  1. Well would you look at that, I can finally get mods again. I suppose once I get all those lost mods from the past five days I won't have any reason to be upset. I can't really say thanks for the swift response, but I'm grateful nonetheless.

With that said, I'm looking forward to finally getting my Oberon out of my foundry and getting some new mods.

  2. This was first being reported in support tickets and in other threads as early as last Thursday. Finally on Sunday we get, "Huh? are you sure there is a problem. Ummm, we'll look into in." ...and that's pretty much it.

That isn't a response anyone with the problem is looking for. People are asking to know things like: how long does DE think it might take to fix. Do they think the lost mods will be restored or not. Am I wasting my time even playing until this is fixed, and how seriously are they taking this?

What we have gotten is, "I'll send someone a note about this." I'm sorry, that's pathetic. It would take 10 minutes tops to have somebody address the community quickly and update us.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend their behaviour. I'm just trying to believe that they aren't just blatantly ignoring paying customers. So far I'm appalled with their support team or lack there of.

  3. I don't know if this has to do with the same problem but I just paid 275 plat for Zephyr and I did not get the skill mods for it. I am not stupid I know how to search for mods -.- I'm sick of being told "oh your just stupid search by name" ... I DID 20 TIMES!! I own or have owned every warframe in the game and I never had this problem before and I found the skills just fine the other times. So it is not a "stupid user error"

It's the same bug that other users have. You probably won't be seeing anything but fusion cores for awhile. Sorry about your luck.

  4. DERebecca has commented on all of these threads so they most likely know

Not only has she already posted, but I saw her name a few hours ago amongst the folks reading the topic. While it's unfortunate she didn't give us an update, the least I can assume is that she's atleast making sure the problem is known.

  5. Trying to figure out what the issue is here, dev on Monday will be able to dig deeper but based on a sample of reports in this thread cross referenced with the database, I can see the Mods being entered and given (pandemonim, I see your HammerShot + Energy Siphon recorded in the DB that you got in a missions today, the record is there). Someone hypothesized this could be related to Mod Stacking, which is a good lead, but hopefully tomorrow we can get more clarity/hotfixes.

True they could but honestly i dont think they do. and ive seen updates appear at 5-6pm which is in 2-3 hours. but i still think its weird we havent heard anything about this...

Obviously we'll have to wait for a statement, regardless of whether the support team has left for the day, or are still hard at work on this issue. I can only guess on the matter, but since, as DERebecca said, there are logs showing the mods we should be receiving, that it should be safe to continue playing. We should see our mods returned to us eventually. Of course I could be wrong in the matter, however it's entirely up to anybody reading this to decide whether or not they want to play or wait.

  6. which is weird cause that wouldnt make sense. During live streams its posted as MY time zone also canada is literally RIGHT above me state in America. The time zones are either  as it stands now 2:55 aka 3pm 2pm a few states over or 12pm on the other side of the US so theres NO WAY its time for them to close! unless there support team isnt in canada which would be stupid lol

It's not unheard of to have teams in different parts of the world. They don't have to have all their members work in the main office, or even be a direct part of the company, they can outsource.

  7. well its only 2pm here (i have the same time zone as them) and i DONT think they are off duty till at least 7ish cause most hotfixes come out at about 5-6ish They usually have a GREAT response team and great fix team but this is the first time ive seen them not say anything nor do anything. I guess this is the first time its been a major problem like this. Boosters were made useless since people didn't wanna play during this problem. people lost SO MANY mods! ad how can they honestly reimburse us correctly for what we lost. All questions they need to think of WHILE trying to solve this problem. Though that doesnt excuse a little "Hey were working on it"

Unless I'm mistaken, GMT is five hours ahead of EST, which happens to be my time zone. This means that as it's almost 3pm EST, it's also almost 8pm GMT. Unless the "Warframe support is open 9AM-6PM Monday to Friday (GMT)" they have posted on their support page is a lie, then they have been off duty for almost two hours.

  8. I mean youd think they would give people off during the WEEK then put them during the weekend so things could get fixed...but nope

I would think they would offer 24/7 support, since they have no problem taking our money any time of any day. Moving on from that though, when I started playing Warframe again earlier last week, I had heard somewhere that DE has great support. Now, that statement might have been sarcasm, I'm not sure. I do know that despite their first day back on, the support team has made no statements regarding whether or not they're aware of, or working on this bug. From what I'm to understand as well, is that at this point in time, they've been off duty for almost two hours as well. I'd think they'd have had more than ample time to give us, their customers, some sort of feedback regarding the situation.

If I were to get an official statement with some sort of time frame, then there wouldn't be much of an issue. I would know that the issue is being looked into, and they have a basic idea of when they'll be able to fix it. Knowing whether or not it is possible to receive the mods we've lost would also be nice, because if we can, then I can continue playing knowing that while I'm not getting them now, I'll receive them when the bug is fixed. Until such a time, however, I'm left wondering whether I should play or not. I want to play Warframe, but will my efforts be in vain? Will I be able to make any progress? I don't know, and thus have turned to the people tasked with keeping the game running smoothly, but so far have been almost completely ignored. The only person who's even acknowledged this problem is DERebecca.

  9. They already explained that the hotfix team doesn't come in till the weekdays. they care they just arent at work to deal with it!

You don't see the problem with their support not being available on the weekends do you? To make a point of this, I've had this bug since sometime Thursday, and reported it Friday when I noticed it. It's now 2pm EST on Monday, and I'll bet that they're just now starting to work on fixing this problem. It could only take a few hours to fix, or it could be a few days still. The major problem is that now, five days after the bug happened, they're just STARTING to deal with it. Now, if people weren't able to play the game on the weekend, or if this game was bug free, then by all means they can have a standard work hours for their support team. However, the game IS riddled with bugs, and people can play on the weekends.

To make matters worse, the game is available across the world, and not everybody is going to fit into their 9-6 work schedule. Imagine if you got home from work, hopped onto your game, and found out you had a game breaking bug? Well, you'd contact the support team, but wait, they aren't open. Every day there is a 15 hour period between when they are open and closed, plenty of time for people to encounter bugs.

Mostly though I just came here to check for some sort of update, since my ticket hasn't been updated, and if I understand correctly it's around 7pm GMT, which would mean that their support has CLOSED for the day. I guess even automated responses that claim they're looking into the matter is too much to ask though.

  10. So, if there are records of the mods that we should have been receiving, is there a chance we'll be seeing these mods once this issue is resolved?

  11. It's getting pretty painful watching Alerts go by. Completing them yields nothing but credits and fusion cores, and everybody else is getting their mods fine and dandy. C'mon DE, atleast acknowledge this bug, or better yet acknowledge it and give the folks affected the mods we were deprived of.

  12. I wonder what triggers this bug, is it something specific or just random? When I realised that I wasn't receiving mods, I had been playing with my friend, immediately I asked him if he had gotten some of the rare mods we found. He said he had them, and since we had been playing the same missions that night I wonder why I'm affected and he isn't. Regardless though, I'd imagine there are still a lot of folks that have this bug, yet aren't aware of it. To which it would be quite unfortunate if they were looking for a specific rare mod, only to find out that they haven't been collecting anything but fusion cores.
