Thanks for the advice so far everyone. The reason i was looking into status builds is that I already run crit on my favorite weapon Vectis, and have a dread. Is it still possible to do a decent status build without Malignant force and High voltage?

I just got my Latron prime up to lvl 30, and have my Grinlok building, and I was wondering what mods I should use if I don't have access to the event status mods? I'm currently just using a crit build because that's all I really have at the moment, but the crit chance on both weapons doesn't seem that great.

Thanks for the advice I'll definitely try out the crit delay, and hammer shot combo.
So are any of the other sniper rifles any good? I still need to do a lot of ranking up and was wondering if like the grinlock or latron we're useful. -
I'm not great on running the numbers, but would the critical delay and hammer shot out dps elements in the towers? Also any thoughts on the other sniper rifles, like if there are any better than vectis.

I recently got the vectis and I really love it as a weapon. I feel it is extremely precise, and I love the sniper archetype in my shooter games.
I wonder if there is a build for it that lets it stand at least close to the damage that my dread is doing currently. I'm currently using serration, charged chamber, split chamber, point strike, vital strike, shred, and 2 elements, and I feel that it still is vastly outclassed by my dread.
I don't care much for the projectile speed of the bows, and if there's a sniper rifle with comparable dps to the bows I would really like to know about it. Thanks ahead of time for any replies

Vectis is by far my favorite weapon that I've used so far, and I feel that I'm useless compared to my friends who run aroudn with things like the soma and penta. It also makes no sense that a bow that works off the power of draw strength should do more damage than a massive supersonic bullet. I would really like for them to make sniping feel more rewarding for our percision with perhaps more vital point damage, and a lot more punch through to let us deal with the lines trash mobs at least half as well as an assault rifle.
