  1. Oh god. Here:

How does a difference of $10 make up for taking 1600 plat (the equivalent of $70 according to the PSN Store) out of the package?

I could care less about compensation at this point, all I want is a legitimate explanation.

This isn't a complaint or a call for compensation. All I want is a legitimate explanation for the above.

A lot of people complained so they made it cheaper without all the benefits of the Ember package, good for them.

Its only cheaper on the PS4 side by $10. Rhino Prime Access on the PC is the same price as Inferno Prime Access, the only difference is that they offered separate packages. On the PS4 side there are only two selections. I understand there were wallet caps or whatever on Sony's PSN store, but again, why remove $70 worth of plat from a total package that is $10 cheaper?

  2. Before anyone decides to spend anymore time and money on this game, read this. Most notably, the last couple of pages.

    https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/201479-ps4-prime-access-insight/page-7

I mean, you might as well read up, since you're probably about to get booted back to the main screen anyway due to all the connectivity issues..

Take note of the discussion of course, but also note that DE posts nothing after the original post. Also note that as soon as I say my peace and wait for a response from DE, the minute someone asks for a lock, the thread is locked.

Please read up and ask yourselves why its okay for us to be short-changed. Ask yourselves why 1600 plat was missing, and not $10 worth? Ask yourself why you don't get any answers, even as a supporting player.

And before anyone else says it; Yes, I know I'm not getting the 1600 plat I should be getting, and yes, I know that the PS4 and PC are two separate platforms. Yes, I understand that Sony has a hand in this too. But remember that while Sony may control the prices, they don't control the content. How does a difference of $10 make up for taking 1600 plat (the equivalent of $70 according to the PSN Store) out of the package?

I could care less about compensation at this point, all I want is a legitimate explanation.

  3. Ok, I didn't want to resort to calling anyone in particular out (because it doesn't add to the discussion at hand), but Nilphelan, my respect for your opinion went out the window when you said that 23% of the community is not noticeable in terms of player base, and essentially revenue. Anyone in their right mind would fight to keep 1/4 of their community happy, and if you think that losing 1/4 is no big deal, well.. like I said, respect for your opinion goes out the window.

You have made valid points about the Ember Prime and Rhino Prime packs regarding why they broke them up like they did. That, we do appreciate. The problem is that, while some people did want the Prime Access to be broken up, they didn't want it broken up at the cost of 1600 platinum. To add insult to injury, the missing 1600 platinum is only missing for PS4 players. If the PC was also "missing" 1600 plat, you would be hearing more about the lack of value compared to the Inferno Prime Access on both sides, instead of this issue of missing plat.

In general, the devalued Prime Access this time around is what I would call a forgivable trial. The package was broken up like people had asked, at the cost of less platinum, which people disagreed with. Fine, next time DE will reconsider how to break up the package. That, in itself, is fine with me. BUT, the fact is that the PC side got the broken up package options WITHOUT the loss of 1600 plat. All everyone wants is an explanation for why the PS4 got shorted compared to the PC platform. Yes, you can argue that Sony's PSN has a hand in this, and they instituted a "cap" of sorts. That's fine, but why short PS4 players 1600 plat? DE decides how much plat goes into each package. To buy the total package, it costs $130, which is $10 less than the full package on PC. Why not simply take $10 worth of platinum from the 4300 and offer that? Why take 1600, and not 300, 400, 500?

These are the questions we are looking for answers to, and the questions that DE continues to sidestep.

You would think that with all the competition coming on the PS4, that they would treat their PS4 base better to prevent them from going to other games. However, it seems to be the opposite, ie. squeeze as much out of the PS4 base as possible since they're leaving Warframe for other games anyway. Its a shame, because even the loyal players, some of which are also paying customers, get screwed over.

  4. The second class citizens are yet to start a new thread named 'Next Prime Access options' with valid opinions on what options PS4 users would like to see, other then ranting over a beaten horse topic ('Gimmie gimmie platinum comp')

Hopefully not only DE learns from this, but so do the 'second class' ps4 users. Less vocal about what you want now, and need now.. more posts about what you would wish to see in the foreseeable future.(Next prime access)

I'd rather fix the problem at hand rather than create a new topic that detracts from the current issue. We have enough of that coming from DE.

I'm sure you've read the majority of posts in this thread. Countless suggestions have been made, and many people have agreed on possible solutions, but DE has done nothing except throw their hands up and say "we'll fix it next time, but we won't do anything else".

Also keep in mind that this thread was started by [DE] Megan, for the purpose of gaining insight about what kinds of changes we want regarding Prime Access. Everything that we have suggested is viable and can be carried over to the next Prime Access, ie. splitting up the warframe and accessories was good, but shorting us on 1600+ plat is bad. Many of us are simply unhappy with the "solution" we have been provided because we lose out on $80 worth of platinum for no apparent rhyme or reason.

Rather than look forward to the next Prime Access, we need to address the core problem; DE screwed the PS4 platform over, with no apparent reason for why. A simple explanation from a staff member would quell all of the confusion, and yet they remain silent. This thread is obviously monitored and staff members read it (a staff member created it for God's sakes), but they choose to keep the community in the dark. You can't tell me that you don't see a problem with that.

  5. I love these "forgiveness" and "let it go" posts. You're basically giving them full license to keep screwing you. Thank you sir, may I have another? And on that note ... DE didn't "put a lot of work" into this FTP game merely for our joy. They weren't just doing us a favor. They put this game on PS4 to make money. You're delusional if you think otherwise.

I'm also getting tired of the "this is what you asked for" posts. Getting short-changed in comparison with the PC kids is not what we asked for. We asked for separated packs, so we could choose what we wanted. They provided that, and I am please with having those options. I'm quick to praise DE for giving us options. What I didn't ask for was getting one less option that the PC users, as well as a lesser value.

Newsflash fellas - This is not about having separate packs, it's about not getting the same value as the PC users with our packs. PC users got separate packs too ... They just got more for their money. It's about DE's unwillingness to make it right ... Though they're probably too busy on the next PC update, so we probably shouldn't be too hard on them. Yes, that was sarcasm.

The only way to get this wrong righted AND keep it from happening again is to NOT be so quick to forgive and remain vocal. Right now, we are officially second-class citizens in the eyes of DE. It's clear as day.

Agreed 100%. I purchased the Inferno pack and it was great, well worth the money. Rhino Prime Access comes around and they screw the PS4 side over so hard.. But I bought both packs anyway because hey, who needs that extra 1600 plat when I've already used the 4300 I got from the Inferno pack. While I personally will be fine without the 1600 plat I should have received, it's the principle of shorting an entire platform that irks me. I will not be supporting this game any further, and you can bet that I'll be telling people how badly you (DE) have screwed an entire platform.

It is within your power to add the missing plat to the accounts that purchased both. Yes, we understand that adding this means that you may get complaints from people who bought single packs only, but you can explain that it is a bonus for buying both the Rhino Prime and the Accessory packs. It may be hard to do, but if you don't find a way to fix this, you WILL LOSE a lot of support, all thanks to this one significant blemish on your record. You could give away the next Prime Access for free, and it wouldn't make any lick of a difference because without fixing this, you're basically telling everyone that they're screwed, and that if it happens again, guess what? You're screwed again.

[DE]Megan, [DE]Rebecca, [DE]Steve, [DE]Grakk... everyone else at DE. To me, this looks like you are simply trying to squeeze as much money out of the PS4 community before you inevitably lose a good chunk to the other games that will be released soon. Well, with this colossal f*ck up, you can kiss the majority of your PS4 base, and pretty much ALL of your would-be supporters goodbye. I'm done defending and supporting a developer that blatantly disregards its community and thinks its okay to short them.

  6. Yeah, I believe you Megan.  Sony told you guys that there just wasn't room on the PSN store for a $140 pack equivalent to the Stomp package to be added.  I've been pretty close to quitting Warframe for a while now, and this is a true slap in the face.

    Agreed 100%.

  7. This is pretty ridiculous. It seems like Prime Access on the PS4 has been significantly devalued, but the price remains almost the same. That's fine if you can't have the Stomp package on the PSN Store, but that doesn't make up for the fact that we lose out on 1500+ plat for a $10 "discount". Prices should be reduced further, or the difference in plat should be distributed among the packs we can buy. Seems like a simple enough solution to me.

  8. Been farming Mimas survival (for the added chance of getting Orokin Cells). 35-40 per 35 min run. Just get your team to throw down waypoints on every osprey they kill. Rhino Stomp does slow them down enough to kill them, but they get much harder to kill around the 30 min mark. Took 2 full "clips" of my Hikou to kill one at minute 35.

  9. Since im expecting more nerfs for Brakk, at the very least, they should only nerf "new" Brakks, but not those who already had it before this patch.

People will complain about this even more than not getting the Brakk in the first place.

  10. If they made it a Brakk Wraith, then people would complain that they don't get the original Brakk. There's no getting around this, someone is always going to *@##$ and moan about not getting something they somehow feel entitled to. Such is life.

  11. He said its live in PS4 currently a.k.a. yes he appears in PS4

What are you going on about? I said in my own posts that I have killed it before. The question was not about whether the Harvester is on the PS4 or not, it was about its drop rates.

I even acknowledge its existence in the title...

  12. That's not what I'm asking. Whether it should be in the game or not, the fact is that it is in the game, and I have killed it before and received a Detron BP as a result. I read somewhere that it is guaranteed to drop at least one component or BP, so the fact that it didn't drop anything raised a flag. I basically want to know if I should be submitting a support ticket or not, but I need to know what it's drop rates are for the version of the game active on the PS4 before I do.

EDIT: Perfect, thanks for the info [DE]Megan.

  13. Even if the content is reopened (eg the Brakk) and the people who originally earned it get special syandanas or cosmetics or whatever, people will continue to complain about the exclusivity of those cosmetics. It's a never ending cycle that begins and ends with player greed. DE just needs to put their foot down and say something on the topic so all this pointless arguing can finally come to a close.
