PC - 7.8 million players VS PS4 - 332,631 players. Who has the biggest voice?
How many active on both sides? I am one of the 7.8 million PC players too but haven't logged more than an hour on my PC

That is not good news suzook.
I did have the "failed to connect to server" error once today. Don't know if it saved my end of round mod cards and rewards but it did save my progress in the alert mission 1 of 5.
That's the first time I've had any error since the patch. I used to get the failed to connect repeatedly when in the arsenal/modding.
Lets all hope they are aware of what's going on "behind the curtain" and are working feverishly to fix it.
Yeah for me the problem got worse after the update. I tried it out last night and was used to 70-80% failure rate in group play but had 100% until I switched to solo.

Just to update. If you've followed this thread you've seen that I've posted quite often and have been afflicted with the issues of "can't save progress" "lost connection to server" and "passed rank test only to not have it save" rather repeatedly.
Today the update went live; 12.4.6
I played for about 8 hours without one of the above issues. I'm very happy to state that as there was NO WAY I could have played 8 hours previously due to the frustration of losing items I farmed for or losing progress in changing/ranking mods only to lose connection and all progress unsaved.

Update 12.4.6 did not fix the connectivity issues. In less than a minute I was logged out while reading the trading post. Same issues as before and I'm sure my completed missions will continue to randomly not save as well. Thanks for the dex furis though.
Same for me. Now instead of 80% of online matches failing it's 100%...

Yeah, even though the rage is well founded, the staff is already under heat and players that keep posting the same again are no help for this. Actually it's pointless to do it. Just stop wasting time and effort in farming and play on the low tiers, if you want to play at all, until it gets fixed.
I have to play solo to avoid the "Could not connect to server, progress was not saved!" error. Every once in a while I am OK in group but about 70-80% my missions now fail.
Posting about it constructively definitely helps IMO. If they know how often it's happening and under what circumstances. Yeah, some people are overly upset about it but at least the rest of us who are having this issue know its not just us. :)

Nah, they originally said they wanted crossplay. But the cards didn't fall in such a way as to allow that, as the builds have to be in synch. Sony's certification process pretty much means the builds will never be in synch.
Yeah they said a few devstreams ago that migration would happen before build sync. (Which may never happen IMO)

I don't believe DE was proposing cross play. Just PC player migration. I doubt many PC players will make the jump. Just those with maybe PCs with poor specs or a laptop that isn't that suitable for gaming.

If I play on my home wifi I get the issue every game. If I use my Verizon MIFI mobile hot spot no problems. There's probably something going on between the game, the PS4 and router settings. I've messed with my port forwarding and UnPNP settings but had zero luck. Oddly the game worked fine for a few days after the update and then it stopped working.

Last night I was able to finish my first mission without issue (i was like YEA!!) but after that each mission failed at the end. Going solo worked fine, but online groups and invite groups did not. I've tried all kinds of mission types (Void, Alerts, system nodes, etc.)I switched off my home network and used my Verizon MiFi card just to test it out. Worked fine. No drops. No lost loot. So I'm guessing this new release maybe has caused new problems or exacerbated old problems related to routers or TWC cable internet, etc.Today I messed with some router settings and again, first mission OK, the rest no dice.I have no problems logging in or starting the mission its always just at the end the progress won't save anymore.

We are already aware of the problem and have submitted a fix for this issue to Sony. As soon as it is approved, the hotfix will be released and the issue will be solved.Unfortunately we are not able to restore any items or mission results that have not been saved because of this bug. Your client was not able to communicate with our servers at the end of the mission and we therefore have no record of what happened.Please keep an eye on our forums to see when this bug is fixed:Again, we want to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.Enjoy Warframe!So I guess I will wait for now and play on my MIFI until the hot fix it installed. -

Recently when I go to the home page and click on the PS4 tab for news it's all in spanish. I checked my SEN account and it;s set to English. The little flag icon on the top of Warframe.com is the US/UK flag icon. If I click the PC news tab that;s all in English. Also if I log out of the site it reverts to English.
It's only the news section and only the latest Honoring the System news post. If I click into that story and look at the language options Espanol is crossed out like I shouldn't be able to select it.
I cleared out my cookies and cache and even tried a different browser.

It feels like this issue balloons out of control right around the time of a new update. For me its usually a rare occurrence at worst, but with the Tethra event it happened at least four times each day for the first three days. That being said I've come to expect that situation and thusly don't get bent out of shape over it.
Basically, if I had to take a semi-uneducated guess on the matter I'd say its related to peeps downloading the new update en-mass and, as more people have it and less need to do so, it happens less. With the current update in particular the problem has seemed to persist longer, most likely in part to a lot of people outright deleting and reinstalling Warframe because they misunderstood what was causing them to not be able to play when the PS4 1.62 update situation happened. Which made the high traffic due to downloading said update last longer... hypothetically of course.

That is interesting. I had a Sony update and a Warframe update that occurred a couple days after latest content update. I hope I don't have to delete, download, and reinstall the game.

By the way, if you get a "Host Migration" mid-game, might as well quit. You're gonna lose all your progress anyway.
Yeah I hate that especially in a defense mission. How can you tell who is hosting a mission? Any way? If I saw the host bail at say 15 waves I would bail too instead of losing progress.

Any news on the "Could not connect to server, progress was not saved!" Issue that happens after a successful mission?
Before this last update I maybe saw it a couple times in a hundred or two missions. Now I see it almost every time. I played 5 missions last night and only 1 saved.

It happens sometime's on PC but not often.
Also just because no member of DE posts on the threads does not mean they do not know about the bug, they do monitor the forums especially the bug sections trust me they know about the bug and if they have not already got a fix ready they are working on one.
Yeah I'm sure they have read it. However, I saw so many posts about it in the ps4 section and not even an acknowledgement that it was a problem. Not even yeah we see the reports not able to duplicate or not able to fix yet. Etc etc.

If it was happening once just every 20-30 missions I'd agree with you. However it started happening on about 80-90% of the time.

I posted in the bug forums as did others for a few weeks but I haven't seen any response from DE.
Basically you finish a mission everything seems ok, but as the mission stat screen comes up it's overlaid with an error.
"Could not connect to server, progress was not saved!"
In most cases you lose all your XP and any mods and loot gathered during the mission.
Any ideas ? Is this isolated to PS4 or do PC users get it too? For me it just started after the Tethra update. I saw some other posts in the bug forum that were started back in January.
