According to patch notes Update 26
Every melee weapon benefits from combo counter without having to expend it by providing a flat damage bonus.
"The Combo Counter will be getting a new functionality pass. Rather than just providing flat bonuses to damage, the Combo Counter will now also act as an expendable resource for new heavy hitting combat: HEAVY ATTACKS! "
Flat damage bonus from combo multiplier is effectively removed from glaive now , so getting a 12x multiplier does sweet FA for normal hits as (Removed Combo Hit Multiplier with
Glaive's hit damage. Only explosive damage will use the Combo Multiplier.)
I think just actually hitting a target without bouncing it of a rhino or an excals skull because they stand in front of players trying to hit something should be rewarded with the 12x damage on throw. Losing that damage because of said types of players who seem to like nothing more than standing in front of everyone and blocking actual combat from everyone else is more annoying than the odd few who were using glaives and enjoying them.
I cant see the problem letting glaives be unique now they are unique for quite a different reason.

One would have thought that considering it takes some good aiming skill to even throw your glaive at any distance , that getting high damage was risk vs reward, since while glaive is in flight you lose your block .
This change make absolutely no sense at all since glaives without combo damage multiplier on hits make this weapon worse than mk1 Bo.
Combo multiplier gives increased damage on every other weapon except glaives now? who makes these decisions? Please book them back into the hospital before more future "fixes"
So either revert the change OR gimp every other melee weapon from not using damage multiplier on hits as well.

Same could be said about your knowledge of warframes melee history . Started well before acolyte mods were even a thing before chanelling was a thing and charge attacks were the norm.
The simple fact is you played a version that had been refined for years before hitting consoles , now it has changed and you resist change so hard that you condemn anyone else who actually enjoys the change with your armchair maths as your guiding light.
Perhaps wait and try it for yourself before launching into full on it sucks theory.

I just want to know why charge attacks were changed from hold E to middle mouse button.
Seem to remember someone saying they didn't want to mess with controls because of learned muscle memory.
Holding E for charge attack for me was easier as that's how I learned to play when we originally had charge attacks all those years ago until channeling came along.
Its also difficult to use some of the new combo system because you have to basically stop moving entirely to use it but that's something I must learn to do more often.
Overall I rate melee changes as Good but not Outstanding .

The trivialization of the game cannot be linked to just 1 weapon and its riven.

Easier for people to complain in this day and age than trying to figure out a tactic that works.

My view is that better is a matter of personal preference.
As for the umbral forma , getting 1 umbral forma after 2 months grinding wont make anything replaceable for quite some time yet.

So far I have calculated ive had %6.222222 success rate getting a riven mod since they were introduced.(played everyday)
Id have to say RNG has not been kind at all to me for over 3 (almost 4 being tomorrow) weeks straight now.

4 straight weeks now without a riven mod from sorties played everyday.
If I happen to get one in the future I may consider playing more than 3 missions and quitting each day.

Never called any one specifically entitled.
I'm a clan of 1 who has played for years even I didn't have the resources to research it at 1st I persisted and got it researched.

This problem you speak off isn't a real problem at all. The problem is people want everything for free in as fast a time as they can get it.This is the only thing that leads to burnout nothing else.
Theres this thing called a sense of accomplishment which the majority don't care for, which is fine BUT complaining about getting something for free isn't going to fix anything.
Also they have admitted that the drop rates for resources to research is low and are looking at balancing the amount of resources dropped for everyone to be able to aquire and enjoy the weapon.

The weapon is useable for all tiers of gameplay.
It gives health back on headshots and these headshots don't even have to be killshots.

No real point having over 100% crit chance go with the 1st one it amps dreads damage perfectly

up to you but I personally would not have rolled it at all
the benefits of viral would not kick in until you reach an extreme high level considering dread being high crit it 1 shots most things up to lvl 80+ anyway

Is there going to be tougher measures taken against bullying and harassment other than telling people to add such perpertrators to ignore list.
Because at the moment even IF you take these matters seriously the only answer I have been provided with is add the to ignore list.
This action is far from taking the matter serious and is sweeping it under the rug for such people to target some other player.
Also on the Asia/oceanic server your guides of the lotus have completely abandonded us, leaving it up to other players to help newbies and 99% of the time the new guys just get bashed down by the exact people you tell everyone to add to ignore list.
Show everyone were the morale high ground is instead of generating a generic e-mail telling people to just add them to the ignore list and carry on.
Also I have noticed your system for aquireing riven mods is intentionally rigged so that only a select few will ever have a chance of getting any at all making certain players extremely rich with platnium while the rest of us only get rich with endo.
Is this really how you expect people to experiment with weapons not used regularly by not even giving them a chance to get a riven mod ?
The ideas you have are great BUT at least give players a chance of getting at least 1 riven mod per week that way you can at least stem the tide of players not getting any at all no matter how many sorties they do.

Riven mods are treading down the dark path of pay to win.
gear re rerolling has been tried by other games and failed miserably (The Division)
So now we are at the point of FREE GAME FOR EVERYONE FOREVER UNTIL.....
Love the game hate the idea of pay to win mods (since I haven't gotten one in weeks apart from trade chat)
The idea of rng mods is insane book yourselves into the nearest asylum asap.
Whats your next great idea a subscription just to play for the more desired items.
The hole you dig is the one you end up trapped in and with an increasing number of peeps leaving to play other stuff that hole may just be deep enough not to be able to get out of.

Not playing it works amazingly well also.
Not subjecting myself to it to have a chance at a mod that is pretty much unobtainable and when unlocked unusable.
Only the brown nosers seem to get riven mods.
And for that reason I boycott sorties in their entirety.

So either DE is wrong and screwed the pooch or your just not noticing the FLAT damage bonus. FLAT damage means a set amount and that's it.
