  1. I hate to be that guy, but.....naw man. Spy Sorties are great. I frigging love doing them with a group. I love when you've got one or two squishy stealth frames inside the vault, and burly combat 'frames outside, I love the co-operative element, I love the way Spy Sorties basically force tactics on people.

    I even love the part where one screwup scrubs the whole mission. The feeling when you're outside a vault and you hear the announcement that the person doing the hacking got it successfully? Hell yeah. The feeling when you're the infiltrator and you pull it off without any alarms, while the rest of the squad watch your back? You feel like a frigging hero, Credit To Team, etc. You can't have that feeling of satisfaction if there's no real risk of failure. Can't have the high without the possibility of the low.

    Spy missions with high level enemies and cipher's disabled, for high rewards (higher rewards anyway). They're like the embodiment of "Git Gud" for people who don't have much experience. I've only started really enjoying Spy missions since Sortie.

  3. Polar: Mag’s lost twin brother

    1st) Push: slows incoming projectiles. The closer to polar the slow projectiles move up to maximum of -95% speed within 3 meters. Affected by duration. 65%, 75%, 85%, 95%. Matrix bullet time effects.

    2nd)Hover: Reduces the effect on self and allies of gravity. Increases speed, adds Maglev and half gravity. Sheild is increased for duration and shielded enemies within 15 meters of ally suffers sheild reduction of 30%.

    3rd)Twin Moons: An indistinct hologram of Polar and Mag floats on the left and right rotating around a target. Bodies and items are pulled towards the target. Bodies do impact damage while items do a range of elemental procs. Enemies not within 15 meters of target will have their speed slowed by 50% until they are 25 meters away from target. Shielded enemies will have their shield drained while being affected. Ability will be duration based or until target dies. Affected by power strength and duration. If 1st) push is used during twin Moons projectiles will also hit the target automatically for cumulative slash damages. Twin Moons can be placed on an ally to automatically draw in drops within 15 meters and incoming projectiles will not be drawn in but damage is reduced 75%.

    4th)Quasar: Metalize the bones of enemies and environment in a large radius. A 1.5 meter ball of energy is released along a path that will change if interupted. The ball electrocutes all within 15, 17, 19, 21 meters stunning them. The walls, environment and Quasar ball are magnetized as North Pole and the bones are south pole. Pulled in multiple direction by equal force bodies are ripped apart. Longer duration increases damage. When Quasar ends it explodes in a 15 meters radius (locked) for the total damage inflicted to enemies in its radius similar to equinox’s maim but without the need to activate at the end.Quasar will self destruct. Affected by strength, range and duration.

  4. Nanobots is an unexciting explanation imo. It could just as easily create and make a doorway (being the puddle) to a pocket dimension or expanded space. We know they have the technology for it.

    True but maybe being organic nano bots limits there functions, hence the need for different frames. After all those things are done by nova's worm hole and limbo. imagine a being that can think with every cell of its body to maximize it's potential in combat...but it went feral and mad without operator control.

  5. So I got to thinking hydroid's puddle ability makes more sense now. Not to say the frames are empty husk. No I believe they have some sentience but maybe the frame are made of nanobot / nanospores that has a sort of hive mind unique to that nano programming. And maybe Hydroid's allows his to disassemble and reassemble. Maybe primes were a little too sentient and that's why there are more commons than primes? The prime nanospores learned too much and started to rebel operator control? Forgive my head cannon ramble. In short a body that needs organs couldn't do hydroid's puddle but post SD and my head rambles kinda stick to me.

  6. Using energy siphon, 199 duration,175 energy efficiency, and power drift, cloud walker uses No energy at all while moving and gains energy the moment you stop. Duration last 50 sec too. The speed isn't the fastest but it's still really really good. Flying over areas mentioned for acrobatics and lasers is a "cake walk".yeah yeah I see the door. Peace.

    No. Having Equinox is already complicated enough to make modes in situations that literally requires you to push too many buttons when you can just kill your high-level enemies with less than 2 shots from your high-caliber shotgun.

    Your right, so I changed the title. But then you lost me. Everything has only one button to push. The quasar doesn't need to be manually detonated it does that at the end of the timmer for those that are metalized but still alive.

    true but void is actually a critical part of the game and lore. . i guess a vampire frame could maybe drain the energy core of robots? or their shields like mag's polarize while organics get blood drained?

  11. If you look behind the operator you'll see white energy vines plugged into the wall coming from the back of the throne platform. There are two empty plugs, one to the left of the operator and one to the right on the walls. I believe those have something to do with the rooms to the right and left of the operators room.

    Edit: Does the Shadow/Sentient Stalker mean just regular stalker, i think not but is that what DE means?

     

     No when stalker ( now called sentient/shadow stalker) randomly appears he has a chance to drop war or broken war BP. The quest will always give broken war but if you want to build complete war you need to farm and build both from random stalker pop ins.
