  1. Drop rates will be mysteriously fixed, when enough people buy Nova from market for platinum and sales start regressing. Same situation as it was with Vauban, they can just blame it on RNG or code/loot table malfunctions, but doing it two times in a row is a bit obvious DE.

  2. He got it on sale from the Warframe market

This. Actually, Regor is the only warframe player who bought skana for platinum on market and as a return from DE, his name was used on a boss, never to be forgotten.

It is the same as buying WinRAR.

  3. Just wondering, isn't it MAIN deck?

but ill just throw an obvious answer to all codes:

    code 1 - It's the grineer!

    code 2 - It's the grineer!

    code 3 - It's the stalker! It's the grineer!

    ...

    code 6 - It's the grineer!

    code 7 - Bulba released!

    code 8 - It's the grineer!

    ...

    code 512 - It's the grineer!

  4. How about making a mod roulette, where placing 3-5 mods of the same quality would give in return one random mod of higher quality (or 50% chance of higher quality and 50% of the same quality, or something like that)? That would make those skill mods not that useless, would give another fun feature to the game and also a dev beloved RNG aspect. True win-win situation :D

  5. Exactly, that's the problem :-\ As I said in a previous post, as far as I know there isn't any meaningful way to calculate the probability of getting all the mods/BPs in a single kill due to the fact that we're limited to 1 per kill. The closest I can get is the reciprocal of the expected number of runs.

There is actually no problem at all since I am happy that formula actually points something out :D

  6. Problem is when I apply that formula to the Warframe BP drops, I get 2/1125, which means one would need 562.5 boss runs to get all three BPs... Which is evidently incorrect.

Hmmm, isn't 2/1125 the percentual chance of getting 3 different blueprints from 3 runs? In that case the formula would point out the percentual chance of every mod dropping being an unique rare mod.

But Notso, thanks for keeping interest in this cause anyway :)

  7. Hello! Since we have probability mathematicians here and I am deeply interested in probability, could you please check if this formula to compute the number of all rare mods dropping is valid (the number of enemies killed to get all the rare mods considering all rare mods drop only from foes)? P(mod_drop)*P(rare)*(number_of_rare_mods!/number_of_rare_mods^number_of_rare_mods) I know it computes the % probability, but just wanted to check if its a valid formula.

    Thanks in advance

  8. why does the rifle critical mod (crit 25%) reach 100% before it is done leveling, i figured 100% crit would be max level...

    am I missing something here?

Please dont say the critical % mod works the way i think it does......

    Thanks! -bel

Its basically a  multiplier for base crit chance. If base crit is 20% with +100% crit chance mod you get 40% crit chance on every hit

  9. Well, my post is highly biased, because I have been farming him for BP parts with ember, so he seems like the easiest boss out there. With ember, all you have to do is come close, activate ultimate and he is down in 2 seconds. Less if you decide to shoot him inbetween (I am not exaggerating, its probably less than 2 seconds). Whole run took under 5 minutes.

  10. Who are you to dictate how I play my game.

Go solo or grab your friends if you want SRS gaming.

PS: What is your favorite weapon?

I am no way dictating your gameplay, but from your post I can see you are abusing other players to carry you through missions. Good job! You must be a welcome addition for every team.

My favorite weapon is hek so far. In combination with lex and dual ether. Classic braton when I feel like spamming some bullets.

  11.  /sigh, ok, to elaborate some more. Im not overreacting in any way as it was mentioned somewhere here... As a low level frame, you are basicaly hoping there will be higher level guys that will carry you through the mission. This is not what you should do, you should be hoping you will contribute to the completiton of the mission. I have tried to do this thing few times, bringing low level frames and weapons to the high level defense. I felt guilty, for it took me quite some time to kill even one of the foes, while the others were doing all the stuff for me. I was basicaly carried all the way through and thats what I am against.

edit: @lifestream - I am not talking about master rank, but about general level of weapons and warframes

  12. Seriously, level 1 warframe does no good on high level mobile defenses, where he just jumped into to have his frame and gear leveled quickly. Those people are just liability you have to constantly revive (well, you don't have to...) and contribute almost no damage or support to the group. If planets were level restricted, it would make sure that you are playing with people with proper frames to the map you are doing.

It would also help to spread the gaming population across the system.
