  1. There's a lot of choice in Warframe, but one feature I'd like to see is being able to try out things you don't have already.  So I want to try out certain Warframes or weapons to see if they're worth going for, but all I have to go off of is either getting to use somebody else's account which is unlikely, or player opinion which varies wildly depending on the subject.  The best way to form an opinion is to try it yourself, and in the absence of materials/space/time/etc, why not have there be a trial system?

I'm not suggesting a rental system since that would have its own share of problems (the cost, for how long, how does affinity work if you don't really own it, etc), but something like...maybe let us craft a Trial Key or make it a feature of the Dojo or something.  Let us pick our frame, our weapons, and let us customize the test conditions like...I want to run a mock Exterminate mission against low-level Grineer using a Mag equipped with a Strun and Aklato with an Orthus, no Sentinel.  Performance doesn't impact player's stock of Revives, no affinity is rewarded, and no resources drop.  The idea is to get real-world testing conditions but make it so that people can't just sit and farm a simulation forever and ever.  Or at least let them but have no real benefit other than personal experience.

The question then is limits.  When I do my Grineer-killing test run, am I using an unranked Mag and equipment, or rank 30?  Do I get to slot in mods, and if so, at what rank are those?  A taste of power with everything at max-power would be lucrative, but then it'd create unrealistic expectations when people go to make their own equipment.  But then making everything be initial-rank doesn't really give much for testing except against weak enemies lest the player face slaughter.  Having a slider of sorts would be the best bet, but then who would really want to run with un-maxed equipment except people taking things for a serious test drive?  Though those would be the most realistic of tests.

I think it'd be a decent addition since it'd help people figure out for themselves what a variety of things do and how they perform under specific circumstances.  But conversely, I can see it having an impact on the community.  After all, if you can do your own testing, why bother asking other people?  Maybe I'm wrong, and people will instead dream up "challenge setups" for friends and other people to try.  And maybe this can snowball into a dev-picked set of challenges with their own restrictions and stuff.

    What do you guys think?

  2. One problem I've had with the market UI is that if I want to buy a blueprint of something I want to start building immediately, I have to go back to my Foundry or Inventory and look to make sure I have enough materials beforehand.  It's nice the blueprints will say what is necessary, but I'd just like to know immediately if I already have enough things on-hand to get started right away or not.

Something simple like a check and x next to the required count for having enough or not, or even making the text green or red.  Or making it a bit more robust, a "requires" column with the current list we have already, and then a "have/on-hand" list that shows how many of each required material you have already.

I understand it's a pretty low request, but I'm still relatively new to the game and it's just a minor thing that bothers me is all.
