After hearing that this is happening to at least some other players, I thought it prudent to open up a report here. Here is my original text:
Myself and 2 friends have killed the Jackal three times now, with no loot dropping from him other than ammo/energy/health. I was given to understand that bosses always drop something. The first time, we had just gone with my buddy who was farther progressed than me. After getting nothing, we went back and cleared all the levels up to jackal from the player who had progressed the least (myself). We have killed jackal twice since then... no loot. Are we doing something wrong, or do bosses not always drop loot?

Any idea what the hotfix did? I really want you to say: "Why yes! It gave us all trinity helmet blueprints since we couldn't get them from the bugged alert 20 minutes ago!"
