[ESC key stops working]

Happens to me too. Exclusively during missions (i.e. NOT in orbiter, fortuna, cetus or relays), and is fixed by the time i extract. Happens often in plains, but has rarely happened in planet missions too. Worth noting that mission progress stops working too - both Quick progress view and View mission progress.
