  1. Mag's pull I agree with (I do troll a little bit with pull, but not much lol) - but her crush? It just holds enemies still in the air, makes it easy for other's to kill them before she can finish the ability. Not sure how that could be annoying, except to the person actually playing Mag.

because the Crush kills everything lol but that is like any ult ability, i suppose that was a bit bias =P

  2. You can few the best and worst times by going to your profile in-game (clicking the bar on the top left that you usually click for mastery tests) and going to the leaderboards. It will have scores from past and current events and all the Survival/Defense times by individual persons or clans.

can you view others? like by a clan or personal basis?

I'm mostly just trying to see how far someone can go and how much further i might be able to go with a good squad =P

you know for challenging fun =D

  3. So im getting pretty Modded up and building a nice arsenal with most r10 mods done.

I don't really have a clan to play an actual role planned mission with, so my missions have been whatever random people i have ended up with and my records are:

Survival tier 2: 1 hour and 15 mins

    Defense tier 2: Round 45

How far have you all gotten with planned groups?

Or is there a way in game to view this statistic?

  4. Nova is a ton of fun when playing her, I tend to value the debuff and slow more than the boom, so i modded her with Overextend to decrease the damage and pretty much Debuff anything 58m away and then everyone benefits with 200% damage and the gratification of seeing the boom when they kill stuff.  Also help dramatically defensively due to the slowed attack speed and movement of all enemies.

Also i see Mag as being more annoying with her crush/pull abilities, there is nothing more annoying then trying to shoot enemies flying all over the place constantly.

  5. you know now that we have a "stalker" type enemy for the tenno, corpus and gren (gust 3 is an event but its like the stalker), maybe we need a infestation type stalker, like an overlord or something =D trying to remember in halo if there was a commander type thing, besides the main brain.

i think there are tons of infestation mob ideas out there anyways so just an off topic thought

  6. In fact, with the lore we got in Ember's codex plus what the Stalker said in his speech we can say that the Tenno are basically like the Spartans if they were &!$$ed at Halsey instead of thinking of her like a mother.

Ninja Spartans =D that is seriously an oxymoron lol

Cant remember (need to go back and replay the whole series (again)) though didnt the covenant unleash them on atleast one occasion?

Its caused by a energy eminating by a marker originally, and then later on virally. http://deadspace.wikia.com/wiki/Necromorphs

maybe i need to try and play that again =P

    CONGRATULATIONS!

YOU HAVE REVEALED THAT GAMES STEAL IDEAS FROM (*are inspired by*) OTHER GAMES!!!

    WHAT WILL YOU DISCOVER NEXT?

thank you for your formal congratulatory post, i feel like i did something with my day now =D

  7. Double WRRRRRROOOOONNNNGGGG

"As the Forerunner-Precursor war drew to a close, the few remaining Precursors that were pushed out beyond the edges of the galaxy to Path Kethona sought vehement vengeance against the Forerunners. A few Precursors were spared by the Forerunners, while others became a dust which could regenerate into their past forms. Over time this dust became so corrupted that it could only cause horrific diseases. The Precursors saw a chance for revenge and so they purposed the Flood to destroy the Forerunners as a final act of vengeance against them."

ya what he said.... THATS NOT THE POINT OF THIS THREAD!!!

  8.

    WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRONG

The flood were not created as a weapon they were a parasite found by the forerunners which they attempted to contain and study inside the Halo rings. That said i really think we need more infestation types.

im trying to abbreviate here... but in technicality, The Precursors technically unleashed the Flood on the Forerunners after they themselves were pretty much extinct.

  9. That's kind of like saying "hey, hey guys, does the warframes kind of remind you of ninjas?"

not really in the least bit....

but if i go solo as loki or ash with throwing stars, yes =D

Anything other than that no, but then again we are "space ninjas" maybe they just have different rules to being stealthy.... like rocket launchers... or take out the whole ship before the rest of the fleet arrives kinda stealthy-ish....

  10. The Flood (Halo universe)

Just incase you live under a rock, the Flood are an abomination race in the Halo universe that were created as a weapon and accidentally unleashed across the universe.  They are parasitic and have a hive mentality governed by a stronger single mind.

So just thinking about this, the Infestation seem to have similar characteristics to the Flood, minus the fact they don't pick up weapons and attack you, they swarm and the ancients seem to be a "stronger" minded leader and they run up and explode.  It is a bit of a stretch but i can't seem to shake the idea when i'm playing now.

    SOMEONE PINCH ME!

Anyone else see this when they are playing? or has this been discussed before?

  11. aren't the stug and castanas kinda idk, like grenades? this kinda reminds me of that idea to add a mod that causes triggered explosives to detonate on proximity.

actually Vauban has two different grenades, shock grenades and vortex grenades =D

while i would like the idea, i feel like we would just turn this game into halo somehow... i can see the halo ring flying towards us now....

holy crap anyone ever notice how the Infestation kinda remind you of the Flood... DEAR GOD!!!!

  12. definitely like the idea of transferring the forma spent on single version of weapons to the akweapons, that just seems logical to me in a way.

However, i don't think we should just be able to strip weapons that have forma on them, due to the fact that your melding the forma to create a new weapon, its not just a mod you can switch out, leveling the weapon up to 30 again each time makes it seem more like your refining the weapon.

though I have my own frustration with the cestra, since I had to use my 3 forma'd one to make the dual one, i think when built you should get to choose your affinities from the previous used forma.  so if I have a 4 forma cestra then I should have 4 forma on my dual one.  I already put in the work to upgrade so why not?

(note: yes i could have made two base cestras but i really didn't want to wait for the construction so i figured im not going to use my single one anymore since i have a dual one now =D and i was right lol)

When if comes to the warframes, i could see this being applied if you had to use the previous warframe into the prime version but since you don't idk what to do, I have a 3 forma'd Rhino and I'm considering having to do that all over again with the prime version just for the "swag"/"bling" appearence.

  13. I fell in love with the Castanas immediately after I got them. Its a bit strange how it seems to quite often proc electric but since its a stun-proc, its not all that bad. IMO electric damage is the most versatile one out there. It'll kill most units at one go if you stick your whole clip (well, depending on your mod loadout). Not to mention it also does a somewhat AoE effect. Best part is that if it doesn't get the big guys in one go, the stun gives you enough time to reload then throw a couple more. So far I've never had any major hesitation bringing them anywhere.. Well, aside from several accidental muck-ups.

Speaking of muck-ups, the Penta is quite possibly the most easiest gun to screw up with, but at the same time the best gun to screw around with. Its true about what people say that its a hard weapon to use, but its great fun unless you prefer the more direct aim-and-blast weapons such as Torid and Ogris. Controlled detonation will allow you to aim better for those precious headshots. Basically, its a hilarious weapon to use when you mod it to the point where the impact damage of the grenade does more base damage than your snipers.

I absolutely love explosives, but I'm a bit slippery with my fingers hence why I prefer the the two mentioned above, which have smaller blast radius compared to other explosive weapons (less space to kill myself in..)

I tend not to rely on Thunderbolt for several reasons. One being that it's ruled down to a random occurrence, and the other is just the DPS-crazed typical gamer part of me going "it deals too less damage at higher tiers". But altogether it can be a hilarious mod to use. Great fun! :D

havent thought of modding the grenade impact damage lol that sounds like alot of funnyness to be had!

Castanas seem like an unproductive weapon in the sense that small clip, low fire rate, flight time and detonation time all have a factor in your DPS but i find myself trying to have more fun in the game rather than just mod the hell out of the soma for instant death to everything.  it tends to make the game stale imo.  im liking the variety of the warframe arsenal from just being able to customize to much about alot of weapons, explosives are no exception to this.  I find myself using the Castanas like my personal pack of C4 most of the time =D try making a trap by using loki's illusion attaching 4 castanas to it wait for about 5 to 6 enemies to get close and BOOM! Ends up leaving a better taste in my mouth than just rapid firing everything to death.

thanks for the point of view!
