I don't know, for me it comes down to fun, and Dante is the most fun I have had playing a frame in a while. I think he's just awesome as-is. And I know it's on me, but because I was so excited for him I spent the $15 to get him and the extras and didn't regret it for a moment... until the announced nerf.

I know I know, DE hits things with the nerf bat, I know that they need to balance the game, I know they are trying their best, it just sucks to see fun get nerfed.

Ultimately, a frame should be fun for everyone - and that includes not taking the fun away from other players...

Take Gauss... Every time there is a Gauss, other players end up running behind him, with nothing left to shoot at. Nerf him first, DE. :clem:

It makes no sense nerfing Dante if the worst offender is left untouched.

It means that DE doesn't have control over the fact it does it and it's on the forum software made by Invision or whomever though.

Sure having to log back in every few days is very mildly annoying, that's how security works. You give up a little convenience to make things a bit safer. You'd be more annoyed if your forum or entire Warframe account was compromised because it left you logged in somewhere that you don't normally log in and didn't specifically click to log out.

This is bullpoop. And that last sentence just doesn't make any sense.

Of all the invision-powered forums I've been using, the WF forum is the only one to grace us with such a "feature"... At some point, you have to touch grass and realize that, no, it is neither a feature nor necessary. Just a plain old bug, and/or lack of motivation to get it fixed.

Maybe you consider it normal to land on a disconnection page whenever you click "submit reply" after typing your post (thus loosing said post), but I certainly don't.

You people need to stop whinging about these packs - they centered about non mandatory totally optional cosmetics. So what if they are time limited or too expensive for you, they will have zero impact on your gaming so your all just complaining for the sake of complaining

Playing a video game is totally optional; it doesn't change the fact that the company behind WF is engaging in predatory business practices...

We are increasing Platinum to all Heirloom Packs to bring them alongside Prime Access standards:

    [...]

In doing so, we are able to increase the value of pack contents

This is BS. Plat can be bought at a discount, unlike those packs, or even traded ingame; whatever value it adds is questionable...

More options at a reasonable price, without any filler nobody wants, is all you needed to do, you keep missing the mark, DE.

    I'm...not.

You're seriously reading too far into this.

If you're going to go out of your way to post links to bug threads to "remind" DE about bugs they are likely already aware of - you are entirely capable of including a concise message stating that you are indeed reminding them.

Think of it this way, if you took a product back to a store and just swiped through several online reviews without any further context, then proceeded to glare at them, waiting for them to do something. That's roughly equivalent to posting several thread links with zero context.

Not sure I agree with that analogy, but in any case, a lot of frustration and discussions (including this one) could be avoided if DE would set up a proper public bugtracker - which feels very much necessary for a game as old and bloated as WF. The way this is going right now just cannot work.

And yet the message including them was deleted? I'm stating the situation as it is, not as I perceive it should be. It's patently obvious that the lack of context was the reason for the message's removal.

    Sorry, but no, it's not.
Seriously, what context are you talking about ? That issue has been reported in details months ago, in several threads, by several users. Reminding DE that the bug still exists should be enough, presuming that they've read said reports previously. Nor DE nor you can expect me or anyone else to submit a new, full bug report on a regular basis just to get it on their radar : that is ridiculous, and shows how deficient QA & bug tracking are currently.

It somewhat does according to what Teshin talks about regarding undercroft objectives. Though at the same time I'm quite sure Teshin doesnt know what an actual mirror is.

You're looking at it from the lore perspective, but IMO what little effort DE put in Duviri doesn't even warrant that kind of stretch.

A content island made of floating islands recycling game modes and assets is as lazy as game development can get, and doesn't even deserve a "What if ?".

To be fair, the issue seems to be specifically on the forum side, and the forums are powered by Invision -- which is software not written by DE (and which I've used to run forums myself).

There's plenty of things we can point the finger at DE for, but I'm not 100% convinced this is actually one of them.

I know several other forums that are powered by Invision - and most of them were affected by this very issue, but all of them quickly got it fixed.

It seems DE can't even be bothered getting in touch with Invision, and just keep paying them for a broken service. The worst thing is that this problem most likely impact the community's engagement in discussions & feedback 9 times out of 10, I don't even report bugs anymore, because re-logging back in for the 100th time is getting old, and DE just ignores issues stemming from old code (that's the impression I get anyway).

    it could be worse

Still, it's a problem that needs to be adressed.

Some maps already had very tight bounds for a warframe-only gameplay (there's that europa tileset with a very annoying final "room" for instance); they introduced easier ways to reach the edges of a map with void sling/dash, but nether bothered with proper re-testing of older areas, it seems.
