  1. I keep reading in this thread she has never been changed or reworked.  Hysteria never used to be a toggle ability. She never used to have combos, Hysteria never used to use weapon mods or have channeling. Everyone used to run ichors and when things got rough or you needed to rez someone you pressed 4. People would run short duration builds so they didn't get stuck in hysteria. Over the years they have reworked her at least twice.

    She is one of my most played frames but I rarely bring her into a team and end up playing EV trin and someone else brings a scruffy less experienced valk (except that one guy, you sir were a boss).
    Build her with eternal war, life strike and rage and only use hysteria when all else fails. There's something rewarding about doing a lvl100 Corpus survival without using hysteria but still there are more team orientated frames like Trinity and Frost.

    Hysteria maybe dull to some, but it's a lot more fun than pressing 2 2 2 2 2 on trin while mirage presses 4 4 4 4 4 4 to do a lvl100 interception

I run rage, so you can always cast hysteria, vitality, steel fiber, steel charge aura (I run CP on other frames, just not valkyr, so someone else is probably going to be using it) either way dont seem to have much issue killing lvl100 bursa's or anything else.power strength, efficiency or duration next, range last.

    Bezerker and lifestrike on melee weapon, you can melee a lot of lvl100 content without using hysteria this way, from rage mod feeding lifestrike. Also running primed reach on melee allows you to kill nullifiers without leaving hysteria. 

    I have a few formas on mine and some of the mods are hard to get, but rage + lifestrike is what makes her amazing.

    Only downside to this is channeling in hysteria were rage won't work because you don't take damage. I just rarely channel in hysteria and bring enough strength to not have to 95% of the time. You can always do use 1 or 3 to set up for a finisher like above posters said.

    eternal war is fun, but there is some sacrifice to fit that mod in.

  3. I am also stuck. I was able to see the Vor's Prize icon after hotfix. Killed Vor, and it said mission completed. My quest still says Vor's Prize, but with no icon of where to go. My friend's completed entirely and shows Starmap as an option now. Their codex entry is also different than mine now.

     

    Think mine got stuck in same place, killed vor then it got stuck about there, says vors prize on the nav quick menu but nowhere to go

  4. I have 2 or 3 forma on mine, but since they changed hysteria before update 14 to longer work off power mods she is a less demanding to build.

     

    steel charge , steel fibre, vitality, rage (rest doesnt really matter though I like rush) (you will always have enough energy to pop hysteria before you die from rage)

     

    and then beserker and life strike on something like ichors and you will be able to stay in melee stance in t4 content, you didn't even need hysteria with this build.

     

    I only had brief chance to try hysteria in 14 before servers died so not much to say about that except the combos werent added yet.

Not saying I agree with anything or support anything in favor of what he said/you said [speaking form a neutral standpoint here]  Please do not turn this topic into a argument.  I really don't want this thread locked due to that, especially when the community could share their valuable opinions with eachother on Valkyr.

    I should be able to express my opinion on Valkyr without being attacked, she is My main and I'm happy they have done some of the changes I have and others have suggested so far. It is up to the moderators to decide how much they want to allow people fighting with each other.  

  6. I've been using Valkyr as my go-to Melee 2.0 frame since Update 13 hit, and ever since I got the Life Strike mod. Valkyr is pretty much the only Warframe that makes the Rage + Life Strike Combo incredible: she can take hits to her HP due to her high armor, so she can get energy that can then be used for channeling so she can get health back using Life Strike. It's a viciously powerful cycle that allows Valkyr to survive a lot of punishment coming her way.

     

    I spec Valkyr to take advantage of said build and Melee 2.0, using only Vitality, Rage, Marathon, Quick Rest, Rush, and Steel Fiber, which pretty much allows me to go Sword Alone on most of my solo missions up to Pluto and Tower III missions. And since most of the time I'm trying to level up new weapons, I hardly use Hysteria much. When I do though, it's often for the moments when my underlevelled melee weapon is too weak in the face of an unexpected threat, like say the Grustrag Three.

     

     

    Valkyr is still rather underpowered compared to the majority of Warframes though, with Paralysis being an especially poor CC ability only mitigated by its low energy cost (though it does have the ability to allow you to perform badass finishing moves on paralyzed enemies). That said, she's really fun to play solo, especially if you're abusing Rip Line to become Spiderman, and I found that War Cry is a rather helpful ability if you're going all melee.  

     

    Very much looking forward to Valkyr getting Melee 2.0 animations and combos for Hysteria.

     

    Life strike + rage mod is very strong, I'm not even sure if it's possible to die with it when you factor in her armour. You can heal your full life in a single strike all while having your energy constantly bouncing off it's cap. It is more fun than hysteria because at least the illusion of death is there, though it's not really valks fault. Had a blast yesterday doing the outer terminus invasion.

     

    Also really looking forward to the Hysteria rework. Been a long time coming. Hopefully they get her damage back to what it was. Even when you where hitting for 80k with hysteria on low level mobs you where hardly scratching level 70 heavy corrupted gunners.

    Why would you want a melee-weapon you can't copter with, seriously.

     

    That crutch is making you miss out on a lot of good content.

    Yeah they should take all the time they want, a year or two would be about perfect, I have no idea how anyone expected her bugs to have been fixed in the months and months since her release. It's almost as if people don't realise it's 1942 and all the programmers have gone to fight the war - Sarcass

  10. Still my fave but hysteria is pointless since melee 2.0

     

    rage + life steal in melee stance = immortal and doing more damage than hysteria anyway as well as having access to combos.

     

    at this point might as well make hysteria AOE rez everyone, because that's all it's good for.

     

    yes we know shes getting reworked, should have be done at the same time as melee 2.0
