if you're having this problem with other games as well you should check the heat of the CPU and GPU just do some stress tests , any results above 78C or something is not good for a CPU and that the cause , I'm telling u this cuz I had the same problem with FPS drops and it turned out that my CPU was overheating due to not enough airflow . Hope it works and good luck.

It Happens with me as well from time to time , Turn off your Firewall and restart the game till it works that's the only way I know to fix this for now !

Happens with me as well , some times I turn off the firewall just to get it to work :/ idk any other way you may try it and see what u get.

I like the Idea but's the 50 meter sniper would force you to use long range weapons or too much range mode to be able to stand your ground and kill the enemy but still I like to try such a thing ... and for the lag part as you said it might be just like long survival runs , and this is better than this new mission type which is kinda of boring .

I'm having the same problem .. but then I tried to use a VPN client and it worked the launcher found that the game is up to date and started the game , But another problem showed up I couldn't sign in to the game and I was stuck at the log in screen , It happened once before but worked after like 5 min on it's own but this time I don't know I'm trying to fix it anyway I can find
Edit : it worked by it self just as the last time but not after a 5 min , a day after :)

sry this totally out of the subject but i need Help ASAP I got into a game via invite with someone ... then found out that one of them is hacking credits
so now i got 2 billion hacked credits my gross income shows -2,168,231,145 but even it's mines I van buy things .. the thing is I don't wanna get blocked cuz all of that credits that i got by some kids hack :(

I know that feel , even though I have a slow connection and I do suffer with slow updates and all of that pain , but at least u can play the game , For me it stopped working 2 patches ago , every time I started it Black screen nothing that's it , I tried to fix it and my last hope was to validate and guess what ... it's all GONE now I have to re download +5 G and that's gonna take a LONG time and I hope it works after that cuz if it doesn't I'm way gone till a new fix or something comes.
