you can use either use a program to do so like ccleaner or do it in your browser.. in which do you use.

yep, still tring to dl what ever its trying to dl.... can't stay connected to the servers to get content, am i just getting the server thats full of the a d d special hampsters...

This is not that bad imo. The worst launcher I've been using was from Planet Side 2. There was over 5gb of data to download and I had so many interruptions I was very close of abandoning it, after that installer had lots of errors. After all that I played game for about 20-30minutes and gave up on it as I was too tired to play it and wasted like 5hr's of my saturday just to download and install game
Thing is i don't have any issue with PS2 launcher update, or Vindictus, Loadout, Hawken, Elsword, Path of Exile, Diablo 3, and a bunch of others... only Warframes for some reason, not asking for a launcher overhaul just the capability to update manualy.

I have never had any problems, and usually find the launcher adequate.
Not everyone has this problem, you don't be happy because I'm jealous.
would love to have a manual update files too.
with the old launcher, i was having strangely slow download speed, when i can normally have 50KB/s, the launcher speed is only 1 - 10KB/s; which was fixed a few patch ago.
with the new launcher just now, the same problem comes back. A friend with 1.5MB/s only able to get maximum speed of 10KB/s.

Yep, same here had that problem then was fixed then sense the Vuaban patch I got the DL prob back... when it does connect for me it will start at 300kb/s thentrickle down to 0 and fail to download.

Is there anyway we can get manual update downloads... this launcher is crap, every update even the 5mb ones i have to fight for hours to get it to install without it failing or not able to connect to your servers. This is the only update launcher that I have issues with trying to download and install small updates... this current one i have been fighting sense it went out and the longest took me 3 days to get it to go. I have all ports open, no firewalls, no virus scanner... I just tried updating through steam and when it was done I launched and now have a 1.5gig download that refuses to stay connected to your servers to get it... i have over 230 hours played and am finally getting sick of when i have time off to play it i have to fight to install a 5mb update. By looking at the forum I'm not the only one that has this issue so is it by any way possible to let us manually update Warframe and save some of us the headache of wondering if the launcher will work or not.

i meant like what what browser, internet explorer, firefox, chrome..... all in all ccleaner is the easiest for clearing temps and cookies, as well as fixing regi files... you can get it here http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner , i have the same problems with this launcher as well for updating, i restart clear temps and cookies and just hope it goes through and installs, if it still doesnt work put a ticket in following the direction on one of the pinned topics at the top of this forum.
