  1. How can you ask the avatar thing with a straight face, before releasing Corpus ones, or at least clarify that you are going to release them (might have missed it, but looks like you took it as "community idea"). Could you be more faction biased? I understand not putting the infested up for discussion just yet, because they are, with the sentients, the worst enemy of the Tenno. But since the Gradivus dilemma (and before that, let's not kid ourselves) seems like you always give the Corpus sympathisers the short end of the stick. Like, "oh no, we didn't even think about releasing Corpus avatars, but good idea". Come on. And yes, this is the drop that did it for me, because Avatars look like the easiest thing to implement, and yet you release a crapton of one faction only.

In the topic of bosses, I feel that the Hyenas was the only true rework, and everything else has gone downhill, with invulnerability phases/gimmicks instead of raw power/speed/skill. I get that not everything can be hyenas. but it's getting old really fast.

  2. Edit: Verifying cache seems to solve the issue.

I don't even get the loading bar/screen. Just a black screen with 4 squares and something blurry in them.

Deactivating Direct X10/11 (has to be both, tried combinations of 1 at a time and doesn't work either).

    Sys specs are Win 7 64 SP1 (both 32 and 64 bit work, but only without extensions) Nvidia 750ti / AMD Cheapskate x4@ 3.6 GHz / 8 GB DDR3.

  3. I think Parkour accel is fine, but it needs some polish (better flow).

As for pick ups, they look dated, especially the energy orbs. Now, I understand that these must be low rez and generally simple to avoid memory consumptions and such but they still can be improved and kept simple.

  4. D polarities on weapons need more mods and the ones already available buffed, 2 of 3 Ice mods are below average damage percentage and don't even get us started about the status chance mods.

Make really weak energy/life leech mods that require a high slot count for the polarity, change the silencer mods to this polarity, make these mods actually silence the weapons.

Add small energy shield mods for this polarity that spawn such shields around the weapon to avoid being grappled/weapon stolen small amount of damage reduction.

  5. Mastery ranks need a rework. They should affect more things, and get you some kind of achievement reward, like a badge or small piece of armor or something.

Mastery rank could grant bonus exp while leveling forma'd gear, it also could unlock the ability to play nodes on nightmare and so on. So much stuff could be done with this.

Tie the Mastery Rank to Faction Ranks whenever that is done, so you don't have to do really basic tasks when those missions come (Oh, we see you are a veteran, so we are sending you to Pluto!).

Also those dynamic alerts you did once? Mastery Rank could play a role with those.

Now, Nekros. My biggest problem with this is Desecrate, and  I am surprised how it was one of the least chosen.

It is boring and completely uninspired, not what it does, but how it works. Spamming the ability and keeping you locked in place? While Vauban can throw vortexes while reloading and running? Make it a castable aura that lasts X seconds and turns you into some sort of spooky ghost that desecrates an area while you are fully able to move and shoot, increase the casting cost if necessary, like a world on fire of desecrating.

  6. I would have thought about buying cosmetic only prime packs if they were cheaper and didn't have the booster. A booster is worthless to me.

Excalibur needs to be more fun and less boring, needs to have more utility overall. I am not saying it's bad, but it's boring to play, IMO. Superjump especially needs to be way cooler, even if it means increasing the casting costs.

The new mod system needs to differentiate rarity with diverse frames, not just the coloring, AND get the rarity color out of the picture, THE PICTURE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MOD ASPECT when choosing mods, if you put some instagram filter all over it you are making them similar and harder to spot. Nevermind colorblind people might be struggling even more.

  7. An idea I've been tossing around is actually having two additional "invulnerable" defense points, which would be placed deeper within the map. These would be linked somehow to the cryopod, and when damaged below, say, 25%, would make the cryopod more vulnerable to enemy attacks. Enemies would split their focus between each of the defense points depending on their health values, meaning players would have to lock down more of the map than they do currently.

Of course this would make the map extra hard for solo players, so perhaps it would be the single cryopod setup in that case.

    Thoughts?

Do it, if it goes terribly bad, you can always change it. Doesn't seem too hard to implement.

  8. Double doors should stay, but they should be more complex and varied per faction, right now they just feel tacked on and their purpose is too obvious, make them fun/a puzzle/something.

Yes to votekick, but heavily moderated, can't votekick once the objective is complete, can only be kicked if 3 of 4 votes are positive, and cannot votekick if squad is not full UNLESS player to be voted has been inactive for X minutes.

  9. So I put this on some random thread but I thought it was worthy of it's own topic in feedback.

Basically to rework the AT effects to nullify active procs on use, which procs, depends on the AT used.

This, would obviously not work against proc aura leaders, that's the point of those enemies.

It would clear the proc if used outside of their area of influence.

Low level ATs: beryl/amethyst. These could nullify the basic elemental procs (fire, ice, toxic, elect) 2 elements per AT (one for fire and ice and the other for toxic and elec).

Mid level ATs: citrine/topaz. More difficult to craft, so these nullify the advanced elemental procs (radiation, blast, etc) 3 per AT.

Blast and Magnetic are a bit tricky because once inflicted, the damage is done, in the case of magnetic, you still could use a clean screen of disruption and maybe give 25 energy on use. In the case of Blast, it could be an instant handspring and 3 seconds immunity to knockdown.

I would put these two separated, one on each AT, because I consider they are more annoying than the other 4 advanceds.

High level AT: lapis. This one would nullify the physical procs, like impact, puncture, slash.

Uber AT: vermillion. Ridiculous to craft, but would nullify every and all kinds of proc, grant 10 seconds of proc immunity and heal you completely (not shields tho)

I think this is pretty fair and gives them a good use and a reason to go back to earth for plant scans.
