  1. While time limits is the most practical way of making invasions end faster, they do have a softer time limiting mechanic that gives a push to the winning side of the invasion.

Remember you don't have to wait you can always do more than five mission, but i think DE needs to make some incentives to play more than the initial 5 missions though.

There should definitely be some sort of grace period... should be a new mode of some kind like the hunting down of the few scattered enemies left (maybe a more exploratory mission type), so players who didn't get enough missions done to have a chance to get them. This would probably be best if it was on a hard timer. I would say for only those who actually did some missions to begin with.

1 Orokin cells for 5 mission is kinda of silly When it used to be 3 it would always win. Obvious step is to make it 2 cells.

For balancing competing rewards does need some work. Though i think balanced rewards might get people more frustrated at least with out some sort of hard timer.

At the very least I would say both factions shouldn't offer the same type or reward like credits v credits or gallium v gallium.

  2. And then there's the fact that every other bloody invasion reward is 3 mission wins for the battle pay. This was five.

All Invasions require 5, infestations require 3.

And then there's no time limiting at all. No one said 'well, everyone is going to choose to fight for the grineer, hurrrr, shouldn't we make it last longer?'

I don't think you know what a time limit is.

The devs don't manually put these invasion up, they have a system in place that uses RNG to make them up.

  3. Back in the old data mining days it was discovered that all rewards are weighted across 0 and 1. When you started a mission you were given a random starting position between 0 and 1 and a random interval number between 0 and 1.

Every 5 waves you would increment your position by the interval and that would determine your reward.

So patterns arise depending on your starting position and your interval number.

I doubt this system has changed at all.

  4. you could construed any country i had said into 'hate' for that country. of course things sound different if you take them out of context.

this is pointless, just attacking someone because you can. about as useful in the grand scheme of things as the 'how can i make this painful' Scott meme. that was a joke but people use it out of context deliberately.

Yes I could have, because of the way you are saying it.

The second part of that post makes me laugh because you have yet to deny hating on America.

I look around at the other people correcting this guy, and they're all like "It's a different system, bluh, bluh."

    Apparently nobody has noticed that 999.999 isn't 0.1 away from 1000, it's 0.001 away from 1000.

    999.999+0.1 is 1000.099.

    Ridiculous.

    Hilarious indeed.

  5. because America is an example? [insert strawman here]

what country he is from isn't that relevant to being aware that different countries operate differently. some use Comma's, some use Decimals to represent breaks in large numbers. if a number looks wrong in the way you usually use those characters, then an alternate way to use them is probably the way it was intended. no issue there at all. calling people out that they're 'wrong' because they don't speak the way you do, is a very silly way to do things.

America is a bad example. He was already using the same method that America uses.

Give the guy an example where it is actually different.

The last sentence is telling of what you originally meant.

I think America pops up in your head when you think that, hence hating on Americans.

  6. It's both too much Xini and broken drops.

you DO know that almost all other countries in the world use '.' and ',' in a different manner than America does, right? only America and a select few countries use Comma's the way America does.

It's the English way of doing things, countries with heavy influence from England would use it, so why hate Americans?

If you look at his profile you would that he has a gif of the flag of Scotland waving around.
