    PS4 - Chromatic Blade Mod not working?

    Nevermind folks. A good buddy of mine finally showed me that it works and I tested it out myself.

    For all that don't know how Chromatic Blade works. The energy color element damage and the 50% status chance bonus will only work in-game when you activate Exalted Blade. I have 3 elemental mods on my Excalibur to get radiation and viral. My Voltaic Strike mod is the very last mod on my slots and combines with my green energy color for toxin. That gave me viral and was evidently visible when hitting enemies with Exalted Blade.

    So yes it does work as expected. You just can't see them on the melee weapon stats because it's passive and only takes effect with Exalted Blade active.

    Hope that helps everyone. Chromatic Blade is an awesome mod.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong, but to my understanding of the way Chromatic Blade is supposed to work is that when you customise your Warframe's energy colors, whatever color is selected such as green, your Warframe's energy color will now have an elemental icon identified next to it. In this case green will be toxin.

    With toxin active, I can now install a single melee elemental mod that has electricity, for example, and my melee weapon stat will now have Corosive combo elemental damage.

    Is this correct? If it is, then the Chromatic Blade Mod is not working.

    The only thing that works when equipping this mod is that it displays the element icon next to my Warframe energy color. And that's it.

    The melee stat never displays the combined stat of the Chromatic Blade Mod energy color element with the melee element mod that's installed on my weapon. I've also tested it during combat and do not see the effects taking place of the combined element mods when using Exalted Blade on enemies.

    This is a fairly new mod on PS4 so not sure how many people are encountering the same issue. PC seems to be working exactly as I've described above and no issues like this.
