I would personally enjoy the missions-popping-up-over-time concept. As a player who wants to experience various enemy levels, mission types, and faction types at random, this new star chart design would cater to players who like to quickly play missions with other players without a restricted goal (eg. getting a certain resource). In addition to revitalizing the abandoned star chart nodes with players, it would give the Warframe universe an "alive" feeling where missions would happen as an event rather than there always being a person to save or a target to defend.
- Quick, random missions
- Portrayal of an "alive" star chart
- No more wasteland nodes
- Caters to players who just want to play a random mission with other players
That being said, I can see this RNG based star chart not being friendly towards players who have not experienced all the mission type/level/faction combinations yet and farmers who are seeking specific resources or exp nodes. With the outrage over RNG continuing to plague the playerbase, adding more RNG in the form of mission selection could cut off certain player types. Additionally, it would be difficult to rework resources, mission restrictions (on new players), and who boss nodes should function alongside the pop-up missions.
- RNG may alienate a fair amount of players (farmers, mid-experience players, already salty players)
- Even more difficulty crafting weapons
- Hard to experience all mission type/level/faction combinations
- Difficult reworking various old features like resources, mission restrictions (star chart progression), and boss nodes
Overall I would like to see a the pop-up-missions type star chart but I believe input from the community is need to tweak the idea in order to satisfy more of the player base.

I honestly can't stand using a weapon without a punch-through mod on.
It allows for:
- Rapid successive kills by ignoring dead bodies (which usually block shots)
- Easy kills on enemies under cover
- Huge conditional, total damage multipliers depending on how many enemies are hit at one time
I find for the most part that it provides greater total damage since most enemies pour through choke points, allowing for multiple hits from a single shot. The only thing it doesn't work well against is bosses.

I this update doesn't have content I'll be disappointed. :P

Honestly I'm kinda glad it looks... um... aesthetically unique (ugly). If it looked as cool as everyone dreamed it would then you would virtually see everyone using the same frame.

Only snipers. No powers. All lvl 100 ballistas. Fun times.

That would be awesome. Just send me a pm when you have it.

Sounds good. I'll send a whisper next time we're both on.

Warframe is such a good game that it had even got me to put down Team Fortress 2 (a game that I played a lot way back when). Being such an fun and ever expanding product, Warframe holds the title of my most played game.
The funny thing is, I always thought Warframe was a pvp f2p game ever since I saw its first ad on the web. I quickly wrote it off as another $-locked game and didn't even glance at it again until Raptr held that "play x amount of hours of Warframe to get this y promotion free".
(...I never managed to get that promotional reward.)
Now Warframe is the only game I play consistently.
Thanks DE for creating this beauty.

Maybe they're going for the whole rogue-like design philosophy /jokingly

I'd like to see the more weak weapons making a return.
I would not like to see a hoard of people running around with Mara Boltors. *shudder*

Wait... what? V-v-vasto... prime?! *drool

The warframe community isn't just one uniform mass of thought; it's composed of many people with different opinions. It's not like the same person complains about lack of challenge then complains about too much challenge... well probably not.
I guess this isn't really the point of the thread though. Seems like this exists to get a debate on whether challenge or lack of challenge is better.
so...
uh...
...
(i like challenge)

So much prejudice in this topic. I find there is an almost even distribution of semi-soloists among the different frames.

I think ultimates are too spammable even though they are... well, "ultimate abilities". The other abilities are fine as an alternate play style to gun play but ultimates need to be a bit more occasional.

I feel good about it. Gives me a reason to log on in between updates.

I'm just going to put it out there that I think the powers needed a nerf. Spamming powers all mission makes for stale gameplay. That being said, I know there is actual constructive topics in the forums that actually highlight potential fixes to the issues rather than topics just for the sake of complaining.
Just need to say that so it doesn't look like every player is upset with the changes.

Honestly, I think the game could do with more RNG.
Wait, don't kill me. I meant level generation RNG, not loot RNG.
If levels had some randomly generated obstacles, rare hidden rooms, rare and special enemy spawns, environment effects, bonus mission objectives, tons more tiles, etc. the game could feel less grindy. Basically need enough RNG to make each run feel different and unique.

Found a couple very minor map holes in the Corpus Archwing map. I know basically every Warframe map has a ton of map holes scattered through out but I figured since everyone can fly, these holes could be exploited a bit more than usual.

I guess the only real use of Limbo is to get annoying players out of your hair... for 25 seconds.
...or to be a troll. That too.

Running a no shield nightmare mission solo?

Not sure if these were found already but...
