. If you play the regular mission on an affected node you are not attacked by the lich. You are however taxed. That means some of your loot is gone. This is unfortunate and truly unfair.

    How? 

    1) your grind has now become a burden. Why should I grind if part of my loot is going to be taken? This will discourage a lot of players. I need my stuff.

    2) you're forced to battle with the Lich's minions until you can defeat the Lich if you want your stuff. If you're with a good team it may not be a problem. If you're solo you're out of luck. That is unless you're leveled up and/or you're just an awesome player.

    3) casual players are punished/screwed. A lot of players will just abandon the mission unless you have a certain frame. I know because this has happened to me enough times that I just went solo. Quite a bit of casual players are solo.

    4) WHY BUY BOOSTERS??? Your stuff is just going to be taken from you anyway which TOTALLY makes this unfair. That is of course if you don't beat the Lich which like I said, you're being forced to try to beat him.

    5) he spreads out his territory so you're going to have to play him to do some things.

    I'm a solo player and have been for years. First on the PC then the PS4 and finally the Xbox one. Warframe has been my favorite game. This is a big blow. You are now pretty much forced to play with others and some players can be pretty toxic. I'll still play for a while. He hasn't encroached on my favorite planets yet. I just got a 90 day affinity and credit booster. I also have a 30 day resource booster. I feel like I just wasted my money. Honesty, I want it back. Refund please. I'm not sure what DE was thinking.

    I haven't checked this out yet but what I know is that each affected node gives you a choice to play lich or regular. If it's true how will this even affect new players? They can choose whether to play and advance like before or choose to get their butts handed to them. It's like any other game. Play on regular or nightmare difficulty. Right?

    I saw that as well. I'm a casual player. If it doesn't interfere with my play style then why worry. I accidentally killed one in the heat of battle. Next thing I knew the whole planet was red. I tried playing one of the nodes. What a nightmare! I wish I was as good as some of the players. I'm an okay player but that's it and there's no such thing as "Git gud" for me. I'm handicapped so there's that. This has been my favorite game. First on computer then PS4 and now Xbox. I honestly believe there may be a choice to play one or the other with no fear that you will be overwhelmed while playing the normal mission. A company like DE looks at all the angles. I certainly understand the apprehension of a lot of players. I remember when the Alerts were replaced by Nightwave. It sent a lot of players into a frenzy. Turns out it's better. You still get everything you got before plus some and you can do it without playing the harder missions. For the Kuva Lich I think there will be a choice and one won't interfere with the other. I'll certainly check it out tomorrow.

    That was good Yankee. I agree that the MR test system is just fluff Neurohax. For me the tests don't really match how you play the game. If the tests actually helped you learn something then I could relate. I hated the MR9 test and I'm sure I'll hate MR19. Isokaze said to use Wisp on MR9. Well, more like trying to belittle me for not understanding "Use Wisp". Which I totally got from the beginning.

    Wisp did work but it was still not a breeze. Unfortunately I'm not as skilled as most. I'm disabled. Sometimes my thumbs just do whatever they want to. I say stop, they say go. I say left they say right. That's why just hopping around with Wisp was hard. I failed one time because I jumped in front of the enemy. The last guy. Lol, not because I wanted to.

    Headshots are hard for me to do. Lol. I've played with others but I'm slower, I hit the door frames, lol and I get lost. I know the tile sets but if I'm chasing after a squad, because I can't keep up, I start to stress. So I play solo.

    I'm sure there will be a lot more tests that will prove to be difficult. I don't look forward to any of them.
