  1. Happy 5th anniversary Digital Extremes' Warframe!

While this game's not perfect and some of the recent changes were frustrating, it's still one of the best out there. And thanks so very much for the gifts, DE!!! More power to what started out as a doubtful project from the "little developer that could..."

  2. Two years ago our clan would have daily LoR raid runs with allied clans. Those were great times and it said a lot about the personality of some of our members and allies along with the near endless laughter brought on by the banter of players who have bonded well over time spent running trials =). While LoR wasn't exacltly bug free it was a trial that we would rerun should it bug out. Indeed, those were trials, trials of great patience xD. I then went on a hiatus for a couple of months and upon returning only went on sporadic LoR runs and a few JV.

Frankly, I hated JV because of the final AW stage. Normally I'm a patient player when it comes to learning a new game mechanic but slashing those plasma balls into J3 Golem just gave me endless motion sickness, which got worse with the introduction of a new control scheme and slightly improved with the option to select classic controls. Compounding an already unpleasant gaming moment were the few times the J3 Golem would bug and become invincible or fail to dock into its mooring platform right when the stage was a nanometer away from completion. With LoR we'd still find the stamina and enjoyment to somehow redo the run, with JV, man, it was tedious, at least for me. Must have ran JV only 6-7 times. Initially it was with the intent of just getting that trial's emblem and never playing it again. The other times were more out of nostalgia of playing with our old members/allies. Sadly, bugs and uninspiring gameplay outweighed nostalgia. DE, LoR and LoR Nightmare will be missed and here's hoping, please, that should JV return may the last AW level be a more fun experience. Thanks.

In two years of playing I've only ever posted on the forums once or twice.  I had to log in especially to point out how utterly pointless this change is.
    Completely unnecessary.

I haven't completed Harrow yet but when someone in the community does this, it's worrying. But then who knows, maybe DE could make an "achievement" for using "least used frames" for finishing a raid or sortie run at least 5 times.

  4. LOL! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that DE made an error on the damage increase for the Detron and Mara Detron. Then again this might be a case of deja vu, like the time I told my fellow clan members that the Hema's  Mutagen sample requirement was an error that would be rectified at the soonest time.

If you really desperately need shields on Nidus you'll be pleased to know Suda sells shield drones that can add a flat 200 shields to him.

I cannot imagine why you would want shields over a simple steel fiber+vitality combo however. Yes he can't facetank level 100+ enemies like that but that is why you have your other powers, the 3rd power especially and combined with your 4th you can tank through almost anything long enough to nuke them down.

Just up your power strength, range, and don't worry too much about duration or efficiency.

That's some great advice right there. And yes, post your build for more recommendations from other WF players. BTW, welcome to the forum.

  6. Oh yes to harpak and paracyst =D! I was about to delete my harpak but now it's a keeper.

I now regret deleting my 5 forma attica =(.With the upcoming changes to it, the Zhuge will become the status option while the Attica will be the crit specialist for auto crossbows. I guess I know where I'll be investing the forma from my nerfed weapons - and gaddemmit, I'll miss my Zephyr + "Tonkor shotgun" and synoid simulor, albeit the Tonkor still seems like a very viable weapon.

That's also a very  welcome change to the Panthera but with the ammo requirement change, does that mean that it'll only fire 2 shots before reloading -similar to the tigris shotguns? The upcoming changes to the Buzlok, too, just made it more interesting, except the beacon no longer sticks to surfaces, and this nerfs it since it lessens the weapon's utility as a door sweeper.

Lastly, and it's OT, please revert Nyx's Assimilate. The drawback that came with that ability pre-nerf (fix =P) balanced it out.

  7. I've been a long time follower of Mynki's deviantart page and finding out that he worked for DE was the first of a few surprises that Warframe had in store (Keith Thompson's Volt was the second and third onwards were the great designs and gameplay). Having him around creating unbelievable art assets was like a massive bonus, I thought. But sadly,  you really can't have too much of a good thing =(.

Mr. Brennan, thanks so very much for contributing your time, effort and vision into bringing this game to life. May you have great luck in whatever venture you're heading into and I'll always be a fan.

    Take care...

i am in a moon clan with only 2 active players and we spend allone 4k in... no big deal

Hmmm, if you're in a moon clan wouldn't your clan need 500K mutagen samples? 500,000 - 8,000 (you and your clan mate's contribution) = 492,000...Oh well, "Big deals" are relative and if you folks are up to the challenge then, why not? Personally it's an interesting perspective to adapt as it promotes patience and delayed gratification (or mind numbing, soul rending repetition...perspective, right?).

Oh and no 'fix' for that "Hema" problem since it wasn't broken to start with, that's fine, but wasn't there mention of a Mutagen Sample drop rate boost or additional farming areas - besides the derelicts and Eris (near barren drop rate in that place)? Our Storm Clan still needs around 36K Mutagen Samples (some of our active members (5-10) contribute 1-200 samples intermittently) and an announcement on whether that's still happening would be most welcome.

And as always, thanks so much for the hotfix, it's greatly appreciated =).

The link to the Excal and Nova actually just takes you to the Nyx picture.

Yes, it links back to Masateru Ikeda's Deviantart page with his Nyx rendition. Please fix, thanks =).

And thanks so much for the stream; it's always worth watching even if it gets me late for work=).

  10. Thank you very much for the FYI and the improved availability of the wraith/vandal parts, Ma'am! :inlove:

I'm really hoping, along with those who missed the "Operation: Shadow Debt" event, to see the Vulkar Wraith parts eventually as a reward.

And since we're hanging on a slim thread of 'hope,' whatever happened to the *ahem* distant possibility of the Braton Vandal which was "kind of" hinted at last year?

I like the way you think, an Ayatan body for Ordis? Pretty Ironic lol.

LOL! Now that would be something very interesting indeed =). Or have it house another Cephalon and you'll have bantering Cephalons, except the other one's corrupted. It'd be something like Ultron and Jarvis xD.

how about a broken ayatan statue from the derelict
that can only be found when you are mr 21+
it requires insane amounts of resources to first repair it
and then it uses a already powered up ayatan statue to power itself?

since they are all moving they could be inserted like a key or a gearwheel in a mechanism

Oh yeah! It's like building a great big clockwork ayatan sculpture powered by smaller ayatan sculptures =). Except perhaps without the resource drain. Seems like OP's idea is spawning more ideas =).

  13. "Fixed being able to heal Defense Targets with Nidus’ Ravenous ability. "

Oh, but that's quite sad. It was a great feature while it lasted though as it helped greatly in extended run Axi E1 relic excavation missions. Still, thanks for clarifying that it was a 'fix' and it's "now working as intended..." SIGH...
