You should give the SoS a whirl sometime if you want tanky build. 90%+ damage reductions nots something to overlook.
I've played around with it quite a few times. Rarely ever do I need Nekros to be more tanky than with my default build that I use, but I generally run Void in my spare time so I've always got an ancient on hand, which gives the 90% damage reduction as well. I chuckle at the mod because it just doesn't capitalize on the things that I like about Nekros. To each their own, no?

Shield of shadows is the very definition of a mandatory mod and it requires so much power strength to actually take full advantage of
I, as a Nekros main, can't agree with that in any sense.
As for the main post-- Nekros without augments is (in my opinion), a good frame, although he's quite a bit harder to play. Despoil is the only augment that I use (unless I'm taking a new person through the star chart or just feel like playing around, in which case I use Soul Survivor and Creeping Terrify, respectively), and that's just for the ease of keeping his energy and health pools topped off. You can definitely play him without it, but it's just a QoL mod. As for Shield of Shadows-- I've never really used it, honestly (tested and played around with it, yes. Used it, no). If you're going for a tanky build on him, QT, Rage, Primed Flow, Vitality & Redirection, Health Conversion, and Despoil. Those will get you far further than SoS will, at least in my personal experiences.
But build to your preference, if he's too bland without augments, then slap them on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Generally, a squad will all get the same rewards if they start in the cell and don't join after the mission starts. Exceptions with connectivity issues, host migration, etc. That's what I've noticed to be the case, although I'm not a DE staff member so I can't say for sure.

Perhaps a health/energy siphon if the beam is used rather than getting shot at for standing around capturing a corpse?
Mmn? That doesn't sound all too bad an idea. Either that or give, if not immunity, damage resistance during the animation. Because just sitting there, waiting for it to finish for a single damn health/energy orb is a bit irritating.

It only gives you health and energy when you perform a
quitelengthyanimation, which pizzas or desecrate would be much better for. Either way, it's still a nice weapon. -
Spoiler tag pls&thx.

Banned for not getting the obvious pun.
Pun not intended.

I have also returned.
Sartactics is one whom would be ecstatic to watch all of Adam Sandler's movies. All of them.

Banned because some bosses care.

Banned for not having a sweet Nekros Prime glyph.

Will there be a required "spoiler tag" on the forums for threads relating to the war within so nothing is spoiled until us console players get the quest?

Don't want to see spoilers. Rip my chances of winning plat.
Time to set up an f5 macro in anticipation for tomorrow.

Pft. No, we should all hail Nekros.
1) Necromancer. Just... Yes.
2) Immortal if you play him semi-competently.
3) His PA came with Tigris and Galatine P. Just... No words.
4) You can do a bunch of cool s*&^ with him.

New gear items that alter game play:
-Alt Fire Grappling hooks or grenades
-Shield Boosters
-An armor overcharger that grants an armor health bar enemies have to chew through before damaging you again
-More Ayatan stuff (then remove the credit cost attached to getting the Endo) as the Sculptures are so rare and so costly to use they arent worth hunting
-A chance for Syndicate medallions in normal missions
-Uncommon containers: These could offer small amounts of Ayatan, Ducats, or a mission only booster to credits, XP or Resources that only works on this mission.
-They tried and scrapped grenades a long while ago, as for a grappling hook? Play Valkitty.
-We have those. Build them.
-Kinda like Iron Skin? Eh... Doubt it.
-Kek I have no comment for that.
Spoiler-I don't agree so much with that one. We have our standing that we gain through the sigils, then the syndi missions, then the medalions in those. That's more than enough.
-They already drop boosters and rare resources, such as fieldron, detonite, forma, and possibly mutagen. Not sure about that last one.

I have to agree with you for a sec, you can't eliminate power creep. It's like a cancer in the game, incurable but can be repelled.
Power creep, nerf. Power creep, nerf. Power creep x3, wait for a few months, nerf. It's pretty much an endless cycle until they change some of the fundamental systems of the game. Even then it'll still be there. But yeah...

Reality check: One of them is easy to solve, which one you ask? I say power creep. How do we solve this? Make mid to high tier weapons unique on their own, likes special abilities.
And stop making your text look like shrapnel penetrating my eyeballs.
If you've payed attention to recent talk, they're trying to make weapons unique. Although power creep will always be a problem in this game. Maybe there are ways to mitigate it but solve it? Unlikely. Also no.

Gonna try out Diriga and Dijin soon but for now I've been switching between Wurm and Helios. Dethcube got some love when I was ranking it from 0-30 but now he's just sitting there... Collecting dust.
SpoilerAyatan companion when?

Alright:
Power creep
Broken enemy scaling
Lack of endgame
Oh and the void grinds. Both old and new are pretty bad and I don't have to explain about this.
All of these are things that can't be solved all in one fell swoop, and they've been hacking away at it as far as I'm aware. It hasn't made it to us yet but fixing things that are so intertwined with the rest of the game doesn't happen overnight. They had to put something out, and they did. They took something that the community liked and added it to the game.

I hope you're aware that telling me to quit this community is purely subjective and therefore, biased.
I'd only quit if DE even mess things up horribly (which is hard for them to do so), but I can expect them to halt this game's developmental progress by shifting their resources and focus on stupid, not-fundamental community memes while notorious issues in the game persist to ruin everyone's experience.
I wasn't telling you to do anything- I was giving an option. Tired of something within the community? Just stop going onto the forums and watching streams. And it was a mostly throw-away quest that most likely took very little time. And do said issues "ruin everyone's experience"? Please give some examples from the era in which the quest was made.

I don't get your logic, not even at the slightest.
Eh? He is indeed old, although with the amount of activity around him in general he's nowhere near dead. Irrelevant maybe. And my logic is that if you're tired of what to you is unfunny being 'shoved down your throat' as it were, then you could just remove yourself from the community. That's where it all comes from.
