I'm on the same driver YAER is right now... 13.12 is really stable and made lots of improvements, before it I was on the BETA drivers and to be honest they had an issue with directx11 and fps weren't as good as with 13.12. Wee actually found that with the support guys from DE after testing two days.

     So for my 7870HD OC ED 13.12 is the best so far.

    Additions:

    Warlords representing each Clan/Alliance will now appear in Dark Sectors in-game transmissions.
    Extended Specter variety to include all possible Warframes; Specters now manifest as the current Warframe being used by the clan member they represent.
    Added in new visual effects to help distinguish pending Dark Sector conflicts from active Dark Sector conflicts
    The Corpus Easter Bunny has arrived - Keep an eye out Corpus themed Easter Egg loot crates, Bunny Ear attachments, and the limited time only Easter Color picker!

    Note: Argon Crystals will no longer decay until server connection issues are fully resolved.  
    Reduced health of Solar Rails for quicker conflicts. 
    Added a Undeployed Rail counter to the Rail construction UI in the Dojo that shows how many clan or alliance Solar Rails are currently being built and are awaiting deployment.
    Reduced the XP boosts across Dark Sectors.
    Tweaked a number of Axe sound effects.
    Tweaked the roll sound effects for Warframes.
    Tweaked the Glaive sound effects.
    Reduced the volume of the Energy Channel activation sound.
    Improved the display of Blueprints as in the end of match rewards screen.
    Optimized Apex particles - Note that changes to Apex settings will now require an application restart.
    Prevent Stalker and other hunter type enemies from showing up during Defense waves that end in the "Continue?" prompt.
    Improved the performance of fog visual effects.
    Improved the performance of Ember's visual effects on lower end computers.
    Reduced the volume on Corpus Crewmen barks.
    Tweaked the sound effects of the Tenno mantle, flip, and vault sound effects.
    Tweaked the Glaive combo animations.
    Altered the mod costs for Hydroid's abilities to bring them in line with all the other Warframes.
    Optimized the sounds on the Shipyards level.
    Increased the number of decorations allowed within Large Dojo Gardens to 30.
    Optimized water art assets in Dojo's on low end machines.
    Tweaked the frequency of Grineer and Corpus soldier pain barks.
    Improved the positioning of the Imperator Syandana to fit better on Oberon's back.

    Fixed some broken UI elements for new players encountered after completing the tutorial.
    Fixed a number of localization issues.
    Fixed an issue with Vauban's Bounce ability not working correctly.
    Fixed sessions unintentionally becoming locked or unlocked after a Host Migration had occurred. 
    Fixed  'Invite to Game' option not appearing in the Recent Players list. 
    Fixed an issue with Vault Credits not displaying correctly when Solar Rail integrity is low.
    Fixed an audio issue with the Nami Skyla not playing slide slash sounds.
    Fixed an issue of players getting stuck in a endless fall loop on the Shipyards tileset.
    Fixed Nef Anyo's transmissions not displaying correctly.
    Fixed the sort order for items in the Clan Log.
    Fixed an issue with Rescue targets not properly navigating their surroundings.

    Fixed a loss of functionality that could occur after unequipping a secondary weapon and then attempting to upgrade a Sentinel weapon.
    Fixed an incorrect description for the Female Helmet pack.
    Fixed Vay Hek's terrify ability affecting unintended targets (allies). 
    Fixed Hysteria appearing as constantly being in use when used while no Melee weapon is equipped.
    Fixed an issue with the Back and Exit button call outs overlapping within the View Recent Players tab.
    Fixed blocking being able to stop scripted damage types such as the suffocation damage over time that occurs after a window is broken.
    Fixed an issue where other players would not be able to hear the firing of fully charged charge shot weapons.
    Fixed an issue with room doors not opening correctly on certain Galleon tilesets.
    Fixed Energy Channel not properly increasing melee damage after Melee Channeling has been used.
    Fixed a collision issue with certain art assets on the Xini node.
    Fixed Ember's Fireblast visuals ending prematurely if using multiple duration extending mods.
    Fixed an issue with Vay Hek getting stuck under the tram when fighting him.
    Fixed an issue with the visuals on Saryn's Venom ability appearing incorrectly.
    Fixed an issue where players would not receive a notification popup after receiving a Mod that was just transmuted.
    Fixed the guard on the Nami Skyla appearing less detailed than it should have.
    Fixed a number of crashes.
    Fixed an issue with clients breaking after attempting to perform a melee attack after Valkyr's Hysteria has ended.
    Fixed an issue with client's not properly seeing the attacks from Tenno Specters.
    Fixed a visual effect desync seen when a client performs a finisher while channeling.
    Fixed an issue with elemental effects not properly being displayed when the Nikana is sheathed.
    Fixed an animation issue for Grineer Roller's when stationary.
    Fixed an issue with Client's seeing the HUD of other players while spectating.
    Fixed Dera's camo skin not properly using Color Tints.
    Fixed a visual effects issue for the Candy Cane Scythe.
    Fixed an art related issue with the Excalibur Proto-Armor.
    Fixed an issue with players being unable to navigate Solar Rail nodes after receiving a notification of a previously contested Solar Rail battle.
    Fixed the accessory offsets on the Dragon Nikana and made them match that of the Nikana.
    Fixed a number of stance mods not having correct names for combos.
    Fixed Client side Zephyrs not having lowered gravity after a host migration.

    We'll be continuing to stabilize the connectivity issues throughout the evening/night to ensure no further fires.

    Tomorrow we will deploy the Update full of fixes. Compensation will be given when it's finished being scripted.

    Nah, seriously guys, ever since U9 it's been worse, I recall U11 was good though, ummm sort of, at least then I (and apparently a lot more people) didn't had SO MANY ISSUES with fps and bad performance, now add all of the new bugs and yes, I know all the big releases in codes they have to make to add ALL of this amazing content, that this is a beta, but you know what, sometimes there are features that'll end up dragging you down instead of creating something attractive.

     

    I mean hey, they released such great content but the game's crashing more (or so I'm seeing in the forums), the performance is worse for a lot of people and the bugs are increasing, as I said earlier, when you release big things like dark sectors, melee 2,0 there's bound to be big issues, but... this isn't a thing of ONLY big issues, but a big ammount of big issues that are coming from time ago and also a LOT of new smaller issues.

  5. Hi Aspari, I've seen my MS go to the 50s and the fps was... omg, it was like... I won't be able to sleep at night lol, but in all seriousness I think this is more related to warframe and the so-called optimizations rather than our own settings, I'm running an OCd fx6100 and a  7870 oc edition (plus more OC that I put on it) with 16gb ram and it's working with a bit more fps and also a bit less, hah it depends on what tielset I'm in the enemies around, where in the screen I'm looking and all that...

     What you experience is pretty much what A LOT of users experience, there's been a lot of prodding into the causes and fixes for the FPS drops and the bad performance but no one actually was able to find exactly why (imo the optimizations aren't good... if there are any), DE_Steve mentioned that some performance issues were going to be solved but as you and many already know this last big release actually brought a lot more issues so you did well in creating a ticket, just to humor them... try creating a different ticket putting screenshots of in-game fps and the EE.log with the latest drivers.

     I just did the same as you did creating a ticket and such since I've experienced this issues ever since U12 came out, but in all honestly I don't expect a miracle fix, not now, tomorrow or even the next two weeks... guess we shouldn't press on them too much since we'd just get frustrated lol.

     

    Oh yeah, about the many hotfixes we've had (and will continue to have unless they do what's called an Emergency release) that's because they put a new gameplay, new mods, changed a lot of things and there's also the Dark Sectors, that's bound to bring hotfixes on the current new things that are like a hot potato right now... so the regular, everysecond issues that we have such as the low fps, fps drops, bad perf and such will be left for later.

     Anyways if you have the time and want to try possible fixes... just google "warframe U12/13 - warframe FPS fix - warframe bad performance/FPS" and you'll have some reading and advices from guys that tried A LOT of stuff.

While on several missions I've found that when collecting ammo for some reason the naming is wrong and changes the name of the ammo type you obtain, though the ammo is accepted correctly (as in the screenshots attached) the naming continues to be wrong and this ended up happening on all the weapons I had for different maps, though after I reloged it was corrected don't know if anyone else had this issue.

  8. Hi Vitras, also had the first issue (fortunately I was carried till the end by some friends), did it happened to you by any chance that after using the ammo from the secondary weapon it would switch to melee and even if you gathered ammo won't let you use the 2nd weapon?

  9. Virtually all of them. 

    Same here Silverton, I was thinking that after U13 the fps would at least go back to something better but... not at all and when I'm in ceres's missions... boy don't get me started. 

    Don't know about all of you guys but I've been having issues with FPS after U12 came out, it's a shame the optimization didn't fix it this time around, still can't understand how is it that I'm able to run battlefield 4 with the best settings and don't have such fps drops with the specs below while in warframe I've already hit the 30ish fps wall several times.

     

    Oh specs are:

    AMD fx6100 overclocked

    Sapphire HD7870 OC edition + my own overclock

    windows 7 x64

    16gb ram

  10. Wow... just checked the smite forums... they are really mad and taking this well not in the best possible way... it's kind of amazing the rage there is over the showdown. Idk, Both are great games, just that according to MMObomb warframe is better (well... it is lol) but why diss' the game and community just because people voted fairly that one game is better than the other.

    I think the same as Agent of Change ... we all did this for warframe with DE's help.

  11. There is no best warframe because most of them do different things and fill different niches

     

    if you dont tell us what you are looking for in a frame, you might end up making a frame you dont enjoy and sell it

    then you would have wasted your time.

    Totally agree, sheldon showwed for example that even though Zephyr is amazing there are other warframes better suited for defense missions (Nova for example or Rhino)

    And maybe some players are able to work out better games and missions with ash than rather use rhino, other are better using the galatine instead of other melee weapons (though I think melee is really going to change with 2.0 so we'll all readapt and create new styles)

    I guess it all comes down in two things:

    - Type of mission

    - Type of warframe

    (I'd add a third one too which is - Type of gameplay, if you're a "shoot em up" or "melee" that changes a lot your missions, if you're rather stealthy instead of making lots of noise  and having to put out lots of alarms constantly lol)

  13. I have something similar (gpu utilization low - low fps), I tried to change on/off 64 bit mode and directx 11 and some combination helps a bit.. I wonder if AMD cards users have the same issue. I see all ppl here with newest nvidia cards. My guessing is this has something to do with optimization for kepler cards.

    Same here, it's not a new card tbh, 7870 oc edition plus my own oc on top of it) but the optimizations really played a number, I tried using the beta drivers and doing the directx11 and 64bit mode too but the change isn't really improving much.

    Wow has it been that long since this was first posted? I don't think the game will be going back to how it was. I can see some performance increase but not much. Hopefully I'll be completely wrong.

    Actually had a ticket raised for something unrelated to performance and ended up chatting with one of the support guys about it, he was really cool about the issue and explained that they do know about this issues and working to fix them (you know how that goes "we're working on it") but he really seemed to be honest about it, plus Steve mentioned that in U13 we'll all have lots of issue fixes regarding game performance and cpu/gpu usage.

    So I completely agree with you in that I can also see some performance increase, but let's give it some time before we think it's not going back to how it was... or maybe I'm just being naive thinking that could happen lol.

  15. When you own a video card valued at $549.99 USD and a system total value at $2,100.00 USD Rounded up; you expect to not see the FPS drop down into the 50-60 range at any point. When my FPS is working as it should in Warframe I sit around 170-240. Really. Warframe's performance is horrible atm and needs fixed badly. 

     

    I feel that bro, updated my rig and to be honest I can't understand how EVERY other game I play goes beyond what warframe runs it's ridiculous how DE stated on updates that they've optimized the game yet even the consoles are having issues on fps
