  1. I haven't seen people hating on low damage teammates in a long time, and I've been in this for 4 years. Sounds like there's some A******s out there. Not everyone wants to Equinox and Nova all day. I'd rather focus on people who show up to sorties and AFK so they can get the reward while everyone else does the work.

I do like the idea of having other stats displayed at the end of the mission though:

    • Damage/kills done by pet
    • Healing Done
    • Revives Performed - maybe a "Field Medic" achievement on a per mission basis
    • "Assisted Kills"
    • Amount of time enemies are CC'd, along with a "Controller" achievement on a per mission basis
  2. Veteran player here.

    Events:

You might see a veteran with a stratos emblem on their arm - there used to be these (sometimes brutally difficult) events that had rewards and everything. I don't know where they went but I miss them. I can only do so many infestations at Cetus before that gets boring. Also, there are occasional Formorian and Jackal attacks (based on the indicators in the invasion mission section).

Frames: They fall in and out of favor over time. Wukong in particular is a good solo frame (like Ivara) and that might be why you don't see him. I've actually seen a resurgance of Ember players (been at it 4 years). Titania... I think her 4 needs work to really see more action. There was a lot of hope she would be great in the Plains and it turns out she isn't.

    Lore:

There's not a place in game where the entire story can be reviewed. But the lore is actually incredibly detailed and interesting. StallorD does a good job here, https://youtu.be/aAW1UxC_reo and the wiki authors also parsed it out pretty well.

  3. Yeah... enthusiastically dove into the new game mode. And crashed. Three times.

Let it be known I've never seen Warframe truly freeze. Not ever. I've seen login problems and issues with entering the Plains but nothing this overtly buggy. Sanctuary is unlpayable at this point.

Edit: I just want to add that the bugs don't start until round 10-12, i.e.; when you're actually invested in gains and you realize your time is completely wasted.

  4. Hi, you're not logged in so I'll leave a message here..

I'm a MR16 veteran with 2300 hours played. I've been in 2 clans, both of which fizzled out. It looks like my clan stopped playing when I did, since no research has been done since I stopped playing.

Well, I'm back from a year hiatus to resume my [almost] daily play schedule. In the past I contributed millions worth of supplies for research and helped newer players out.

I can't say I have all the frames anymore but I've got a solid roster containing most (now vaulted it seems) prime frames.

    My IGN is Schwood.

  5. He only shows up at the most inconvenient times. Like, while you're hacking a console in a spy mission. Or you're in a heated battle with high-level corrupted enemies. Or you're reviving a teammate. Or you brought your main weapon and a rank 0 sidearm and rank 0 melee weapon. The latter seems to be his favorite.

  6. Hosted last night with a friend, he put in the 100k. I put in 10k. We killed it. I got points and 200k, he got no points and no money.

Later, I tested solo with Trinity. Used faithful (10k), when it said "kill it" the robot took no damage for a good 30 seconds. Then the warning came up and I was able to kill it. Got no points and no credits.

Looking forward to a bug fix.

I'll keep testing, but with only 10k credit constributions.

  7. I agree with the OP. Snipers, daggers, scythes, etc. are pretty gimped.

I have a 4 forma Vectis and there's no reward for the sniper playstyle (unless you only do Spy 2.0 with Hush mod). I like the idea of bigger outdoor areas and enemies that spawn far away, that kind of thinking is what would really make snipers worthwhile.

Daggers have fast finishers. That said they need a little more reward for having to get that close, such as crit chance an increased chance at finishing moves.

Scythes need something unique, like a large amount of puncture damage or a high critical chance on certain moves.

  8. Nullifier shield has...   I dunno, "inertia". You shoot it, it shrinks, but not instantly.  There's a maximum rate it can actually go. With your first test you overkilled it because while it technically had more than enough damage to be collapsed but it was still in transition.  With your second test, you spaced out your fire so that you were riding its maximum shrink rate down to zero without wasting ammo and damage.

That's possible. I'm curious if other automatic weapons are wasting ammo. Soma? Gammacor, Amprex, Synapse?

  9. Before I post this to bug reports with screen shots, I want to see if anyone else noticed this issue.

The other night I decided to test which weapon is ideal for dealing with corrupted nullifiers. I searched through my weapons looking for the following capabilities:

    Automatic

    Multiple projectiles

Enough mod space to include magnetic damage

High Impact, but not too high (see Corrupted Nullifiers in the wiki; the shield cannot take more than 400 damage per projectile)

I settled on testing the Boar Prime first, along with my Synoid Gammacor.

The only fire-rate mod on my boar prime is Accelerated Blast. I modded for magnetic damage, fire rate, and had some room for a bit of fire damage, with 100% status. Fun! (if not optimal)

I grabbed Loki so I can move quickly, and remain stealthed so I can focus on the task at hand instead of fighting hordes of enemies.

    First corrupted nullifier:

I held down the trigger and dumped a whole clip from the boar prime, shield down, but the nullifier was still standing while the shotgun was reloading. A quick stab ended the problem.

    Second corrupted nullifier:

This time, I tapped the trigger, watching the projectiles cone out to hit the shield, and see each individual damage number when the shotgun bullets hit. After about half a clip, the shield was down. I still had enough shells in the clip to kill the nullifier himself.

I tested this again on the remaining nullifiers and observed the same results (for purposes of this post, I won't get into results of Synoid Gammacor. It performed as expected).

Does this seem weird? It seems strange to me. The rapid fire should take nullifier shields down quicker. Something's not right. Just because my fire rate is high, doesn't mean the games engine should be adding up all that damage into one calculation, thus losing damage by going over the 400 cap on damage the nullifier shield can take.

Any thoughts on this matter? I will try again with screenshots soon.

  10. Yeah before the new mod my personal favorite was negative duration with no t anky mods, you ise your abilities to give you survivability and I would take, not tank, less damage than something like an iron skin rhino and it would confuse them. It is still my favorite build personally but everyone wants the new mod card

    What is the traditional build?

  11. We had a decent group doing a T4 Survival.

As you can imagine, things started getting hairy around 34 minutes.

Mobs starting getting "jerky". This is a new thing I'm seeing in Warframe. It seems to lag more than it used to.

Mobs would have the running animation without moving, then jump forward in position.

This steadily got worse in the last 10 minutes.

Teammates went down, I revived them, but the revival animation stopped appearing, I couldn't even tell if I was reviving them or not. At 38 minutes, our Trinity went down, I went to revive her, spammed the button and nothing would happen. Framerate was getting low. Heavies, golden globes, ancients all over the place, it was getting really crazy in there. I was also playing Mirage with a Supra/Entropy build, but my system historically has handled intense things like this.

Anyways, after Trinity went down, she died because my revive wouldn't work. So I made a run for exit. I headed to the next room and my health+shields went from full to zero and I was down. I fired my Stug a few times to take down the nearby enemies until the timer ran out. I was planning to reset and finish the run for it.

The respawn box popped up, I hit yes and then...

    0 health, 0 shields.

    Camera pointed at the wall.

No warframe, no view of my teammates, nothing.

Then the mission ended. I saw the mission results screen, then I was sent back to my Liset.

Then the mission results popped up again and it was for the mission I ran *before* the T4 survival.

My squad gave me the loot list, I checked my foundry, and... none of the loot we won was there.

Pretty disappointing. I got none of the xp or rewards.

Not sure what that's about, but it's pretty disappointing this game's performance has gotten worse over time, not better, and culminates with a situation where I end up with nothing after 40 minutes of kicking &#!.
