    Lotus dispatches ancient killing machines that know no fear, no remorse and lack even names. Beings armed with ancient Orikan Warframes, unexplained powers and surprisingly modern weaponry.

    Using these tools she: steals prisoners, kidnaps (complete with agonized terrified screaming) individuals, destroys ships, wipes out ships, bases and facility's to the last being, diverts ships, ruins research, steals cryo pods, data and Orikan artifacts and assassinates key members of the Grineer, Corpus and Infestation.

    Her methods seem clear, her reasoning to her tools is more in the way of an explanation rather then justification of the goals laid before them. Players being on 'the sharp end' so to speak, we only see the tactical end, and frankly its scary to think about.

  3. The text for interaction (picking up an datamass, stealth attacking an enemy, etc.) seems to align to the axis of the object it's attached to rather than facing the position of the player. This often makes it very difficult to see, and sometimes practically impossible.

     

    I ran into this issue with Scaleform (not sure if that's what you're using) with my own project a few years ago. I think I recall it being a fairly easy fix, but can't remember what that fix was. Sorry I can't be more help, hopefully this is enough!

    good place to show that is the Grineer asteroid base room tile with three levels, with its top level only accessible by an elevator. (as far as I can tell) The button (one of those lovely non green ones) displays 'call elevator' at the base of itself, rather then by the button, which has left several groups I was with stumped on how to get up there. The elevator button on the platform itself exhibits similar behavior.

  4. hmm i have something similar happened to me last time.

     

    what i do is i took all out those mods, click apply, log out, then log in and when i go check my rifle again there are some mods still equipped.. so i took them all out again, click apply, log out and in and then the numbers were correct. maybe you can give it a try?

    I did it and it worked. There was a hidden level 7 Charged Shell mod equipped.

    had this happen a couple of times. Not sure what causes it. A quicker fix I found was to pull off all the mods, then apply. Once back at armory screen, head back into mods for the weapon (or frame!) and the buryed mods were visable. Once had THREE mods in the top left slot of my Lato.

  5. I've had this happen myself. Currently my working theroy was that it related to using abilitys/melee while being knocked down. Especially since being knocked down again cleared the issue in about 80% of cases. (the other 20% i couldn't find anyone to knock me down) Not sure what good it will do others, but thats the facts as I know them.

  6. I've noticed this too when trying to snipe Ambulas from too far away. It seems that after aiming at certain distance your gun no longer tracks your crosshairs. Instead, it keeps firing at the last point that your crosshairs were at, up to that limit.

     

    The image below demonstrates this. The red circle shows where the bullet actually hit, which is where my crosshairs passed over the range limit.

    Definitly fine work there spotting the oddity. Been having shots do odd things myself, but having not possessed accurate enough weapons to try ultra long range shots before this update, I couldn't be sure.

  7. joining this club. Gotten the zero box on shotgun. (seems to only be shotgun ammo, odd as that is)
    Given that a single box is the reward for the other ammo types, and never more then that, I would say that it is meant to be a single box. (I imagine that some day we may all find 20-50 boxes in our inventorys when they retroactively reward them)

  8. Thats 1 of his abilities, to create copies, they dont do dmg either. Just there to be decoys.

    they don't deal damage, but they do interrupt shield recovery. Hence why I terminate them with extreme prejudice. 

  9. I would like to see this as a weak base weapon and then have several polarized slots. (perhaps include a note on how Teeno use superior construction methods) since as far as i know the lancers don't use mods, this would make the weapon viable for player use without making it into a death machine requiring rebalencing.

    if the Grakata had one slot of each polarity, that would likely make it the premier 'magikarp power' gun, weak without mods, but with some levels and sufficient mods placed into it (possible because of the polarity slots) it would tune up to something impressive.

    plus the idea of the enemys mass produced junkagun also being one of the Tenno's late game doom machines amuses me.

  10. going to say that I agree with the general sentiment of the OP. Losing everything save XP on an abort or disconnect or mission killing bug hurts rather to many people for solving the Chronus farm and boss kill disconnect problems.

    Mods and xp being kept is enough for me to feel fine.

    I honestly had not considered the result of this change on Defense missions, and it definitely discourages fighting on.

  11. Doing a corpus mission the other night I heard firing without anyone being in a room, so I look inside and get bindsided by a charger. Corpus Vs Infestation going on in there. Then we get the artifact and the pointer to extraction leads through that area. The tilesets change to infestation as we chewed our way through the corpus and then fought infestation until extraction. Was neeto.

    Then came a mission that claimed to be Grineer. Moment we get there it's all infested tilesets and chargers everywhere. We blast through most of the level worth of rooms and suddenly a roller shows up, Lancers supporting it, we cut them down and move to the next room. Infestation tileset ends and one room of grineer later we see the extraction. Instantly I think aloud. "No wonder they were here, we must have gotten here after they were pushed back to this room by the Infestation and Lotus didn't know about it ahead of time."

    Que my friend saying "oh sure, or the RNG decided to screw with us." But still, the fact that it seemed logical was awesome.

  12. <p>Have to chip in my 2 credits here. The new tilesets, especially the outdoor ones, are awe inspiring. Actually had people on my skype call bug me to get moving because I was spending so much time looking at them. Once the way-point issues are worked out so they are easier for people not used to them to navigate these will be primo material.</p>

    <p>Heck, the immense room with the moving conveyor belt on the asteroid bases alone dropped my jaw.</p>

    <p>The Corpus tileset for defense with the two duel level bridges and the over-watch on the cryo pod prompted me to spout aloud. "Oh I am so saving up for a sniper rifle to use here."</p>

    <p>Had people commenting "Hope we get to shoot that down" on seeing the work ship/drop ship in the IMMENSE hanger bay tileset. (seriously, that thing is basically an entire Halo multiplayer map in size!) </p>

    <p>I think working on some more ship tilesets (since they seem to be Ship, Asteroid Base and Corpus ground installation thus far) would help keep those fresh and keep the suddenly cramped feel of them meaningful rather then feeling old. (that said some of those have pretty big rooms in them, but they are the exception, which I am fine with)<br />

    it's gotten to the point where I actually want the location to be listed along with the faction so I know what to bring.<br />

  13. Damaging abilities still work 100% on him.  Its utility abilities such as decoy that he is immune to.

    he is also immune to being the target of Trinity's Link power. Haven't had the chance to see if the cuts through the invincibility of Blessing as well yet, but he at least taunted me about the power not working. (thank you DE, would have reported it as a bug without that)

  14. this is especially a problem with the Bo Staff, since that is the whole thing going for it. I have noticed that some enemies like infested ancients simply don't stagger to that weapon at all. (yet sometimes stagger to bladed weapons, not sure on that one) and frankly enemies that don't stagger when you hit them in melee are frustrating when every melee hit with a rifle butt staggers you.

    which is nice, but the time this happened to me was a defense mission. A 'siege' mission with 6 players would be a nice option to try out. If only so we can see mass warfare vs Tenno. (heck, bump it up to 7 and you could make some fun references)

  16. I just spent 40ish runs trying to get a Volt Systems and it hasn't happened yet. The RNG just gets catty once in a while.

    ya... I just call RNG Tabris. It fits, a creepy guy who always smiles and screws with you for kicks.

    I ran a good 30 attacks to get a single systems BP before. Speaking of, anyone else think that the BP for systems is more rare then the other two parts? Everyone I chat with on boss runs seems to be after the systems BP...

  17. I keep forgetting block even exists!

    since it seems to have no effect against any form of attack, I do too. It also drains stamina as fast as sprinting does. I remapped my block key the first day, expecting that the awesome looking animation done when lancers fired at me while I was blocking to do something. Thus far it seems to do nothing, which is a pity. The ability to melee and block the Grineer skana using boss would make that a fun challenge  (beating him without using a ranged weapon that is)
