you cant rejoin a clan during the event and if u merged but set the wrong platform, u lost ur clan
How about those of us who were in giant clans at one point but were forced to leave because the ONLY person with decorative permissions was not active for 40 days
Plus side? A buddy on ps4 invited me and now I'm second in command in his, we may not get the gold statue but at least we will raise holy hell on that boss

luckily I started first on PC a decade ago and completely started over on Playstation and switch without ever migrating, so I'm not even part of this unfortunate potential issue. I was just having some empathy with those that, (in my opinion) are treated a little unfairly because I can understand a merge-ban if an account migration is present. in this mentioned scenario though, no account ever migrated to anywhere.

Not sure how that's unfair exactly. They released information on what the process was going to need first and foremost pretty early I'm pretty sure. Dev streams exist

You can do the linking and stuff from phone as well. You don't need to download or start the PC version of Warframe to link

I'll admit I'm impatient as #*!% when it comes to just sitting around, but cross save will most likely allow console prime access next phase, as for what everyone else is griping about, "shrug" not much care. People want to waste money let them. They clearly have the disposable income for it.

All you need to do is head to the website. Create a PC account and go from there no download game or anything. Can do this from phone as well

Ngl the amount of people getting bent due to the sheer volume of players that actually participated in migrating accounts is definitely insane. Not exactly sure what was the thought process there.... But I guess we'll be able to go without old account stuff

merging from what I read is you also keep the quest progression of the primary account the difference is you combine all your account inventories and currencies together in one account that is cross save
Edit: both options will still make your a cross save account at the end of the day they just do it differently. Link is for ppl that have pretty much no items/progress on secondary accounts you are just trying to make it so you can play on any platform.
Merge is combine all the items/currencies of multiple accounts.
Merging is also locked from those of us who migrated our accounts as well so we have the extra bit of fun to deal with

Here's hoping they allow prime acces buyers on console next cause I'm really REALLY hoping to bring my switch to playstation and not risk anything extremely screen breaking anymore on switch, the screen tearing was absolutely horrid, to the point I'm actually boycotting anything whispers in the walls rn until I have complete confirmation it won't happen anymore there

My main account was on ps4. I stopped playing around 2 years ago. And since then my ps4 has gone to the light at the end of the tunnel.
When I heard about cross save (about a week ago) I created an account on the nintendo switch in hopes I would be able to restore my ps4 account to the switch.
If I'm to understand it right, the new account is not eligible for merging, but what I want to know is if I delete the switch account, will I be able to recover my ps4 account to the switch after cross save has been fully rolled out?
Actually the account merging you should should still be able to do unless I'm missing something. It's only if you did the MIGRATION that you are locked out of switch

They actually did mention as to why, and it doesn't take rocket science once you realize the reason why itd cause problems. Back when we migrated data, we basically created a carbon copy version of our original account. Minus certain exclusive items. Meaning if we completed something like the sacrifice quest where we're supposed to have only 1 umbra, if we merged it would cause a error due to the fact we are technically supposed to have only 1 of him. That's my take and speculation as to why, I was a migrated user as well but tbh not to sad to overwrite my PC account at this point

A shame I had at 1 point the unlikely chance to get the founders pack, but was a middle school kid so didn't have the money, ah well. I kinda resolved to get every other prime since. More or less successful on that part

As far as your case I think you just keep your existing pc account and use account management to indicate your PSN account is your preferred primary when the roll out happens
Really does feel like a lot of holes in the descriptions, does that make it holy? Bad joke aside my only concern is linking not merging the the accounts. If I have to lose the sigils from the operations from before/directly after the game really took off I guess I don't mind but I'd rather not if possible
Just want to know if it's possible to leave PC out of the whole direct linking where stuff gets overwritten

Is there a way where I can just link only my switch and ps4? As I had migrated my PC to switch and didn't get to keep anything from the old alerts sigil/glyph wise I don't want to honestly lose those on my ancient PC account. Not that I'm ever returning to play on PC that is

Incarnon/altfire not activating while glaive is equipped? THAT EXPLAINS A #*!%ING LOT, i thought my controller was going ape S#&$ on me. As for the whole netracells thing, ive been getting rather decent drops from it, even 2 tauforged crimson. Not sure what peoples expectations are in a MMO game. Seriously thats part of any MMO is extreme grinding and crazy rng. But then again i guess in my case i just take what i can get
