  1. Sorry I didn't read it all but they are keep fixing bugs it's still in beta so it's normal.

Can't just slap "Beta" on a product that is taking cold hard cash from the public for over a year and have issues be excusable. If this were so all products would have the word Beta attached. The game has a wildly robust store front, and are constantly adding/cycling items for sale. Whether you buy it or not, one can not enter a store that has an Open sign at the front, and when they wish to issue a complaint they're pointed to the Beta poster on the wall.

  2. EDIT: While some players rise a good point saying that the Brakk is not like the rest of them because it is a completely new gun and a normal version but that being said, there now is zero valid resons to not release the Primed Chamber, I mean you might as well because hard work of the players mean nothing at all at this point.

Um, or~ you could just enjoy the fact Primed Chamber is still exclusive and stop whining. Saying "might as well" is a nice cover-up for the fact that it's still not given to new players, which is what you just spent the last paragraph and a half crying about in defense.

  3. Is it me, or this board has one of the most respectful communities I've ever seen? I know, random thing to say, but damn, you guys are ace.

Edit: And just to add myself ♥... I feel special when I run down a hall with my three star Soma. I feel strong, but I also feel reliable. Like I can really protect my teammates if they're down. It gives me confidence to face ANY challenge, instead of fearing I won't be able to protect my friends. ;-;~! I feel special when my teammates are really close to me in damage and perform well. knowing we all did our part and worked as a team. :O <3

  4. I think of us more of mercs for hire than a group of noble ninjas. Thats why we pick either corpus or grineer, not because we think one is right or wrong but whichever has the better battle pay. And if the other factions are the bad guys then why do we care if they decide to kill each other?

Because you used to be something more. The illusion of being a 'merc' is basically a metaphor for free choice. "Hello, you can have steak or chicken tonight, which would it be?" You choose chicken. "Great choice." This is free choice in action for you. You've awoken into a universe that has told you what you are, and what you should do. You can kill these people or those people. There aren't any other options. Why should there  be? From a completely lore based perspective, you're anything but a merc. You're a tool. Something even in our modern tongue is often used as an insult.

Because to be a tool is to be less than capable as a being in the universe. When a weapon is branded with the Lotus symbol and given to the player, it is typically assigned the word "Vandal", such as the Braton Vandal, indicating its corrupted, vandalized version of another's weapon. We are marked with the same symbol. We are Vandals. Weapons branded by Lotus to fight for a cause she's convinced is ours, for "balance" she's convinced we desired.

    Mercenaries fight for treasure.

We fight for nothing. We were never awoken from slumber. Our eyes, are still closed.

  5. Are you rebelling against the Lotus? You dare question her authority and wisdom? As Grand Master, I will see to it that you do not live to see the next day, traitor.

You don't even know who Lotus is. You are loyal to shadows cast so long, you fail to know its light. How does one betray a cause they do not understand? A cause that does not exist.

You are worse than traitors, or rebels. You're the spent shell casing of a weapon long fired that has forgotten why its trigger was ever pulled.

  6. I like your offensive idea more; but with a slight change. Ash teleporting should come with a 5-second invisibility and +100% damage to your next melee swing. It would encourage a stalker-type aggression where the player would teleport and immediately go for a lethal strike. But without the unaware enemy caveat; which wouldn't work in all level types.

Just my opinion though; I feel as though every move should have some sort of viability in combat; rather than just being fancy ways to move around. I can see the appeal to being able to teleport to inanimate objects, but at the same time I feel that it would just be a fancier version of what rush already does. I always appreciate threads with forward thinking though; and any sort of change to Teleport would be a huge leap forward for Ash.

Exactly. Honestly, Ash should basically become Stalker. A high risk, high reward melee archtype.

  7. My friends hated the started frames and starter weapons so much it was a chore to get them to log in a second or third time. This just cements the fate of this game to make it harder and harder for new players to enjoy the title.

I know I've made Battlefield comparisons before, but it applies here as well. In Battlefield 3, you can start the game with an M4A1 Carbine if you play the engineer. You can use this weapon for the entire life of your time ingame, and it would still be a solid pick. Most people wouldn't.

There are so many fun weapons in the game, people play and play to get them all, but the point is players aren't punished just for having the AUDACITY to PLAY your freaking game. Yet that's exactly what they're doing here.

  8. You know, you are overdoing it a little here, because sniper rifles in warframe are just very accurate rifles with mechanics to make it harder to spam shots, so you have have to aim more carefully. I hate BF4 references because BF4 and Waframe's only similarity is, that they belong to the shooter genre and sniping here and there is totally different, but overall you got a point.

I agree that the scopes are not what they should be and I'm sure there are better ways to fit the scifi setting and getting some good use out of it.

For the most part, it would help you replace the big dot with just a crosshair.

Shooting is shooting, and when you're going to magnify your scope to see targets that are beyond the range of most riflemen equipped weapons, you need to be able to SEE THE TARGET and KNOW THE RANGE of your target, otherwise you would be more accurate with iron sights on these weapons. The scope should be a BOON to the shooter, but games like Warframe actually employ them as handicaps.

  9. Shouldn't have been clantech in the first place. The weapon comes out of the market ffs. Take it out of clantech and give it a reasonable blueprint, or pull Cestra out of the market. (the latter being the douchebag move)

  10. You'd think with all the examples of working sniper scopes in this saturated world of FPS gaming, they would get some inspiration on their function.

I don't care how scifi the game is. Scifi implies progress. The future of tech. This means it should build on current tech, and offer superior function. Not just doodads.

This is Battlefield 4s standard scope for sniper rifles. Notice the simple lines. Those lines aren't just for cool points. They exist to give the soldier the ability to detect range in relation to the environment. See those options at the bottom? That's a rangefinder. It allows the player to select different ranges based on hard data in position to the player.

Once we are aware of our range. Now we can set that range to our scope.  When using the sniper rifle, you will notice below your scope are a couple of variables that you can change. The top number is your scopes zoom.  The gun I am using for this demonstration has a X6 and a X14 zoom.  The bottom number is the most important. This is your range. You can scroll through 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 / 1000 M.  Since our range is 200, we will set our scope to 200.  This means that the bullet will now hit exactly where my crosshairs are lined up with at 200m. Now you simply squeeze the trigger, and enjoy the satisfaction of getting a headshot from long range distances.

That is a small blurb from the developer on the function of this feature. This mimics current, real world mechanics. How is your game scifi, when it's got  no science and it's all fiction? Warframe doesn't need a long range functioning scope, but it should at least have the midrange capabilities of a current real world ACOG rifle scope. If you can't get a basic modern world scope in this game, then don't try to be dabbling in scifi physics. You look like idiots in the process DE.

    It's not hard.

  11. Took me two weeks to get Mastery 6. Spend the plat on slots. Get lots of weapons. Get weapons on alerts. Level up Sentinels. By the time you're Rank 6 you'll be stronger, have strong items to support your Soma. Getting the Soma too early would be a waste of good technology on a weak player like you. You don't have the experience or dedication to strengthen the weapon. I had a supercharged and formad Grakata before I upgraded to the Soma. I didn't just throw away my Grakata, I retired it. I loved that weapon, and it lives on in my Soma. You don't just throw money at a weapon like this. You give it your best.

  12. I don't know about first Tenno. I mean, his name was Tenno.

    his last name was tenno.

The Tenno share the last name of the protagonist from the first game in the Warframe universe; Hayden Tenno who was confirmed in Livestream 10 that he was indeed, the first Tenno. His connection to the Tenno in the current time period of Warframe is unknown, but if the confirmation of Hayden being the first tenno is correct, this implies that a form of the Technocyte virus exists in the Void, where the Pre-Tenno were mutated and corrupted. The two timelines however are different, as Hayden is not Infected from the void in Dark Sector.

Another lore accurate theory, due to the previous lore obtained from Dark Sector, is that The Tenno are an advanced form of the Technocyte Virus in which they have developed biological powers through enhancement by the virus such as Hayden's experience and reaction to the Virus causing vast manipulation of his senses and allowing for an extent to strength and abilities similar to the other.

  13. Dark Sector was a solid little shooter, and the original Tenno, Hayden, possessed a glaive as an iconic weapon in his armament. It flew forward and returned reliably. Making it a solid midrange, ammoless melee weapon that served him well. It did not bounce. It did not fly off in random directions, leaving him weaponless during its duration. It flew out, and returned, faithfully. Why does the glaive in warframe function so badly, when a mere human in its original title possessed such incredible display of skill without a frame of his own? To put it simply, why is the glaive what it is when DE has shown they can do better?

  14. I've said it before, the biggest problem for me with Valkyr is her floaty claws, and boring moveset when under Hysteria. Sacrificing my Orthos attack pattern, or big heavy Galatine swings for claws that barely feel like they're hitting anything and I fly over enemies while being propelled forward, missing everything with absolutely no thought, while spamming my attack button is just, freaking horrible. In a game with finishers, knockdowns and grapples, there should be no reason Valkyr players are expected to spend 90% of their time mashing MB1 and hoping for the best.

  15. If you're rolling forward trying to slide, then the function is somehow crossing with the Sprint function. Perhaps you can unbind wherever it is you have Sprint setup on your controller and on the keybind section for it's alt function. You only roll if you tape sprint+direction. You should never ever, ever roll if you push roll in any way. So there is your issue. Find the conflict.
