  1. Tried a few basic paths and some really odd curves are appearing. More so then the usual curves which you can place cameras in creative locations to get around. u8rsBeo.jpg

    This is with default camera settings I forgot I have hide ui for screenshots on but I can recreate if needed.

  2. Polychromes seem to be really half done.. no easy remove/cancel/move functionality...

    Also seems to be an issue for years. Any one know of how to cancel a job/move a polychrome that works currently?

    Ive tried the following:

    Placing a second (doesnt work the option disappears when you place the first)

    Starting/Cancelling a job... Doesnt work the only option is to rush the job no cancel anywhere.

    Changing the colours back to default... Doesnt change anything still runs job.

     

    I may be missing something, but it seems like a simple remove option or cancel button in the menu would be easiest fix.

    That size is the biggest it gets. Adjusting settings in the options ui menu only make it smaller. 

     

    Issue isnt lotus but the map and objectives etc are too small to read easily.

    While the changes Pablo made earlier this year are great, there's still more to be done for the 4K experience.

  5. I've tried to give the game more time before starting this post but I feel now is a good time to get started. 

     

    Prime Accessories

     

    I like this idea except 3 out of the 4 items in it are useless to me, and at least two are redundant to anyone that bought Ember Prime Access. It would be nice to see (and i would buy) a pack with either just the extractor or just the syndana (could have plat or one of the prime items packaged with it), I mean if you were to say here is the distiller and your choice of prime weapon (not warframe) for $51.99 I would be more inclined to purchase. As it stands now when I look at that pack I see that it will cost me $51.99 for just the distiller, which isnt worth it in my mind.

     

    Log in rewards

     

    This one kills me because I see so many companies do this. When I play every day with my friends I get things like weapon xp, sentinel xp or a blueprint. The xp rewards are useless since my weapons/frames/sentinels are all at 30 so really its just one more click between my log in and getting in game. The blueprints have all been for items I already have built. Now here is the kicker if I play every second day to keep my reward at the first star I get 20% off plat, forma and potato blueprints etc (I know according to the wiki these results should be slightly different but I can only speak to rewards I have actually received). When I dont play the game for a full week I get 50%-75% plat rewards. Right now the way the system is spitting out rewards I get better rewards for not playing the game. I dont have a PhD in ludology but I think this arrangement is backwards. Below is an example of what I think the log in rewards should look like;

     

    Tier 1 (Emphasis on credits and affinity to aid the player in getting caught up along with the chance for gear)

     

    Tier 2;

     

    Tier 3

    I would even continue beyond this where every successive day played continues to reduce the pool of rewards to the items people really want. This way you could take some rewards out of tier 3 and move them down the road to keep their value as a rare reward. Maybe like so;

     

    Tier 3

     

    Tier 30

    Since I am considering buying platinum again this basically means that for the next week I will be playing a different game and potentially spending more money and time there instead of here. I am a huge fan of this game and really want to support my fellow Canadians but the current log in reward structure does not reward customer loyalty. 

     

    Some other rewards programs to consider;

    Refund for items bought within X days of a sale.

    Repeat plat buyer discount or bonus.

     

    Mission Rewards

     

    This really needs a look. Right now you appear to stand the same chance at getting a "common" nightmare mod on venus as you do on pluto. Aside from a personal challenge there does not appear to be any point in completing the harder difficulty missions. 

     

    Alert mission rewards need to scale more. Right now regardless of where the mission is you will receive roughly the same reward. So an invasion of earth will reward you say 35000 credits or 1 Orokin cell or 3 of the crafted materials like detonite injectors but you will get the same rewards for the same missions on pluto. Scaling for the higher difficulty planets will make the alerts more worth while for players at those levels. When I look at these alerts aside from tracking down the Grustrag Three for blueprints I get more rewards by running derelict mission for Orokin cells or Void missions for credits where I can get that same amount of credits in one game instead of completing 3 to 5 matches. Which also results in less of a grind.

     

    EDIT

    A side effect of increasing the rewards to scale with the difficulty is that the higher level players which blow through the lower level missions will play the higher level alerts first (though likely to do both). With some careful timing on the alerts this would allow more players that are currently clearing say earth to take part in the earth alert because it will last longer. 

     

    Unless a single mission alert has a blueprint I want attached to it they are simply not worth it. When a simple mobile defense will return more resources then the alert mission and any single mission will return more credits it is difficult to feel engaged by the majority of the alerts. The reason why this is so important is right now Warframe is in desperate need of some kind of mid-game to keep players engaged aside from their enjoyment of smashing corpus or trying for the leader board. 

     

    Alternate Dojo Tile sets

     

    I will not tell you what I would pay to have a derelict or void tile set for my dojo. Heck an earth themed or corpus tile set would be cool to see to. I will tell you it borders on an unreasonable amount of money. For DE this provides an additional source of income from already built tile sets which would potentially only require changes to functionality. Functionality which is already programmed for the existing dojo tile set. You could take the teeno research lab functionality and apply it to a room with a ton of consoles in the grineer tile set. I feel this is a potential for revenue that has not full been exploited yet.

     

    Anyways just my thoughts... It feels strange giving feedback to a company on ways to make me spend more money and time with their game lol! Here is the blueprint for access to my wallet gogo!

  6. Lets look at the actual price of Rhino prime. First we can buy him outright with the second level of prime access for $82.99. This comes with the Boltor Prime and the Ahkyros Prime which when coupled with 1050 plat are worth $51.99. This leaves $31 but we also still have 1575 plat which is worth 137.31 (cheaper to buy 2100 at 109.99) which is a lot more then the $31 we have left over. Plus you get two icons valued at 30 plat + a frame slot 20 plat and a potato 20 plat for a total of 70 plat in extras or roughly another $5.49.

     

    You can see where this is going... 

     

    According to that prime deal everything is 44.61% off roughly. so the list works out to;

    Charge bundle $46.39 (regular $104)

    1575 plat for $49.06 (or $61.25)

    Extras $2.44

    Total $97.89

     

    Still leaving nothing for the value of rhino prime compared to paying 400 plat (not to mention you get all those extras). 

     

    If anything I would consider the price of the parts relative to the number of runs. So at 400 plat and keys sell for 5 plat then this price would be reasonable if it takes me more then 80 runs to find all the parts. But then again finding keys is pretty easy so first I would have to go through the 20+ of each key I had before I even considered buying them. Which again brings the value of the parts down to nothing. 

     

    Like other people said its the buyers paying these prices which is causing the issue. Somewhat like the leg core... let me pay 400 plat for a core that can only make a mod worth at most 200 plat... seems reasonable.

  7. Apparently Extractors cap out at a max of 4. Founders, First Prime Access, and Second Prime Access do not stack their +1 effects either.

     

    Thats unfortunate. I think it would have been worth the $50. Really all I want from that prime access is the distiller.

  8. Is ridiculous. To be honest I cannot play anymore because this effect hurts my eyes too much. I cannot adjust brightness any lower as it is crushing my blacks. 

     

    Honestly this effect is a make or break deal for me. I cannot play the game like this and it would be horrible to stop playing this game just because of one horrible effect. At this point if it cant be fixed I would seriously seek out a refund.

  9. You know when someone points out something that is just a little off and you could have gone on ignoring it forever if they didnt say anything... Yup this is one of those bugs. The wall textures fix 5.5 tiles on the large wall tiles in the biggest clan hall. Like I said a minor bug but if fixed will just add that little bit of polish.
