Is the pic not showing? It displays it on the post for me - anything I can do to make it show up?

  3. You don't think that the new animations give Excalibur a different feeling? I haven't put in a ton of time on Excalibur, but it definitely felt different for me.

As for detail, I feel the interaction with Ballas was quite unique, and definitely made the quest much more engaging (in terms of Komi). Being locked in a bed and only able to watch leaves you with a sense of helplessness - much more so than watching a cinematic would. Apart from this, the way that the story is told is captivating. Brief regards slowly reveal more of past events, and leave you wanting more. While the actual story is gripping, I feel that the way in which it is told is what really sets it apart.

As for all of the "what did we sacrifice?": There are a few things that stand out to me. Ballas' sacrifice of Margulis, and the suffering he endured with that being his only memory. Birthing the infestation gardens from the ruins of cities is a large sacrifice of culture and history. The sacrifice of the people infected.

Something that I have not seen mentioned anywhere, that I find to be quite interesting, is the sacrifice to make Warframes. Not that they were blossoming with moral character previously, but to willingly create and torture warframes in an attempt to control them is a major sacrifice of morality as a society.

Much of what makes stories gripping is what is alluded to, and what is not said. If everything were plainly laid out, it would be boring. The way that this quest answers some questions, but raises countless others is what makes it so enjoyable.

  4. I played through the new quest last night immediately after it was live, and it was fantastic! Well worth the wait. The gameplay was incredibly immersive, and the story was gripping - from 'beginning to end'. There obviously is so much more going on, and the quest only leaves you with more questions, which is a good thing. It has been a long time since a game's story has captured my attention, and boy this one has.

The cinematics are beautiful. Everything is so well staged, and the art is breathtaking. Really, the entire story is captivating. While playing the quest, you can really tell how much thought went into every little detail. Each aspect was well thought out and labored over. Overall, I am incredibly impressed by the entire story and gameplay.

    Spoiler

The only minor 'spoiler' I'm going to discuss is Excalibur Umbra - which is amazing! The model, sounds, animation, and overall feel of the warframe is borderline blasphemous. It almost feels too good!

Thank you DE for all of your hard work over the last few months on this quest, and thank you for all of your late nights to get it shipped last night!

PS: To everyone that was expecting more content, they said from the beginning that it's a quest - not a major content patch. As was stated yesterday, it was developed over the last few months, not years. Appreciate the content for what it is, and the work that went into it. Do not judge it by your expectations that were blown out of proportion.
