  1. Yeah, she just somehow convinced us to obliterate the civilization we were supposed to protect.

If you made me aware that an entire race believed that everyone else was beneath them and that I was being ordered around by them and they also happened to have multiple races as slaves I'd probably murder em too.

Yea... she just erased our memories

    Did she? Source pls.

  2. Redtext got burned because of that promise you know that right? Do you know why? Because of the promised "Special" alert. Sorry you cant understand that.

Glad to know you're one of those edgelords though, have fun being edgy in life.

Do you know what edge even means. Lol.

Also old posts are old, but I'll entertain.

"Sorry you can't be appreciative or know what effort and reward is." Welp, that's about it.

  3. I was talking about people saying that "getting the updates first is a benefit".

I was not asking for a solution to play the game bug-free.

Nice work, interpreting the wrong idea.

Do you really believe that getting updates first is a benefit?

I mean the gap between updates are more or less same. If we get 4 months to play new update, so does consoles. Maybe, its January-April for us, whereas its February-May for consoles.

"my point was that we are the ones that get the bugged build."

I don't know what else I'm supposed to get from that. You should've said that in the first place?

It is a benefit. We get things quicker. We get to enjoy said things quicker. Consoles will forever be behind because of the certification process for patches that exist due to Sony and Microsoft.

It does exist, I managed to roll it for the first time two days ago. Unfortunately I could not take advantage die to a tight budget. Which means I may never see it again.

Just realized I sound like a crazy old man telling stories.

"I saw it I did! It rolled through at least a Gorgon, Glaive, and Scindo BP but there it was bright as day! Right before my eyes!"

  4. Actually, logic would dictate that DE would take more time to play test their updates before deployment.  They've already set up a beta-beta test team to catch most of the glaringly obvious bugs before it gets sent out.

The obvious, glaring bugs are found through that process but other ones are not because you don't have the entire PC player base as bug testers essentially.

If they also took a longer time to deploy the update you'd have a few bad apples marching around demanding quicker updates.

    Point: DE will never win.

    Sigh.

90% of the bugs we get with a major update are fixed when the same update is released on consoles a month later. This is because all the hotfixes we get over a period of like 1 week or 2 weeks are bundled together when the major update is released on consoles.

Are you new to Forums? Do you not know how updates work for different platforms?

Okay...? You are asking for a bug free update. I have given you a possible solution. Am I wrong? Maybe in the sense of waiting till it is released on consoles, that amount of wait time is indeed unnecessary because you are able to skip around the certification period. I amend my statement to: "Wait 2 weeks after it is released."

As far as I can see you provide no solution yourself.

  5. Amazing, best solution ever. /s

Seriously, your solution is so ridiculous, I don't even know what to say.

Hold up. Your issue is that you get the buggy version first. If you got said version moderately bug free second, logic indicates that consoles would get that buggy version first. Meaning you would have to wait the same exact amount of time as if you would have waited for consoles to get that update.

    Bruh.

  6. Try reading maybe. It does wonders.

Anyway, I will quote the part again-

"And don't even try to argue that the release candidates of the major updates are not buggy on PC. Seriously, I have been here from U9 and I am yet to see one update where every single thing added in an update was playable. There will atleast be one thing that will be broken. And I don't blame DE for this. I know the first release is supposed to be bugged, my point was that we are the ones that get the bugged build."

"Try reading maybe. It does wonders."

"Don't play until it's released on consoles then."

  7. I will be more than happy if DE decides to release the buggy updates for consoles first and gives us the polished updates, bundled together to us at a later date. I don't care when updates come, all I care is that I should be able to have fun with the new update.

And don't even try to argue that the release candidates of the major updates are not buggy on PC. Seriously, I have been here from U9 and I am yet to see one update where every single thing added in an update was playable. There will atleast be one thing that will be broken. And I don't blame DE for this. I know the first release is supposed to be bugged, my point was that we are the ones that get the bugged build.

And about consoles getting not-so-nice skins - Atleast they get something, what do we get?

As I said, people will call me greedy even if I ask for something as trivial as a sigil as a token of being a direct DE user and not a steam user.

If you want DE could pull a Killing Floor 2 and take 4 months for a content pack that is completely bug free and almost entirely balanced from what I can tell.

It's PC. It's video games in general. It's coding in general. They will always be buggy before, during, and after anything. People will find every single last thing to nitpick DE about these days. If it isn't one thing it will always be another.

As you said nothing, the problem isn't you asking for something, the problem is your complaining about not having exclusives or just getting more in general. Appreciate what you have already, and what is confirmed in the works, try that.

  8. All those people saying PC players get all the contents first, PLEASE STOP.

We get more bugs than updates. So much so, sometimes, its unplayable for a week.

On the other hand, consoles get the best possible build and that too with a huge number of updates bundled together, albeit at a later date. Though, I fail to understand how that is a concern, since consoles started playing way later than PC.

Phased and Rubedo Skins are exclusive to Steam, Snipetron Vandal, Brandal, Lato Vandal will likely never return, thanks to DE's stubbornness.

Founders' item will and should never return. The only thing the non-steam PC users got was a Braton Skin and a AKLato skin, which, btw, won't return as well. Thank DE, at least now I can use IAHGames skin on Braton Prime.

Honestly, yeah, the users who use DE's default launchers are the ones who get the least amount of exclusives. It's like we get punished for choosing DE's default launcher, even though we, along with Steam users, actually playtest new updates.

Even an exclusive sigil for users that use DE's default launcher would have been enough for most of us, but, oh well, we can't ask for that otherwise people will say we are greedy.

Oh the release build of new updates are buggy? Don't play until it's released on consoles then. Should be fine.

OP's point was that consoles keep on getting exclusive things over and over, when in reality they get a few not so nice skins every who knows when and PC has had a lot more. Lay off the greedy milk.

  9. I voted against Greedy Food every time. This greedy thing has gone on for far too long. Instead of focusing on improving the game they are continually making the community vote for some nonsense and going so far as to make announcements in game to encourage voting.

Why don't you let us vote which ability we want to see on the new WarFrame. Vote on what we want for the next Baro?

Vote on what ability? "HE ISN'T BROKEN ENOUGH. USELESS FRAME. MASTERY FODDER. IT'S NOT EXCAL. IT'S NOT MESA. DE GAVE US USELESS OPTIONS."

Vote on Baro? "WHERE IS PRIMED STREAMLINE. WHERE IS PRIMED STRETCH. DE GAVE US USELESS OPTIONS."

That's why they don't let you vote.

  10. This. It annoyed/bugged me to no end when syndicate missions were introduced and Lotus was still the one giving commands. I was really expecting the syndicate leaders to be the ones talking.

Then again, I know how much voice work that must be. But dang would it be cool.

I'm just imagining the Red Veil's response to G3 Appearing.

Instead of Lotus telling you to run he'd probably be telling egging you on to show what happens to these moths get too close to a fire.

"Reveal unto these poor souls the Truth. Who truly is the hunter here."

  11. I wanna attach the sentinel to my Kubrow. It'd be like mounting a laser to it.

Fricken dogs with fricken laser beams attached to their foreheads!

On a side note, I also imagine something similar to how the Elcor from Mass Effect fight.

  12. DE really has a bad habit of doing this. I'm just picturing the higher-up Grineer and Corpus giving commands to their troops...

SURVIVAL - "We're going to choke out the Tenno. Now that that's settled, strap on your life support packs and go in and fight them. Don't you dare ask questions about why we need to send in troops when the lack of oxygen would take care of the Tenno anyways."

EXCAVATION - "The Tenno need batteries. Now that that's settled, I want all of our heavy units to strap on some batteries before going in and fighting them. Don't you dare ask questions about why you need the batteries in the first place."

You have a point with Excavation but I thiiiiiiiink they would notice the Lotus beaming in life support to us with no way of them stopping it.

  13. well, being horrid doesn't mean it can't be fun ;)

Maybe even a special mode for exterminate missions that 'counts down' the the enemies when reaching certain numbers.

    (when a few enemies left)

"Almost there, almost there. (bad Ordis voice) NOW HURRY UP!"

    (when one enemy left)

"Last two, well, last one actually. We can't have you killing yourself, can we?"

    (when all enemies exterminated)

"(bad Ordis voice)yes, Yes, YES!!! Mwahahaha. ALL DEAD!  (good Ordis voice) eh hem.. except you that is. well done operator, mission accomplished."

oooooo yes. I like those. Plus his super calm and robot-y voice is a good mission operator second to Lotus to be honest.

What if Lotus and Ordis had conversations? =D

  14. Aye, passing through the Rails - due to the the Rails use Void energy - makes them infertile - probably WAS meant to kill them, but they managed to overcome ALL but that last little detail. Or perhaps it never WAS meant to kill them, only rob them of their ability to reproduce - as a race that reproduces asexually (i.e. when they're cut up), this would mean that the Orokin could simply have unleashed their technology against the now-barren Sentients and destroyed them without fear of making two from the one they just blasted in half.

But... things seemingly didn't go as planned.

The fish comment I think is, personally I think the lizard bit's in reference to how we switch our Suits (like a Lizard shedding its skin).

I thought it was mentioned that the Orokin designed the Sentients to be made infertile as they passed through the solar rails so that when they reached the other system the orokin wanted to colonize they wouldn't be able to take over and would just be another slave race?

Or that they were made in the other system and same rules so that they instead wouldn't be able to invade our system to take over seeing as they were AI.

  15. Simaris calling out that you've found it is of little use if you don't have the sound on and it's too busy to read the little chat head that pops up. I think that's probably more of an issue with Lotus not shutting up and constantly telling you useless information "Oh look, the grineer are coming" - Well no S#&$ they're coming, there's 50 all around me. She has never said anything of use. She would be 1000x more helpful if she only spoke when you actually needed to know something like when there's 20% left in survival.

The giant icon is actually really easy to miss. This game has icons all over the screen so after a while they just blend in and become another random icon to ignore.

As for having a name? I don't even know who Vey Hek is and I've killed him probably 200 times. I literally have no idea what he looks like. Is he Grineer? This game doesn't have memorable characters at all. The game play is exactly the same for named and un-named characters; keep shooting, eventually they'll die. There is literally no strategy required. Even if they have boss fights, there's usually so many minions around that ruin any kind of strategy play that it ends up being, "Shoot everything until nothing is moving."

So, uh, why do you play the game if its that much of a chore from what I can tell from what you're saying. The giant Simaris popup isn't that hard to miss either seeing as how he's got an extreme close up, not surprising from how he treats us in the relays.

The queues are there, because you choose to ignore them, especially when you turn your sound off, doesn't make it in any way the game's fault lol
