Yes to adding extractor missions but no to Cryotic.  Make the missions pop up random plains rewards like the breaths or various mining rewards.  Caches in the existing missions could yield fish, bait, and Ore.

    Im ok with that.
Less fishing/mining more pew pew more freedom for everyone.

  2. And do not forget, after the hard work of getting the blueprints parts, of how many (and what...) materials we will need to craft it...
Again fishing and mining? I dont want to repeat myself here.
And I do not want to count, I leave to others the pleasure of drawing the real sums, on how many hours we had to devote to this frame.
    If God RnG blesses us.

I do not know De's intentions but I know my own: all this story has to change substantially before I even start thinking about getting Gara.

  3. PoE open world... but let's not kid.

The physical limits of this map are obvious and the monotony with which it is drawn reduces the size instead of exalting it... but i am confident, in any case, I will really encounter adventures to satiate my warrior soul with the great spaces and promised freedom.
Instead I move on foot and hunt fish with harpoon. Ok I've been wrong millennium. Let's try again.

My archwings? Forget them. They are useless kites and equally fragile.
They also stink horribly of burnt fish oil. Damn.
And the weapons of my archwings to take down the shuttles and more intrusive greener defenses?
Lost. Ordis has forgotten them in a trunk sent for error on another planet.

All right, let's go the old way. I choose my favorite warframe and... I feel very tiny.
As in front of a deforming mirror at the circus, everything is falsely bigger than me, farther than it appears. I can not hit the enemies that are killing me from the hills. Distances have increased for everyone, but not for my skills, created to fight in other spaces.

I do not give up, I try, and prepare my arsenal, rifle, guns and sword between my teeth. Ninja-space is coming.
But then I realize that I can not move a few steps out of the designated area...

PoE open world? I would not say that, it really is just a bad joke.

  4. As a matter of feedback I believe it suffices to say I like (why) I do not like (because).
We are here to give our opinion, hoping of being taken into account, by those who can make improvements to the game.

What is pleasing, or not, to each of us is a personal matter.

That is why I find it hilarious that someone explains why it is necessary or not to do something I do not like, or why the game is right to ask me something I do not like. We are not here to convince our fellow players to change their opinions or tastes.

I repeat: we are here to play and everyone has his tastes.
I do not like fishing / digging minerals, and I do not find it enjoyable that the game, which in other ways I really love, is now compelled me to do so.
I like to use archwings, and I'm not happy that, in Plains, wings are so misused or exploited for their potential.
And I've already provided an idea of how it might be most pleasing to me to handle these aspects.

    Simple as that.

My two cents on how to fix the bad drop tables for bounties, plus a few other suggestions.

    You guys really need to:

1 - Give a reward every bounty. Incursions give a reward each mission ,why don't bounties ? Likewise, incursions should have access to all the same rare drops as bounties.

2 - Remove all newbie mods from the loot table. Put them on enemies or in crates on the plains, not as end of mission rewards. Same with set mods and other non-rare mods. Putting everything on the same loot tables dillutes rewards and I honestly have gotten a single stance or set mod, zero gara parts and nothing worthwhile since the update dropped, only credits, endo, bronze mods and a couple wisps.

3 - Credits and some resources should be awarded for every bounty, not as as reward, but as a small incentive to complete them. Getting let's say 1500 - 4000 credits from completing each mission would add up to a decent amount over time and could help newbies progress, especially if you pair these with resources being given.

4 - Maybe consider moving gara parts elsewhere or making a system where a player that already owns gara does not get her parts as a drop.

5 - Replace all the clutter you removed with pretty big bundles of plain resources (60-100 fish oil, 30-40 of a particular stone, 10-15 eidolon cores)... That way people that don't like mining and fishing can progress by doing bounties.

6- Maybe bring by the old system of a drop checklist like in old sorties, like each time you grab a reward, it gets "Checked" out and it's no longer a potential drop until a daily reset.

7 - Ideally, introduce a system where the more bounties you complete, the better the chances of getting rare rewards. This would make 5 part bounties very appealing, plus would help people stay longer for incursions, as they would keep getting more chances of getting better drops.

8 - Allow player on the plains to talk to Kanzu and trigger another bounty chain without going back each time to town. It's tedious as hell as it is now.

9 - Make it so that the game saves your drops after every bounty and every time morning/night starts... That way if you crash or have any similar issues, you don't lose potentially hours of fishing/mining/progression.

    Perfect to-do list,
    super-quote on
n.1 (give meaning to the time it takes)
    n.5 (i dont like fishing-mining in PoE)
n.8 (Kanzu can talk with us like Lotus do - or like happens in defence missions)
n.9 (be brave but not reckless)

    TY very much

  6. Currently I play another MMORPG where to fish, harvest herbs, hunt rabbits and cut wood, is placed in a much wider context, and where I love doing it. There are so many of them, the concept is as old as online games.

I loved this game because it was different: in Warframe I do not want to be a miner or a fisherman.
I am a @(*()$ space-ninja with a deadly exoskeleton, i descend from heaven with my shuttle, in the middle of the action, where it is required.

If I need materials, I steal them from enemy stocks or pull them out of their corpses.
I do not walk miles on foot. I have a pair of wings, even more powerful, suitable for both air and water, my Ordis calls these for me, when I need it, and with those I swear at the speed of light where I want.

That's why I do not want to spend my time with the harpoon in front of a puddle.
I want to explore the depths of the sea, instead.
If I have to fish, my prey must be monstrous sea giants that I can face them with my archwings, and their extraordinary weapons.
(I do not understand why they are now less resistant to a paper airplane, they fueled by fish oils, and they do not even use their own weapons. Disgusting)

  7. Even relays have been managed in the same incomprehensible way: no readable indications on the map about points of interest...
So I'm not surprised that in Cetus, you find yourself roving around without a goal, lost in dozens of blue spots, without being able to see any indication of something different on the map.
And even the icons of any of your teammates are confused, and disappear in the midst of ocher signs, and under the blue dots of other players...

I'm waiting, with resignation, to see that beautiful map merge with the color of the ground and become completely useless...

    Disheartening...
(I chosed an empty server and a non-peaked time, 5 in the morning...)

I wanted to like the open space, but the operator focus really kills the vibe for me,
Going into operator mode is immersion breaking for me,
I want to smoothly play my warframe of choice, but I feel like with this update I can't.
I'm mostly playing the operator now, and the warframe I actually got to choose and customize to my liking is taking a back seat.
Operator mode should have been a tiny optional part of warframe, but with POE it has become the game's primary focus.
    ...
I don't see me wanting to play POE, and missing out on that much content (and all future content that will presumably also be operator focused) kills the desire to play the game.

    Amen bro'

The point is, complain all you want, point all the flaws the system has, but remember that you are the one who built a 10 floors building on shaky ground.

I am talking about that they promised a reset and this is not it. Period.

You are trying to dispute why I do it, but you do not know my playstyle or my choices, then this is pointless.

They are respecting your choices. Now you have to deal with them.

My choices were made based on a menu that was substantially changed.
There is no respect in not allow me to review my choices in my turn.
This is also in the publisher's intentions, respect the player and the time he invested in his game, and in fact return the lenses for a new assignment but not the points, leaving the job, in my opinion, halfway.

And I do not care if there are worse cases, I wish the best not the worst.
The invitation to accept things as they are, take or leave, it is in my opinion out of the terms of the discussion.
Each of us knows how to deal with a game.

  11. In really many years of gaming, every time I saw changing a tree skills / abilities, or the specialization / profession choice, by an online game publisher, I've also seen allowing players the opportunity to review / repeat their own choices.

Whether it was a timely item to the players, a reset for everyone, the possibility of redeeming, at least, some of the work done, to move it elsewhere, the systems adopted were different, but the substance was the same: we changed the cards on the table you can choose again.

In Warframe we have returned the lenses, to give us the time to evaluate and choose again, well, they agree that a new system requires new decisions, but there are no unlocked / returned focus points, who remain constrained to the school for which they have been accumulated.

  12. so having actual information to tell players what Warframe people are using, would be very preferred. bonus points if i know what Weapons they have Equipped too.

The most immediate thing, and easy to implement, it would present the team with the information available in its composition as they are displayed before starting the mission itself ... I do not think that involves a lot of work since the data and layout are already available ...

As for the show 'even' a small image (like in other games ...) if this is not a symbol that identifies the warframe in the game, it really is the most useless thing in which waste space on the screen.

PS: i want back my standard Lotus flower :P

  13. Profile icons are useless as they are now. Simply.
The player is identified with the warframe that he is using at the time:
if the icon of the profile was used instead as an icon of warframe, and handled the same way as a syandana (option selectable from the panel appearence), the player would have a real incentive to obtain the proper set of icons, and would be easier to change the icon by simply changing warframe.
