I feel, that without using thunderbolt or shred ((for punch through specifically) the bow becomes too singular, and isn't able to take down more than one enemy at once

Okay, so I'm trying to decide the best way to go about building my dread.
Current polarities: 3 V 1 -
Current mods: serration, shred, thunderbolt, malignant force, split chamber
Hellfire, vital sense and point strike.
My main concern is trying to fit hammer shot somewhere. If you have any other complete

So i've heard to use your focus attack (on a controller) it's L1+R1. That does not work and I haven't been able to do it since the update, and i'm not sure why. I either crouch or get out of my frame when I do that. I tried doing it a bunch of times in a game and ended up not being able to shoot or use abilites while my warframe always faced sideways running all bugged out. I get that will probably get fixed soon enough but I'd really like to use my laser beam
